Hotel berhampiran Belomonte 20 Gallery, Porto

Un hotel muy cómodo y bastante bien ubicado, ya que se encuentra cerca de las principales atracciones turísticas de la ciudad. Además el personal es muy amable y atento, y hay servicio de recepción las 24h.

What a lovely little hotel! I cant sing the praises of all the staff enough! Before the trip I was sending questions and asking for advise, all by email and I was getting replies so quickly. When I was there the staff again were so helpful, kind, curious, really nothing was too much. The room I had was a single room, the bed was a comfy double, but the room was tiny, the bathroom was adequate with a 700 x 700 shower in the corner (bit of a squeeze for me, but others would be find) window opened in 2 direction and there was a fantastic fully functioning air con unit. A 5min wall from the nearest metro line and about a 15min walk to the centre of the town, and maybe a 30mins walk to the river. Be aware it's all up hill back to the hotel from town! I would recommend and stay here again!

The treatment I received at this hostel was despicable, unreasonable and hostile. My flight was delayed for 5 hours and whilst in airport I received a very encouraging email from 'so cool' explaining reception closes at 9pm and if I haven't checked in by then I would have to wait to the morning. Having found somewhere else to stay for that night, I turned up at this hostel the next morning, the rigid lady at reception simply wasn't interested or concerned in the least of my predicament and informed me I was a ”no show” and my room was gone for the whole 3 nights I'd booked. I asked for a partial refund for the further 2 nights as I was now having to find somewhere else to stay and would have to pay top price, she was not interested to know this and told me there would be no refund and no room. Whilst I understand policies are policies I think a bit of allowance for unforeseen circumstances wouldn't go amiss. I had no control of my flight being delayed and had I not received the welcome text reminding me of reception opening hours I would have thought twice about contacting them, their communication was confusing and had mixed messages. More unforgivably is the attitude of the manager even when she knew I had nowhere to go and would need the partial refund to secure alternative accomodation, she was not losing any money and had sold my bed twice. I have used *********** for years to book hostels and I have never received such harsh heartless treatment. Whilst I get business is business, there's more to life than a computer database and rigid rules that don't allow for unforeseen circumstances. The rigid lady tried to tell me it was *********** who cancelled me but this was just a lie,. Thankfully the 'hostel Rosalina' saved my bacon and were a fantastic contrast to ”so cool's awful treatment. The receptionist was wonderful and helpful and her friendliness reassured me Porto was not full of heartless money grabbing robots. Avoid this hostel if you're not going to be there for 9pm or you have any chance of a flight delay. .

Sehr gutes Hotel, freundliches Personal, Rezeption 24h besetzt. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist gut, Auswahl an Speisen ist nicht groß, aber sehr lecker. Man hat auch die Möglichkeit zu Mittag günstig zu essen. Unser Zimmer war auf der Straßenseite, daher etwas laut.

El hotel es espacioso tiene una sala para ver TV y si trabajas poder hacerlo tranquilamente, el wifi no es bueno estuvimos trabajando use nos desconectaba a cada rato. El desayuno es estándar, las habitaciones estaban limpias, grandes y el sonido no se pasaba tanto, era posible trabajar silenciosamente. El primer día tuvimos un inconveniente con las personas del hotel y el agua, sin embargo fue un asunto que se pudo arreglar, aunque inicialmente la persona en recepción no fue muy cordial, lo solucionaron inclusive nos enviaron agua a nuestra habitación y los siguientes días si fue muy amable. El servicio fue bueno en general, recomendaría quedarse ahí. Abajo hay un restaurante y panadería. Queda a unos 25 min del centro histórico caminando.

Really loved this central hotel in Porto. So many images of music here in the reception lounge and bedrooms. Good value as well and loved the rooms. There is an amazing eating extravaganza within the complex. We went as a couple but it works for families too. Nice choice at breakfast too and you can park in their underground car park at a reasonable rate
