Hotel 3 Bintang di Province of Como

My partner and I stayed here for one night, and we cannot wait to visit again. Room was lovely, and views from the restaurant and terrace were stunning. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Staff were so friendly and accomodating, and we went for a swim first thing in the morning which was a great way to start the day. Breakfast was delicious with a tray of pastries, juices, jam/chocolate spread and cake brought to the table while you waited for your cooked breakfast option. Bed was very comfortable, however we were woken up at about 12.30 with music blaring from the apar**ents/rooms above our room, and our reception was closed at this point. Regardless, this only went on for about 45 minutes and we were able to get back to sleep. Upon checkout, we were given a bag to take away with us, which had pasta and passata inside, which was such a lovely touch. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We have been in many hotels in different countries, but this one is really special, hotel is beautiful, very nice location, just 9 minutes you are in city center by train. All is good, but personal, Francesco at resection, makes experience to stay here really amazing. Any question you might have, he has an answer, and best is that Francesco does it with pleasure, he helps really with heart, we have never seen such a perfect help in any other hotel. We found out about this place through a friend of a friend. This is now our perfect little find. We previously stayed at Cernobbio, however we would come back to this hotel. The location is perfect on the lake and without the price tag of other hotels right on the lake. They offer breakfast. We had a room overlooking the large balcony and and the lake and we had a table and chairs to watch the views. The restaurant was fine and drinks very affordable. The staff are great and the rooms are modest but very clean and comfortable. There is a spa there however we didn’t get a chance to use it. There are bicycles to use to ride along the lake and there is ample car parking, which can be an issue around Lake Como.

I stayed here for 5 days and was very comfortable. I had a solo room with a great mountain view, it was an absolute joy to wake up to. Breakfast is included and they serve the creamiest cappucino I have ever tasted, seriously, its insanely good. They also serve a delicious, rich and moist slice of cake, boiled eggs, fresh fruit and some more of the basics for breakfast. There's a fee if you want to have your eggs fried or scrambled. The mattress was of a great firmness and I got an extra pillow on request. If you need an adapter for your laptop, they have this for you as well. If you want to bring some groceries in there's a fridge you can use downstairs. I'd say the only thing that really bothered me was not being able to make tea in my room. I missed having a kettle, instead I'd have to go downstairs to ask for a cup of tea, that got charged to my total bill at the end of my stay. Besides that, all the staff was incredibly friendly, especially the breakfast staff. The village this villa is located in is also very friendly and quite pretty. There's enough places to walk or hike to for some stunning views, nature and rock collecting. I got a very warm welcome in San Fedele and definitely would recommend anyone to visit. The locals are kind and fun-loving. For solo travelers who don't speak Italian very well it can be a bit intimidating to go out since all nightlife is accumulated in one street and they don't speak a lot of English, but seriously, just go and try your best. Wish people a nice day or evening in Italian, and Google Translate your way through it. There's some people who speak English but generally, just try so you're not being rude. On the day of my birthday, the local flower shop owner came by in the morning and picked and handed me a bunch of beautiful flowers (without knowing it's my birthday). It was a great moment, really made me happy. She was incredibly nice. Her truffle dog is pictured, don't try to pet him lol. On the last day I happened to see her again and got handed some amazingly fragrant flowers, again 🥰
