The room was surprisingly spacious and beautifully designed. Although the hotel doesn’t advertise itself as having a sea view, you can still enjoy a distant view of the ocean from the room, which was a nice bonus. The facilities were quite complete, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is definitely one of the biggest highlights—it’s excellent. You can walk directly into Central shopping mall, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and a fantastic location.

Loved our first stay here! Our room was a ”Second Row” Sea View, but the view was still lovely. The room was huge, clean, and very comfortable, though the shower pressure could be stronger. The balcony is massive and great for relaxing. Since the resort gets a nice breeze all day, you can just sit and ”slow life” it for hours. The food is a standout—the Grilled Ribs and Grilled Garlic Fish are must-tries. Everything tasted so fresh. We will definitely be returning!

We stayed at the resort for 4 nights and it was lovely! We were in a pool view double room next to the gym area  and it was very spacious and well cleaned. Bathroom was lovely and we got fresh water every day.  The breakfast is great with a wide variety of food. Winkks is SUPERB for food and drinks, it’s a lovely location and the staff are super friendly. Great house band too! Overall we loved this place and will definitely be going back.

Came for 4 days and 3 nights with my girlfriend. Left wishing we’d booked five. Location does a lot of heavy lifting here — directly on the sea, with its own beach entrance, so the distance between your bed and your toes in the sand is essentially a bad excuse. Plenty of greenery around too, which keeps it feeling like a retreat rather than a tourist trap. We visited off-season, which I’d quietly recommend to anyone: calm enough to actually relax, busy enough that you don’t feel like you’re the last people on earth. Cleanliness is good for what you pay — not spotless luxury, but they clearly care, and it shows. Rooms come in different categories and price points, so there’s a fit for most budgets. Food is where this place genuinely punches above its weight. Beach bar and restaurant by the water, separate breakfast area in the morning — both excellent. Quality is high, prices are fair, portions are honest (you won’t leave stuffed, but you won’t leave hungry either). The breakfast specifically might be the best I’ve had at a hotel in all of Thailand. Bold claim. I stand by it. They also offer massages — can’t review them personally, as I was fully committed to my beach-lying responsibilities. Priorities. The staff needed a little warm-up time at first, but once the ice broke, they were genuinely lovely. Think of it less as cold service and more as a slow burn — worth the patience.

Nice little split level duplex. 2 queen beds on upper level , with glass sliding door and own ac. Big double day bed and massive TV downstairs. Fridge and kettle. Separate shower and toilet. Bit of a communal seating area right outside. Owners very good communication and helpful. Rented scooter for 300.

My stay at Sandview was amazing. The view from my beach bungalow was exceptional. The staff were brilliant, from checking, breakfast service, house keeping and check out. Highly recommend. Thank you for the stay Sandview. It was wonderful.

Perfect location right on the beach. The beachfront restaurant is very good and caters to a variety of tastes. The rooms are decent. The hotel is more geared toward younger guests, who visit in large numbers, but it can also be a good choice for families who do not mind the lively atmosphere.

This is a good low budget option to experience island life, but not that low budget £60 per night ( January 2026) We are very familiar with island life in Thailand and appreciate that some things just don’t work as well. The location of Malibu Samed Resort is gorgeous, it’s more or less situated on the beach of the small quaint Wong Duean Bay. There are several beach restaurants available, the vibe is chilled, without the drinking or ******** culture. It’s lovely. Our welcome was warm, the staff were great and happy to help with our luggage. Our room is small 16 m² with 2 single beds, some hanging and storage space. It has a rustic feel to it. There is a fridge which is always welcome, tea and coffee making facilities, which we always appreciate, as well as a safety deposit box & flat screen TV. The bed and pillow are comfortable but not sumptuous. Towels are provided and I would say are of typical island quality. However the shower was an issue, obviously water is limited on the island and taking a hot shower was challenging but actually having a good supply of water either in the evening or morning was very hit and miss. Missed more often, it gets frustrating when you can’t have an adequate shower, that’s one of the reasons we move about frequently. Breakfast is of limited quality but there are a variety of options including cereal, hot food both western & Thai. Toast cereal and tea & coffee. The pool area was hardly used during our stay so a nice quiet retreat from the beach was available.

Highly recommend Stellars Resort! Great service & nice clean room.  The staff was super helpful and the room was two thumbs.  Not located on the beach but it's just a short walk (about 4 minutes).  The village is also a short walk (on the way to the beach; same direction/same road),  so there are many restaurants / shops / places for massage etc... Also, can rent a motorbike from the resort easily if you want to drive the island & see other beaches.  Good breakfast & good swimming pools. Would definitely recommend!

Great location on the beach. The beds are comfortable and the air con works perfectly. One thing to keep in mind, very rarely will they replace your empty toilet paper roll. I have stayed here twice and had to go to the lobby to ask for a new roll for a total of three times. I suggest stopping by the lobby when you come back from the beach (after housekeeping has been done), so you don't go to your room and find out there's no toilet paper the hard way. They will also ”usually ” replace your towels, but this time they just took them without giving a fresh ones in return. While this may all be bad for some, I now know what to ask for in advance, so I wouldn't mind staying again.
