Hotel terbaik di Roermond

It was our great pleasure to visit Roermond and the wonderful hotel De Oranjerie. I had such wonderful memories when i used to live in Roermond and witnessed the opening of the hotel. the hotel, despite its current renovations ticked all the boxes for us. the suite, the continental breakfast, the staff and the facilities were all top shelf as well as its location which was perfect ! We would love to visit again since Roermond is beautiful and to witness the transformation of this fantastic hotel.

Hotel literally next to the trainstation. But no worries: in 2018 reopend and therefore no noice of the trains as long as you use the airco and keep the windows closed. It is in the center of Roermond. And one can park the car below the hotel (if available) at no costs. We had bikes with us (as many guests had) and could park them in a special bike area. This had an extra lock on the door, so only the guests with bikes could enter this area. Really lovely. Also good beds and clean room and a modern bathroom. The breakfast is good and a lot of choice; fruits, yoghurt, various breads, a toaster, cheese, meat and sweet stuff to go with your bread and eggs, good coffee and pancakes. Fresh juice which you could make yourself. I probably forget something.... but one thing I know for sure: everyone could take what he/she wanted. On the other side of the rather busy road one could take a drink in one of the cafés. The walking area to the shops started there too. To go to the Designer Outlet takes a moderate person 15-20 minutes. To the river Roer 15 minutes and several markets 5-10 minutes. The only lesser thing which I can think of is that the smokers did go the terras in front of the hotel. Because they were allowed to smoke there. For people like me the place becomes a no go area then. All 8 tables around the place where we sat, did smoke. Sometimes 3 or 4 people at one table. It bothered me a lot, because although I don’t smoke, I had to smoke. My advise to the management: make an area for the smokers and separate it from the non smokers. Or tell people to smoke somewhere else.

We werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen. Parkeerplaats voor de deur. Mooie grote hotelkamer met prachtige badkamer en heerlijk zitje. Goede bedden. Receptie bevindt zich op 100 meter van het hotel van de hotelkamers. Daar is ook 's ochtends het ontbijt. Het ontbijt was zeer goed. Prima Wifi en heel stil. Op 200 meter lopen bevindt zich het standje aan de Maasplassen en daar heeft het hotel ook een eigen beachclub. Hotel ligt op prachtige locatie. Vanuit hotel zijn de plassen overigens niet te zien. Hotel is beslist een enorme aanrader. Wij hebben er in ieder geval een heerlijk verblijf gehad, Minpunten: We waren er op een snikhete dag en de kamers waren wel heel warm. Geen airco. Het was veel te warm om buiten te zitten (geen schaduw). Parkeerplaats was vol toen wij aankwamen, niet met hotelgasten maar met strandgangers.

Der Empfang ist schon der gute Start. Das Personal ist mega freundlich. Das Zimmer bzw. die Suite - klasse! Modern, groß, vollumfänglich ausgestattet. Alles toll. Auch komplette Küche eingerichtet ist dabei. Gut, dass uns die Betten zu weich waren....ist Ansichtssache. Die Drinks an der Bar waren erstaunlich gut! Den Gin Tonic hätte keine Bar besser hinbekommen. Das Frühstück....äh....ja....Jugendherberge! Das beschreibt es vollumfänglich. Man bekommt was. Kantinenflair, Kantinenqualität. Nun ja. Die Lage des Hotels ist top!

Another great stay. Hospitality at the highest level. Beds you wanna stay in for the whole day, except coming out for a great breakfast! Very central situated to all great things Roermond has to offer: Nice shops, The Outlet, trips on the lakes, great variety of restaurants, including the one of the hotel itself.

Bei unserem ersten Besuch nach ein paar Jahren fanden wir das Hotel und unser Zimmer (301, sehr ruhig gelegen) genau so schön und gepflegt vor, wie wir es in Erinnerung hatten. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war ok. Schade, dass es in einem Land wie den Niederlanden nur zwei langweilige und relativ geschmacklose Sorten Käse gab. Unser Hund durfte mit zum Frühstück. Das war uns sehr wichtig, denn er ist noch jung. Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt in einem empfehlenswerten Haus.

Die Heizung hat nicht funktioniert (November) , der Service meinte, sie steuern das von der Rezeption aus, hat nicht geklappt, mein Mann ( Installateur) hat im Bad die Heizung wieder hinbekommen, aber im Schlafraum waren nur 19 Grad, und aus der Klimaanlage kam nur kalte Luft. Sie müßte entlüftet werden, was aber nicht auf die Schnelle geht, es war schon nach 22 Uhr. Wollten uns Decken geben. Nach öfteren Nachfragen haben wir ein Zimmer im Haupthaus bekommen, da bei uns nichts mehr frei war. Da ging die Heizung im Bad auch nicht, aber wenigstens im Schlafraum. Eine Entschuldigung gab es auch nicht. Sehr schade.

Vandaag na een lange periode van Corona geluncht op het terras. Vriendelijke bediening en heerlijk aan de roerkade. De tosti was lekker op 2 dikke plakken brood met een goede slag boter op de tosti. Deze kreeg hierdoor een hartigere touch. Helaas vond ik mijn Spa rood tegenvallen. Ik kreeg het in een klein glaasje en betaalde hiervoor wel €2,70! Achter ons zaten ook mensen die ook niet te spreken waren over een glas water zonder flesje ( zij gaven aan dat het een vervelend gevoel geeft, omdat het ook kraanwater kan zijn) voor €2,70. Ondanks het watertje een prima plek om te zitten!

Excellent staff! Perfect location! Incredible good food! We had a wonderful New Years Eve! The menu at Damainz restaurant was creative and delicious! All staff members, hotel and restaurant, treat us like we were special guests always with a smile on their face and warmth from their heart! Thank you for your hospitality!

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits dans cet hôtel à l'occasion d'un weekend de shopping au Roermond designer outlet. L'hôtel est situé à la frontière allemande, à 6km du Mc Arthur et du centre-ville de Roermond. Les villes de Düsseldorf et Maastricht se trouvent à environ 50 km de l'hôtel. Il faut savoir que l'hôtel est situé en bord de nationale et qu'une voiture est indispensable pour se rendre au centre-ville. Le parking de l'hôtel est gratuit et le petit déjeuner est compris dans le prix de la chambre. La chambre était spacieuse, confortable et bien équipée même si la décoration est un peu vétuste. Ces remarques sont valables également pour la salle de bain. Rien à redire sur la propreté, comme c'est généralement le cas aux Pays-Bas. Le petit déjeuner est présenté sous forme de buffet. Le choix est très correct, la qualité est bonne et la salle très agréable. Enfin, le personnel est très accueillant et professionnel. Des informations touristiques sont disponibles sur place pour les personnes désireuses de visiter la région.
