Hotel berhampiran Monilia, Rome

We didn't expect it to be that good! The place is great with all facilities you need. The staff is helpful, and the check in and check out was super easy. The room was good and clean. The only con is that the bus from the center of Rome back to hu is often packed with people and late, plus you have to wait for a while on the stop for the next ones to arrive.

With the expectation that this is a guest house (not a hotel), we were duly impressed with the amenities and cleanliness of this place. It is ideally located at Piazza Barberini (next to Metro stop, by the Triton fountain, and across the street from pick up of Rome hop-on/ hop-off bus), with a cafe across the street and several restaurants, pharmacy, bank nearby. It is about a 10-15 leisurely walk to Trevi Fountain, so location is attractive for tourists like us. We travelled as a family (2 adults, 1 child) and we were assigned a triple room overlooking the courtyard (very quiet at night, even for my husband who is a light sleeper). The central air conditioning was amazing, especially in the summer heat. The housekeeping is exceptionally prompt ( we would return after lunch for a siesta and the beds are made, bathroom cleaned, fresh towels available). While they don’t have breakfast onsite at this time, we are able to buy breakfast vouchers for 3 euros for the cafe across the street (this is the discounted rate since the same breakfast is €4.50 without a voucher). This was a quick breakfast type: cappuccino and a cornetto (croissant with Nutella or jam). If you want an American breakfast, that is also available at said cafe. Prior to check-out, the front desk arranged for our airport transfer (€65 van pick up). Alternatively, folks can walk to the taxi stand across the street (€50 standard tariff for airport drop off by taxis) but we had someone with mobility issues so pickup in front of the guest house was ideal. Other amenities included basic soap and body wash, in-room safe, water bottles when we first arrived and small refrigerator inside our room. There is also a vending machine near the front desk for additional water/juice and coffee vending machine (you will need coins- it was maybe 85 cents for a small coffee). There is a nearby PAM grocery we frequented for bottled water and other supplies. Overall, a memorable stay and we hope to back again soon.

I appreciate how Julian ( the receptionist/ cleaner) welcomed us and did his best while we wait until he finished cleaning our room. We did arrive early so we understand why our room wasn’t ready yet. We have no complaints against him. He is very sweet and nice. However, the room is totally different from the photos posted on their site. The room space was tolerable but no A/C and there is a very weird smell in the bathroom and the second night was totally NO WIFI. I texted the contact number but no response. The shower area was small. I am a petite woman and I weight 120 pounds I barely cannot move a lot and I do not think a 6 foot male weighing more than 200 pounds won’t be able to move freely in the shower cubicle. Another thing that is a disappointment was 2 month and 1 month prior to our arrival We requested for an airport shuttle (since it was mentioned that they offer this service, which is also the major reason we picked this property to stay) the day before the arrival was the only time we found out from Andrea ( he’s a male) that we won’t be able to picked up since he said the shuttle is already full. We we’re really disappointed. If we knew about that hassle we should’ve arrange a different transportation or went to a different hotel that offer the airport pick up. I didn’t like how he sent us the message saying that we never communicated very well with him. Like what I mentioned, we were already trying to request for this 2 months and again a month before our arrival. Only last minute we found out that we’re on our own to figure it out how to get to Dada suites. The only good thing about this property was Julian. We like him a lot . The location was ok but there are better properties that have better location to tourist spots and excellent service.

It was an extended weekend family trip, so this hotel was a good fit since it was not all that far away from some interesting things, and it was priced reasonably. The room was spacious, with a plain design making it a little ugly, but it was clean and well cared for. Our view was of the apartments in the opposite buildings, but we got our views elsewhere. The bathroom was OK even if the shower doors did not close properly. They cleaned the room daily and left fresh towels, even if we did not ask for. What was really bad was the soap/shampoo that they offered. Not that it smelled bad or anything but it reminded me of the soaps hotels had in the 80s The common are was almost always busy, but the people were respectful and friendly, and left the place clean. The wifi was fast, even when using VPN like I did. Breakfast was nice, with a lot of choices and interesting flavors. But the coffee was really bad. You do not expect that in Italy, but it was from an automatic machine that made different kind of coffees, so the result was bad. The people that worked there were always smiling, were friendly and eager to help, which is something that always helps when you are staying in a foreign country. The hotel is next to a police station and the immediate area felt safe, even at night. There are homeless people close by but they never bothered us. There is also a metro station within walking distance. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and it is a great choice for a brief family vacation

The hotel has a great location，but the kettle made the lights go off in the entire room, and we didn’t get a replacement for it so I had to go fetch water downstairs. The bathroom is very small as well and the sofa bed isn’t very comfortable. The breakfast was very average just normal. The service was great front desk were friendly and helpful.

Only two stars but spotlessly clean. Lovely room and super shower room. Bed was firm but comfortable. Fridge in the room. Coffee machine and snack machine near reception. No lift. Room only. Area is a bit run down. Lovely park 100 metres away with pavement cafe/bar doing basic snacks. Would go there again

Sono certa che ognuno di noi abbia la propria scala di fattori per valutare se un posto e' bello o brutto ma che siano le persone il valore aggiunto. In questo hotel pulito, carino e molto comodo , vicino alla stazione di Roma Termini sono proprio le persone che fanno di un piccolo hotel, un punto di riferimento per i nostri viaggi a Roma. Paola della reception e' stata, ed è, la persona che ci ha seguito in fase di prenotazione e che si è fatta in quattro per aiutarci a proiettare le nostre fotografie su una parete, di una saletta allestita solamente per noi, un gruppetto di fotografi arrivati in città per un corso di fotografia di due giorni. I went on a rugby weekend to see the six.nations competition Italy v Ireland. The staff made me welcome upon my arrival and advised me on certain security issues when visiting the top landmarks in Rome to make my experience less intimidating which i appreciated enormously since was on this occasion travelling alone. I even requested and took on the recommendation of the staff member for a good local hair stylist. he he There are plenty of good bakeries and small bars and restaurants in the neighborhood making this an ideal location in comfortable surroundings. Tip outside the hotel a short minute walk, is a direct bus line to the Vatican. Allin.all great and knowledgeable staff and very helpful. Room was good and a speedy elevator my floor. breakfast was sufficient with plenty of fruit and choice, Do get the Roma 72 pass i used the public transport quite often.

Lots of on site parking. Laundry service recommended across the hotel were amazing and friendly. Room was very small though. Blow dryer didn’t work. Not enough bench space in the bathroom. Overall cleanliness was great. The fridge was nice and cold. Although they don’t have a stocked fridge and you would have to go down to get bottled water. Variety of breakfast choices. Drinks were okay and coffee was from an instant coffee machine which was okay. Staff weren’t around often to ask for fresh coffee. Front concierge were friendly though and very helpful.

Была в этом отеле в мае, в одноместном номере. Номер не большой, душевая кабина маленькая, в номере чисто, окно очень маленькое и вид на соседнее здание. На завтраке встречал приветливый парнишка, все показал, рассказал, сделал кофе. По еде было вареное яицо, сухие завтраки, йогурт, колбаска с сыром и много выпечки.
