Hotel berhampiran Villa Barberini al Gianicolo, Rome

Excellent hotel. I stayed 2 nights and from the customer service, the room, the ambiance and food it’s was really enjoyable. The room was very clean and the amenities in the room was not just your average hotel. The bed was so comfortable and my room though not cold was comfortable enough to sleep well. I wasn’t sure what was nearby but I got out and walked and found many restaurants and shopping. The Trevor fountain was in walking distance very beautiful but extremely crowded. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel was in a great location. walking distance to the main railway station and to the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain. Good nearby bus links to the colosseum and the circus Maximus, and only a ten minute walk to the nearest underground. The hotel did a buffet breakfast which was very convenient, and had a mini bar in the room which we didn’t use, but the prices seemed reasonable for a hotel in Rome. Good restaurants nearby also.

The location was good.The room was small and very worn. There was no counter space in The bathroom. It was nice The cleaner changed The towels every day. The door lock worked poorly and was left open for one night. Only one of The hotel staff spoke English well. The hotel refused to call a taxi to The airport, should have usea a limo taxi.

The hotel is located very near to the Termini Station with easy access to most locations in Rome. The rooms have a bit of old-style charm and are spacious and comfortable, especially when travelling with multiple family members. The buffet breakfast at the top floor offers a wide variety of good-quality items, and is truly a highlight at this hotel. The service staff is friendly and attentive, and will rush to your aid when experiencing any difficulties. The cleaning staff helped us when we were having issues with the key, and the desk staff helped us change to a different room without any questions asked. Truly very friendly.

The hotel was conveniently located 5-min from Termini train station and the FCO airport shuttle bus and hop on hop off bus stops just across. We stayed 2 times during our 2 week stay in Rome - over night stay before heading down to Civitavecchia Port for MSC cruise and 4 night stay upon return from the cruise ship. We used the hotel storage service for one of our luggage bags for a week during our 7-day cruise. The hotel staffs were friendly.

Sono certa che ognuno di noi abbia la propria scala di fattori per valutare se un posto e' bello o brutto ma che siano le persone il valore aggiunto. In questo hotel pulito, carino e molto comodo , vicino alla stazione di Roma Termini sono proprio le persone che fanno di un piccolo hotel, un punto di riferimento per i nostri viaggi a Roma. Paola della reception e' stata, ed è, la persona che ci ha seguito in fase di prenotazione e che si è fatta in quattro per aiutarci a proiettare le nostre fotografie su una parete, di una saletta allestita solamente per noi, un gruppetto di fotografi arrivati in città per un corso di fotografia di due giorni. Sono un'insegnante, siamo andati con un gruppo di 35 alunni ”vivacini” di terza media. Ci siamo trovati benissimo: posizione comoda zona Termini, locale rinnovato pulito e ordinato, colazione completa e abbondante, set di cortesia e asciugamani rinnovati giornalmente, servizio di vigilanza e di manutenzione sempre disponibile e tempestivo; prima di partire ci hanno addirittura gentilmente stampato le carte d'imbarco. Lo consiglio vivamente per esperienze di questo tipo.

Only two stars but spotlessly clean. Lovely room and super shower room. Bed was firm but comfortable. Fridge in the room. Coffee machine and snack machine near reception. No lift. Room only. Area is a bit run down. Lovely park 100 metres away with pavement cafe/bar doing basic snacks. Would go there again

I would have liked to rate the hotel as 4.5* however our room was at the front of the hotel and even with the windows shut it was very noisy from the large road junction outside, plus there was noise from other residents and tvs in other rooms, maybe some soundproofing needs to be carried out. That having been said the location was excellent, an easily walkable distance to main attractions, plus a metro stop is directly outside the hotel. The area felt safe at night and there some very good restaurants to try which are only minutes away. Should you wish to go shopping then there are plenty of non-designer shops to choose from nearby including a very good department store called COIN. Our room was a good size and had a lovely bathroom. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, the linen was super soft. Cleaning through the hotel was of a high standard. Breakfast was excellent, everything you might want and the most delicious scrambled eggs I have ever had in a hotel. There were salads, pastries, cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurts, different cured meats and cheeses, sausages and bacon and vegetarian options. Top marks for the hard working breakfast staff. A great start to the day. Staff generally were friendly and helpful. At reception were snacks and drinks to welcome you which was a nice gesture. The hotel also has a small restaurant, ideal for lunches or if you are too exhausted to leave the hotel at night. We had pizzas and salads there a couple of times for lunch and they were very good. The reception area is good with couches, they will look after your baggage if you have a late flight. A very enjoyable stay.

We didn't expect it to be that good! The place is great with all facilities you need. The staff is helpful, and the check in and check out was super easy. The room was good and clean. The only con is that the bus from the center of Rome back to hu is often packed with people and late, plus you have to wait for a while on the stop for the next ones to arrive.
