NEVER AGAIN will I stay at a Choice Hotels property after staying here!! I told the front desk clerk that I had a certified service animal when I checked in. Per this hotel's listing, service animals do not incur any extra charges (and it's ILLEGAL if they do). On my THIRD day there I received a call from the manager informing me that I am being charged an additional $100 because I was assigned a room that was not pet friendly. What?? I was ASSIGNED that room and was already there THREE days and then charged. This place discriminates against people with disabilities, plain and simple. I was told that even Certified support animals are NOT welcome without a $100 fee to disinfect the room. My pup does NOT shed, left no messes in the room, was quiet and no one was bothered by him. I am in the process of disputing this charge and have contacted an ADA Attorney and will be pressing charges against this owner. I had selected this hotel because of the lowest price in the area and it turned into the most expensive place in the area. I was on a budget and this man had no empathy for me as a person. Also, my room was not cleaned once while I was there, the people in the room next to me were smoking pot and the smell seeped into the hallway and apparently that was allowed. I will NEVER STAY in a Choice Hotel Property ever again!!!

Yang mengatakan ia tidak pernah benar-benar menjejaskan saya dan penginapan sentiasa tenang, bersih, murah dan mudah. Kakitangan membantu dan mesra, dan saya ragu mereka mengawal keadaan polis. Teruskan, bumbung merah!

Great room! Comfy bed. Close to great restaurants and stores! Would recommend to anyone visiting the area!

We stayed at the Rodeway Inn Sunday thru Thursday morning. The rooms are basically clean, but don't walk around your room barefoot. Carpets are filthy. The housekeeping staff work their backsides off & are BEYOND wonderful! They do the best job they can. Housekeeping is NOT allowed to enter a room when someone is present (for their safety i.e. NOT a good neighborhood or clientele). However, the next day we had a note under our door that housekeeping couldn't enter room to clean as we were not present! REALLY??? Which is it as they can't have it both ways. Annie 2nd shift desk clerk was lovely as were Christina, Robb & the housekeeping supervisor. Bottom line, management needs to get on top of maintenance issues. A/C didn't work in 1st room, had to move. Thankfully this stay we had hot water. Bathtubs are incredibly slippery. No handicapped bars in bathrooms yet room #2 had a handicapped height toilet. If all you want is a clean bed, microwave & refrigerator for a reasonable price. This will meet your needs. MANY LONG-TERM residents here.

We are minutes away from the Kane County Fairgrounds which host monthly Flea Markets Charlestown Mall and Fox River Park for biking trails and fishing. Many golf courses are within close proximity including Pheasant Run Resort.Neighboring gambling casinos and exciting nightlife await you when visiting the Super 8 St. Charles.Our spacious rooms include cable TV with free HBO free high speed Internet and free light breakfast. Dogs are welcome for a nominal fee per day with and refundable deposit. The Super 8 St. Charles offers discounted use of nearby fitness center for all guests.

I stayed here after staying up to late at a nearby movie theater down the road from this property. Paid about $70 for one night, probably a tad bit more than it should be giving the property hasn't seen any renovations done since this motel was built in the late 1980s as a Days Inn. Despite the dated appearance, the rooms were clean and nothing sketchy was in the rooms in general. Staff was alright but can be a bit better and nicer. Overall, this is an alright hotel but there's definitely better options in terms of budget hotels in this vicinity, I'd probably would only book this property as a last resort type of option
