This is a tale of 2 halves. When I tried to book online, I wanted 3 rooms but every time I tried to pay I got the message saying that these rooms were not available. I was booking through the All - Accord site - their own. I tried 9 times using different debit and credit cards. I finally emailed the hotel and was told that they could book the rooms for me but the price was higher. I explained this and even sent a screenshot of the price that the site quoted - but to no avail. Eventually, I tried booking each room as a separate transaction and was successful. I did complain to the CEO but they just responded that they didn’t have evidence of my doing that even though I offered to provide it as I’d used a cashback site and they recorded my attempts. This was utterly disappointing. Second half - the hotel was lovely as were the staff. The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable . Although an extra, there was secure parking at the back. The bar was open until 2 a.m. it was a great stay.

Cela fait plus de 12 ans que nous séjournons 1/2 fois par an dans cette établissement. Nous l’aimons toujours autant , la propreté, la gentillesse, la restauration, une excellente literie. Malgré, que nous nous rendons compte au fur et à mesure que de petites choses manquent par rapport aux premières années, le restaurant, j’apprécie moyennement le manque de nappes , surtout que les tables sont très abîmées. Genre le manque de beurre à table qui avant nous était servi en plusieurs variétés, doux , demi sel , cristaux de sel.Les prix qui ont fortement augmenté. Le manque de choix au petit déjeuner , plus de carte en chambre pour le room service . Jusqu’à l’année dernière , nous prenions notre petit déjeuner en chambre ,mais celui ci nous avait tellement déçu que ce jour nous avons préféré le prendre en salle , un vrai manque pour nous , dommage. Sinon les plats sont toujours délicieux, avec une belle présentation. Nous y reviendrons encore certainement 😉

The hotel is really well situated in a lovely quiet area but near to motorway. The room we had was lovely. Very spacious and comfortable. Breakfasts were good and the bar and garden area lovely for sitting in. Our first evening meal was included in our half board rate and was very good, the waitress was excellent. The second night was my husbands birthday so we upgraded to the more expensive dinner. This was a mistake, the starters were nice, but my lamb was cold and my husbands beef was tough. We asked for additional vegetables which were not provided, instead they removed the potatoes from the dish, so we asked again after the meat was served and it took some time for more vegetables to arrive, by which time we had eaten the cold/tough meat! So some aspects excellent and others definitely average

Nous sommes restés neuf jours dans cet établissement (dont deux Wonderbox) et nous sommes ravis de notre séjour. Tout était parfait. L'histoire du site racontée par David était passionnante, en anglais comme en français... La chambre Anémone était plus que confortable. Le petit-déjeuner était complet (pain, viennoiserie, beurre, confitures, yaourt maison, jus d'orange, thé ou café). Que demander de plus ? Nous avons pu bénéficier quatre soirs de la table d'hôtes. Simple et excellent. Nombreux conseils et avis de la part de David pour ne pas rater certaines visites telles que la Coupole et le Planétarium à Helfaut. Restaurants à 15/20 minutes à l'exception du week-end où il est préférable d'aller directement à Saint Omer (30 minutes). Etablissement situé en pleine campagne, à 1h/1h30 de la côte d'Opale et des principales villes et petites communes à visiter. C'était un choix de notre part, nous voulions nous poser, et nous ne le regrettons pas. Parking extérieur à 50 mètres. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Un grand merci à David et Cécile pour leur passion du métier, leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme.
