Hotel terbaik di Fez

We were pleasantly surprised by the Hotel Volubilis. We hesitated to book the hotel because of some bad reviews about not having hot water and the staff being unfriendly (especially to Asians). But we decided to book anyways because of its location and quite affordable price. We were arriving to Fez at around 5pm, and we were told staying at the Medina wouldn't be worth it. Since we were catching a flight the next morning, we thought it would be more convenient to stay in the new city. So, despite some of the bad reviews, we decided to spend the night at Hotel Volubilis. Its location turned out to be great. It's right at the center and by the main avenue. There are lots of places to eat at walking distance and there are several Carrefours closeby also at walking distance. The staff was nice and they welcomed us well and took our request for a taxi to the airport in the morning. So, we have no complaints about the staff. Our room was big with a terrace. The room was old but clean. The terrace had no table or chairs, but it was okay. The bathroom was also big and we had no issues with the hot water. We showered at arrival and in the morning and water was hot and with pressure. The thing that we missed the most in the room was a fridge. Other than that, all good and acceptable. Though we agree with the other comments saying that this is not a 4-star hotel by ”global” standards.

Incroyable riad ! Chambre spacieuse avec une très grande salle de bain. Très propre et très calme. Idéalement situé à proximité de restaurants et du vieux Fès. Petit déjeuner parfait. Le personnel hatim est très serviable et toujours disponible pour aider. Hatim nous a organizer une belle exurtion. J'espaire de vous revoire ...

Hotel di livello, con servizio impeccabile e ristoranti molto accoglienti e rilassanti. Iniziamo dalla location: a Fes, un po' fuori il centro storico ( e questo è un bene) in un'area ricca di vegetazione. L'hotel si presenta molto ben curato, la hall e molto ampia e il servizio di accoglienza davvero perfetto. Le camere sono pulite e ben arredate, letti king e queen comodi, aria condizionata funzionante alla perfezione. Insomma, una bella scoperta, anche dal prezzo accessibile per chi cerca un servizio di un certo livello.

My husband and I decided to stay at a hotel outside the Fes medina, because we had already stayed at a riad in the Marrakesh medina earlier in our trip, and also our guide warned us that it wasn't safe to wander around the medina in Fes after sundown (he also warned us about walking anywhere by ourselves at night). After looking at the various hotel options, we decided to book our last two nights in Morocco at Palais Medina & Spa. It turned out to be the perfect place to wind down at the end of our trip. We booked directly with the hotel, and requested a room overlooking the pool. They gave us a wonderful room (Room 240), which had a king-size bed, sofa and desk area, and balcony with chairs and table overlooking the pool area. Our rate included breakfast, and it was a huge buffet, with lots of different options like scrambled eggs, potatoes, as well as pastries, cereal, yogurt, etc. Although we had a driver and didn't need parking, there appeared to be plenty of secure parking at the hotel (you have to pass a security guard to enter the hotel grounds). We also loved the fact that the hotel is located next to the ”Borj Fez Centro,” a modern shopping mall with a food court, including U.S. restaurants like Pizza Hut, Burger King, etc. (McDonald's is also just outside the mall). We ended up bringing back takeout meals from the food court to enjoy on our balcony. There is also huge Carrefour supermarket on the ground floor of the shopping mall, and a liquor store next to it.

Our first room looked very tired and needed an updated. We stayed again on a higher floor a week later and this floor and room were better. Dining room was extremely noisy. In room dining was very good. Food was plentiful.

Hôtel très bien situé. Les chambres sont très propres et bien insonorisées. Personnel au top, très souriant, serviable, aimable, adorable,merci à toutes et tous pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse tant à l accueil,qu au service du petit déjeuner,que le personnel de ménage,et d'entretien. Environnement très calme. L’emplacement est facile d’accès et le parking apprécié. Très bon séjour dans cet établissement, nous le recommandons vivement. Je recommande !!

I stayed there for 2 days. My room was ready and clean. The bed was comfy. Breakfast is good buffet with many items. I liked it. They have a big garden with a nice pool. I took a fresh local bear in this garden and a good chicken tajine with vegetables and olives.

My wife and I felt like having some delicious ice cream on this 111-degree day. We enjoyed the variety of their delicious homemade ice cream, and during the sunset, we enjoyed our Moroccan green tea with fresh mint overlooking the ancient Medina. This is really a great place to be. Service was excellent, the director of the hotel, Haj Omar, is very friendly. He stopped by, said hello, and welcomed us in this luxurious hotel. I would come back again to enjoy the sunset. I recommend this place to my friends and relatives.

아주 오래된 호텔이지만 관리를 잘 한 흔적이 있습니다. 하지만 리셉션은 역시 모로코 입니다.써비스 마인드가 없다보니 손님앞에서 자기들끼리 대화하면서 짜증을 냅니다. ㅋㅋㅋ 어쩔수 없는 마인드^^ 그외는 다들 무난하게 친절하지만 방문은 꼭 안에서ㅠ잠가야 합니다. 갑자기 룸크린이 노크하자마자 바로 방문열고 들어옵니다 ~ 꼭 안에서 잠그세요 ^^ 조식은 로컬 호텔 조식 수준인데 그만그만 합니다..커피와 주스는 좋아요

Four of us visited here in mid December. The Riad was a perfect place to stay while visiting Fes. The courtyard is magnificent and was a tranquil sanctuary after the bustle of the medina. The rooftop has a gorgeous view of the city. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Breakfasts were good, and dinner was delicious. The staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. We particularly enjoyed watching the decoration of the lovely Christmas tree - fun! - and watching Argentina dispatch France in the World Cup with the staff and a few other guests. The place made us feel at home. Highly recommended.
