Penginapan Intercontinental Hotel & Resorts di Shanghai

The hotel is located onsite of the National Exhibition & Convention Centre in HongQiao, which makes it extremely convenient for those attending the convention. The staff are all very helpful and courteous from the moment we stepped into the hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast very much as there was quite a varieties and the quality of food was good. There were a few restaurants in this hotel. The room was clean and spacious and we were given welcome drink coupons and fruits platter in the room as IHG member. We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay in this hotel.

Overall place was nice and room is big. Getting to the hotel from the metro station is abt 15 - 20 mins walk. Hotel is located in a business district with lots of office building. Walking distance to nearby convenient shops, and Blue Bottle Cafe with good cofee around the corner. Breakfast was good and facilities are good with full gym and swimming pool.

This historical hotel set in a beautiful garden and tree-lined street is in the heart of busy Shanghai’s Western business and shopping districts (Huangpu, Jing’An), yet feels like you’re in the countryside. The gardens were beautiful in May and we could see many weddings during the weekend. The gym is very well-equipped and there is an indoor pool as well. Breakfast selection was very good, with a wide range of Chinese and western options. The staff were all incredibly helpful as well. Would definitely return!

Calm location and rooms with river view are great value for money. I’m a repeat customer. I find the amenities like swimming pool and gym to be top notch.

Highly recommend the Premium room with club lounge access, it provides great value for money if you have enough time to try the: - afternoon tea (2pm - 4pm) includes tea/coffee and small sandwiches, cream cakes - early evening buffet and drinks (5.30pm - 8pm) includes an excellent selection of food and as much alcohol as you can drink! - free drinks voucher for the hotel bar You pretty much don’t need to leave the hotel! The room was comfy and had all amenities you could need. However it is showing its age and there were a few issues including the blind not closing properly but they fixed this. The other issue was the bathroom door not closing properly and making an awful sound. If you’re afraid of heights then I’d recommend you don’t walk in the atrium as it will cause vertigo! A brilliant option for Shanghai, the metro is a 5-10 minute walk away.

I want to start my review from a positive things: 1. beautiful view 2. the best laser-show i’ve ever seen. 3. The room is good, well- equipped, clean and looks great! 4. Staff is friendly and ready to help in a short time. Areas for improvement: 1. Pool. You should stop operating it asap: There’re absolutely unsanitary conditions, the locker room reeks of urine, some kinds of unknown hairs is everywhere around the locker room, even in walls and doors, mold, rust, and broken furniture - that all you can meet in the pool. The pool is small, old, and only 1.2m deep. The pool is not met even minimal expectations from an InterContinental hotel. 2. Breakfast: generally - ok, for a 4 stars hotel. 3. Dirty windows in elevators spoil the beautiful view, I think you could clean in outside using a cleaner robots.

I recently stayed at the Intercontinental Lin Gang Dishuihu and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is fantastic, offering stunning views where we were lucky enough to enjoy a beautiful firework display. The hotel’s amenities are top-notch, providing a comfortable and luxurious environment. The dining options were quite good, with a large selection of fresh dishes, though the food itself was just okay in terms of flavor. Unfortunately, the service was a bit of a letdown. We experienced long wait times that detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay. In summary, this hotel excels in location and facilities, but improvements in service speed would enhance the overall experience.
