Penginapan Intercontinental Hotel & Resorts di Shanghai

The hotel is located onsite of the National Exhibition & Convention Centre in HongQiao, which makes it extremely convenient for those attending the convention. The staff are all very helpful and courteous from the moment we stepped into the hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast very much as there was quite a varieties and the quality of food was good. There were a few restaurants in this hotel. The room was clean and spacious and we were given welcome drink coupons and fruits platter in the room as IHG member. We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay in this hotel.

I’d like to highly praise Sierra at the front desk. She is warm, professional and efficient. Check-in and check-out were handled quickly. She answered all my questions patiently and gave useful suggestions. Her friendly attitude made my stay pleasant and comfortable. Great service and a wonderful experience. Thank you so much!

This historical hotel set in a beautiful garden and tree-lined street is in the heart of busy Shanghai’s Western business and shopping districts (Huangpu, Jing’An), yet feels like you’re in the countryside. The gardens were beautiful in May and we could see many weddings during the weekend. The gym is very well-equipped and there is an indoor pool as well. Breakfast selection was very good, with a wide range of Chinese and western options. The staff were all incredibly helpful as well. Would definitely return!

Wonderful view of the river from our room. Shower was excellent which was a treat after a long flight. Great service. Clean and comfortable room. Would definitely book again.

Pros: great breakfast and cool atrium style design. Location is also convenient Cons: old hotel and it really shows in the rooms. Slightly musty smell and many small flaws in the interior. Service is below averag as they do not offer any services to deliver takeout or deliveries to room with automatic robot which almost all 5 star hotels in China already include, instead requiring you walk down and all the way out of the hotel

I recently stayed at the Intercontinental Lin Gang Dishuihu and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is fantastic, offering stunning views where we were lucky enough to enjoy a beautiful firework display. The hotel’s amenities are top-notch, providing a comfortable and luxurious environment. The dining options were quite good, with a large selection of fresh dishes, though the food itself was just okay in terms of flavor. Unfortunately, the service was a bit of a letdown. We experienced long wait times that detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay. In summary, this hotel excels in location and facilities, but improvements in service speed would enhance the overall experience.
