Penginapan Intercontinental Hotel & Resorts di Shanghai

The hotel is located onsite of the National Exhibition & Convention Centre in HongQiao, which makes it extremely convenient for those attending the convention. The staff are all very helpful and courteous from the moment we stepped into the hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast very much as there was quite a varieties and the quality of food was good. There were a few restaurants in this hotel. The room was clean and spacious and we were given welcome drink coupons and fruits platter in the room as IHG member. We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay in this hotel.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. They even helped you to open the car door for you, carry your luggage and send your luggage to your room. I have a lot of taobao parcels and they are very nice to help me dismantle into smaller boxes and put it into a paper bag for easier carrying. The room is very big and clean too. Nice view too. Will definitely consider coming back again.

This historical hotel set in a beautiful garden and tree-lined street is in the heart of busy Shanghai’s Western business and shopping districts (Huangpu, Jing’An), yet feels like you’re in the countryside. The gardens were beautiful in May and we could see many weddings during the weekend. The gym is very well-equipped and there is an indoor pool as well. Breakfast selection was very good, with a wide range of Chinese and western options. The staff were all incredibly helpful as well. Would definitely return!

Wonderful view of the river from our room. Shower was excellent which was a treat after a long flight. Great service. Clean and comfortable room. Would definitely book again.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the InterContinental Shanghai Pudong and would especially highlight the outstanding breakfast and consistently excellent service throughout the hotel. The breakfast was truly exceptional, offering a wide and high-quality selection that stood out during our entire trip. Service across the hotel was attentive, professional, and always welcoming. The location is also a major advantage. The hotel sits conveniently between two major metro stations, providing easy access to numerous lines, including Line 2, which connects to almost all major attractions in Shanghai. This made exploring the city extremely easy and convenient. The rooms are spacious and, although a bit older, they are timeless in design and built with high-quality materials, making them very comfortable for a longer stay. A very special mention goes to Olive and Melinda at the reception. They went above and beyond to make our stay as smooth and comfortable as possible while traveling as a family with a small child. Their kindness, flexibility, and genuine care made a real difference, especially in helping us manage the final part of our journey back to Europe in a very relaxed and stress-free way. We felt truly well looked after thanks to them. The only disappointment was the swimming pool area. It does not seem to be managed to the same standard as the rest of the hotel, and both the condition and service level fall noticeably below what one would expect from an InterContinental property. It is clearly in need of renovation and improvement. Overall, a highly recommended hotel thanks to its excellent service, fantastic breakfast, and great location!

Had a wonderful stay at Intercontinental Hotel ShangHai Harbour City. A very nice gesture by the hotel for upgrading my room to the 3rd floor lake view room with an unblocked view of fireworks happening every Saturday night, really appreciate that. The room is spacious and well-furnished. Service is impeccable as well. The only minus point staying in this hotel is the mediocre breakfast spread. Most of the food tastes average, and some not tasty at all. Not a standard expected out of a 5 stars hotel.
