The hotel service is 6-star rated , starting from the check in registration (thanks to Tristan) to the front desk luggage storage services ! The buffet breakfast has a large variety of both Chinese and western styles ! If you would like to order from Taobao or return the goods to Taobao merchants , the front desk handsome guys are amazing ! The location is perfect which is next to Nanjing walking street and the famous Lala Xiaolongbao restaurant.

We stayed at Yangpu Marriot for 3 nights during our visit to Shanghai. Despite it being a newly branded hotel in the area, some of its facilities and amenities are quite old due to the fact that it was actually renovated from an old hotel. Yet the hotel’s service, particularly Alisa from the front desk, who is extremely responsive via WeChat, is still considered top-notch. Upon arrival, we were offered a room upgrade and free breakfast every day, which were not included in our original package. The staff members were courteous and friendly throughout our stay as well. One thing to improve on is that the hotel’s AC/heater is centralized and could not be adjusted, so the temperature inside could get too toasty. The hotel’s breakfast buffet could also benefit from more variety and seasoning, but considering it’s free we could not complain more. Overall, it’s a pleasant stay and we would recommend our family or friends to stay there if they’re fine with some distance from the city.

The bathroom door was broken. The staff tried to fix it on the second day of our stay, but we were sleeping at the time. Rooms are spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable and linens are wonderful. Breakfast was good. Be careful when ordering tea at the lobby bar — an additional empty glass costs 58 RMB, which is as much as the tea itself. Tea and deserts are pretty average there

❶入住當天晚上，打電話1號健，要了礦泉水，沒有給送，第二天早上打電話再次要，才給送到。 ❷第二天退房12點以後，在酒店大堂呆了5個小時，下午5點多才走，遺落在房間的充電器沒有服務人員給我打電話，直到晚上回到家，打了酒店的電話，酒店第二天回覆，有充電器，幫我寄回到付，那要是不打電話找，豈不是不換給客户了？ ❸入住的是大床房，給換了變形金剛房,穿過大連廊才能到房間，到變形金剛的房間連廊的盡頭，應該是刷卡進入，來回好幾次，門都不要刷卡，都是打開的狀態，可見也沒有服務人員管理安全問題！

Friendly and happy service, arrived slightly early but had no problem with check in. Enjoyed a great tasting Lasagna and service in the Casalingo Italian restaurant. Overall a lovely hotel experience, will use again when in the area.

We are extremely grateful to the hotel concierge staffs, Ben and Shaylen. We had many parcels delivered to the hotel and they did an excellent job with organizing our parcels altogether for us neatly prior to our check in. That made it a lot easier for us and was a lot more efficient + convenient when we asked to have the parcels sent up to our room. We had a baby too and the reception staff very kindly arranged for a baby cot and air purifier for our room so it was conducive for baby. We are appreciative and grateful for the support and assistance offered to us during our stay. Thanks again, Ben & Shaylen!

Hotel is nice and clean, staff is attentive I don’t get to try out the free buffet because I had to checkout early . Will come back if I come to shanghai
