I recently stayed at the Ramada Shanghai Pudong International Airport East Station, and overall it proved to be a practical and comfortable choice, particularly for a short transit stay. Its main strength is clearly the location. Being relatively close to Pudong Airport makes it very convenient for late arrivals or early departures, and the shuttle transfer takes much of the stress out of getting to and from the terminal. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well maintained, with a comfortable bed and all the standard amenities you would expect from an international airport hotel. Despite being near the airport, I found it surprisingly quiet, which made it easy to rest properly before travelling onward. The bathroom was modern and functional, and the overall condition of the room felt in line with a solid four-star property. Service was generally efficient and professional. Check-in was straightforward, and staff were polite and helpful when assisting with transport arrangements. It had the feel of a hotel that understands its role well — focused on convenience, reliability, and comfort for travellers passing through rather than offering a luxury experience. Facilities are adequate for a short stay. There is a restaurant, a breakfast service, and basic business and fitness amenities. Breakfast was acceptable but not particularly memorable; it did the job, though the selection and quality felt somewhat inconsistent compared with other hotels in the same category. The main drawback is the location in relation to the city itself. While it is excellent for airport access, it is not especially convenient if your aim is to explore central Shanghai, as getting into the city takes time and planning. For that reason, I would see it primarily as a transit hotel rather than a base for sightseeing. Overall, I found the Ramada Shanghai Pudong International Airport East Station to be a dependable and sensible choice for an overnight stay near the airport. It offers comfort, efficiency, and good value, and it works particularly well if your priority is a smooth connection to Pudong rather than easy access to downtown Shanghai

I had an unexpected two-day layover in Shanghai due to a flight delay, and the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Shanghai Pudong Airport turned out to be the perfect place to stay. The room was comfortable, quiet, and exactly what I needed to rest and recharge. The gym was well-equipped and allowed me to keep up with my routine during the delay, which I really appreciated. The hotel’s convenient location near the airport made travel easy and stress-free. Overall, a very pleasant stay during an unexpected situation. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing a comfortable and convenient airport stay.

Airport shuttle service was on time from the airport and I was greeted and well taken cared off at the reception. The room is very spacious and clean. All the amenities are there. Bed is firm which I like and pillows are so comfortable. I have my dog travelled with me and it is easy for her to go to the bathroom right outside with a clean lawn. I have a very pleasant stay

Already stay here for couple time and it is really a nice hotel with excellent service. Location wise is a GREAT choice among the area, for sure, I will come back again very soon

This was not our first time staying at the hotel—in fact, we always choose to stay here whenever we have a gathering because of the excellent service and comfortable accommodations. A special thank you to Ms. Gloria, who was exceptionally kind, professional, and accommodating. She went above and beyond to assist us, especially with our bookings, and was even available to help us through her personal WeChat whenever we had questions or needed assistance. Her dedication and outstanding customer service made our stay even more memorable. We are truly grateful to the hotel management for their warm hospitality and for consistently making every stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you for always taking such good care of us.
