While the hotel is clean and the location is good, I strongly don’t recommend it. I had a bad experience as the air conditioning never worked properly. It was 34°C the whole time. I booked one night but couldn’t spend more than two hours there. I called the receptionist, but she suggested adjusting the temperature to more than 20°C and then after 30 minutes, adjusting it to less than that. It never worked. I don’t think I’ll book this hotel again!

For a single room, it is appropriate to think of it as a goshiwon room with a private bathroom. The facilities are old, but there are no broken items, and both hot and cold water flow well. Changqing Road subway station is less than 100 meters away, and it is 2 subway stops to the Shanghai International Expo exhibition center without transfers. It is about 15 to 20 minutes on foot to the exhibition center, and there are many local restaurants near the subway station. The front desk does not speak any language other than Chinese. (A translator is essential.) It is a very cost-effective accommodation for accommodation for attending the exhibition. However, for tourism purposes, it is lacking in facilities and cleanliness.

Environment: The environment was just okay, not particularly quiet. Being close to the road, it was a bit noisy, but other than that, it was fine. The single room I stayed in was small but well-equipped. The facilities and sanitary conditions were good. It was worth the money. However, there was no hot water when I took a shower at 11pm. I don't know if it was out of water or something. I had to make do with cold water. This was not satisfactory.

The location is excellent, there is a subway station opposite, eating is convenient, there is breakfast every morning, the lady boss is very polite!
