Hotel Mesra Haiwan Peliharaan di Sorrento

For me a big part of a vacation is planning. I love researching towns to visit, places to stay, places to eat and attractions. I’m always looking for that hidden gem. This time I found it at the Hotel Regina Sorrento. We loved this hotel. It had value, location and a marvelous staff. We spent 5 nights in a sea view room. What a spectacular view. Location of the hotel was a short distance to the attractions, beach and port. Restaurants were only a short walk away. I’ve seen reviews about the busy street in front with the noise. The street is barely wide enough for two cars. There are people walking from the beach but there was no noise that bothered us. Excellent hotel. Hopefully one day I can return.

A fantastic hotel with a modern and fresh vibe, and pool on the roof with incredible view. Just a few minutes walk into the heart of Sorrento and to the train station nearby. A breakfast with strong variety, with italian touch. Helpful staff that supported us with practical questions. A special thanks to Walter at the breakfast buffet - for your humour, kindness, your birthday song and warm genuine support.

L’emplacement est pas mal,belle et grande piscine mais pas adaptée aux petits enfants de moins d’un 1m30. On a trouvé des poils ds le lit et salle de bain…!!! A éviter les chambres côté ascenseurs…bruit très gênant surtout le soir tard. Honnêtement,je peux pas le recommander.

The Rivoli is a small, comfortable, well-run hotel on a quiet Sorrento side street -- but it is also an easy 5-minute walk to Piazza Tasso and Coso Italia. We stayed in an attic suite which, despite some odd angles, provided plenty of space for two and a large, comfortable terrace with a great view of the local neighborhood. Perhaps most important here, hotel manager Fabio and his team of breakfast managers Rosie and Alex and front desk staff Simona and Carmela are good people who do a great job, are helpful to guests and create a real ”family feel” to the place. We have stayed twice and would stay again if good fortune brings us back to Sorrento.

We were disappointed. The hotel's location is good, but on a pedestrian street so you have to walk with luggage to get there since you cannot be dropped off in front. Not a bad walk unless you have a lot of luggage or must leave in the midst of a torrential rainstorm as we did. There is a lovely terrace where breakfast is served and where you can sit in the evenings. The bathroom grew moldy during our stay and housekeeping did not address it. You had to keep the bathroom door open and fan on to keep it from getting worse, yet the smell was unpleasant and the fan was noisy. The staff (owners?) were not particularly friendly and were downright rude on one or two occasions. We had a bottle of champagne left in our room with glasses from our travel agent. The evening we drank the champagne, we were yelled at when we placed the used glasses on the bar for not asking permission to use the glasses. We tried to explain that they were the glasses left in our room, but it didn't seem to make a difference. We visited at the end of a very busy season and I am sure they were tired of tourists, but yelling at guests is not appropriate.

Beautiful hotel!! If I ever come back to Sorrento I will 100% stay here again. The entire hotel is very clean, staff were helpful, and the bar staff were amazing. Giuseppe and his team made this experience for us, every night before dinner we’d sit on the terrace to have a drink and watch the beautiful water views. Breakfast was included every morning had good variety: different styles of eggs, toast, yogurt, fruit, and a dozen or more different pastries and cakes to choose from. The hotel also has a private elevator that is free to take (if you don’t take their elevator you pay 1.50 euro to take the public one each time) you directly to get down to the beach which made it easy for when we stayed at the beach club and had to get down to the Marina.

The whole stay at Johanna’s park Hotel was very satisfying. The hotel provides you with a service that takes you straight into the town centre and back, same goes for the time table regarding the scheduled pick up times. Staff was welcoming and helpful, rooms spacious and reliable for what the hotel advertises. An absolute favourite was the breakfast, INSANE! The guys working there and serving us were full of passion and love for what they do. Definitely going back!

The location and the view are excellent. We were pleased to be able to use the outdoor swimming pool even in April. The highlight was the made-to-order breakfast prepared on the spot by the chef, and all the staff were extremely friendly. Special thanks for always welcoming our son so warmly, giving our family unforgettable memories. We are immensely grateful to them :)

I dont really know what to say about this hotel, its just outstanding. some facts, its immaculately clean, its a 10 minute walk down to Sorrento, 15/20 back up , its quiet , its small enough to care, regular change of linen, towels etc. the good stuff, the staff are bloody amazing , totally helpful nothing is to much trouble. you may of read about breakfast , its true its fantastic. they will provide a list, and book restaurants for you , however I would definitely recommend the Mare Verde just up the hill about 5 minutes walk for everyday eating its a traditional restaurant , great food average meal for 2 about 50-70 euros if your drinking. Im afraid I was not impressed by the hotel restaurant next door the Tonnarelle . purports to be fine dining which to some degree is true, however its not a relaxed atmosphere and to say the staff are somewhat up themselves is an understatement ! And finally and most importantly we would like to thank Tina the breakfast Maître D for her wonderful friendly greeting each morning , her attention to detail and mostly for opening up before breakfast as we had a very early flight, thank you again Tina.
