Cari Hotel 2-Star di Dali

The hotel is easy to reach and conveniently located near many famous attractions. It’s right in Dali Ancient Town and very close to the South Gate. The Three Pagodas and Erhai S-Curve are also not far away. The owner is incredibly helpful and kindly explained the best way to get to the hotel, which made everything much easier. I also received a lovely welcome gift, which was such a warm and thoughtful touch. There’s a little dog at the hotel who happily provides a door-to-door escort. 🐶💕

I had an absolutely incredible stay here, it was easily the best hotel experience I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm and genuine welcome from the host and his family, making us feel right at home immediately. Our bedroom was impressively spacious and kept perfectly clean throughout our visit. The highlight, however, was the spectacular view; waking up to a panoramic vista of both the city and the lake was truly unforgettable. What really set this place apart was the exceptional hospitality. The host took care of us from the beginning until the very end of our stay, going above and beyond by even personally taking us to the bus stop when it was time to leave. 衞生：這方面沒的説，庭院內和房間內都收拾的很乾凈 設施：挺齊全的，該有的都有了 服務：房東一家都很熱情，入住當天提前聯繫我們，加了微信給我們發攻略和位置，因為出租車衹能開到村口，姐姐還騎電車去接我們，幫忙拿了行李，給我們介紹周邊的吃的和玩的，還幫我們聯繫了租車的（租車是為了騎去大理古城哦，不是去洱海，洱海騎行還是建議去廊道里麪騎那種掃碼的共享電動車），退房當天也是房東大叔早起幫我們送行李，非常感謝！而且入住的時候還給我們升級了房間，比我們原來定的要大很多（圖片是我們升級後的房型，帶帷幔的大床房） 位置：才村這個地方還是很方便的，生活氣息比較濃厚，吃喝玩樂都比較齊全，從民宿出發步行3分鐘就能到洱海邊，看日出簡直太方便了，晚上去才村夜市，早上去吃早餐，都是衹需要步行8分鐘，地理位置很優越。 才村夜市上有一個帥氣小哥賣舂雞腳舂芒果，美味爽口而且很乾凈（反正是我見過的最乾淨的了），當晚直接幹掉兩份！

Saya menikmati penginapan yang indah di hotel butik homestay yang menawan ini di Dali, betul-betul di tengah-tengah bandar purba — lokasinya pasti lebih baik! Keluarga yang menjalankannya sangat baik dan mesra. Pemilik malah berjaga hingga lewat untuk mengiringi saya secara peribadi dari tempat menurunkan teksi selepas saya tiba lewat tengah malam, dan menyambut saya dengan sepinggan buah-buahan segar. Saya benar-benar berasa seperti di rumah dalam suasana yang mesra dan penyayang. Komunikasi adalah hebat sepanjang penginapan saya, malah mereka menawarkan saya baucar percuma untuk lawatan bas di sekitar Tasik Erhai. Sangat mengesyorkan tempat yang indah ini!

Beautiful area right by the lake. Yes, a disadvantage being remote from the city areas (not walkable), but if you want to enjoy the serenity of waking up right by the lake, this is a great choice! I loved how our first-floor room had a view of the lake - very close by! Also, you can see the sunrise from this side of the lake! Very peaceful in the mornings. We coordinated with the guesthouse via Wechat beforehand, and they even helped arrange a complimentary pickup with a driver from the train station (since we were staying 3 nights). Later, we also arranged a full day with the driver to drive down Haidong (east side) from Shuanglang ancient town and southward, which was worth it, since otherwise it'd be hard to get to those locations. Cars cannot come to the guesthouse area, so the guesthouse drove a little cart to pick us and our luggage up; they also helped us when we departed. Didi from this area (from a spot ~100-200m away) takes a bit of time for the drivers to come in, but not too long. The breakfast was lightly spicy mi xian noodles, served by some aunties, with condiments like pickled vegetables, also corn, hard-boiled eggs, and banana available. I would also recommend taking time to bike along the lake - it seems there's an option to rent one for 20RMB somewhere but I couldn't find the location. A more convenient option (good for shorter bike rides) are the many shared bikes that can be scanned along the lake. If you go northward by foot or bike along the lake, there are many other guesthouses and nice cafes (including some very popular, picture-perfect wang hong cafes), along with some green fields that are nice to check out. Behind the guesthouse is a small village area; we walked here and got a late lunch on one of the days, but there doesn't seem to be as many options. Traveled here with my mom, and we were quite satisfied. I feel that relaxing inside the hotel and nearby is already pretty nice. Great stay with helpful staff!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lily Pad Hostel and would happily return. It offers excellent value for money and is a great base for exploring Dali. The hostel is in a good location, just a little outside the main town. It’s an easy walk, although you do need to cross some busy roads, which could be a little challenging if you’re travelling with small children. The room was clean, and the bed sheets were spotless. We also had a lovely view from the landing. There were some friendly resident bunnies wandering around, and we enjoyed having a ping pong table to use during our stay. The only minor downside was that the shower temperature was a little inconsistent, switching between hot and cold. Aside from that, we were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay. We would thoroughly recommend Lily Pad Hostel to anyone visiting Dali and would definitely stay here again.

Upon checked in to my room, I noticed that the lock of the bathroom (inside the room) is broken and that means the door can't be closed at all. With six people sharing the room, I was uncomfortable doing my business/taking a shower without the needed privacy. The light in my bed was also broken. I asked for a different room but the reception said there was no other room available, so they let me moved to another bed with a functional light in the same room instead.Thanks for that. As for the toilet, I had to go to the backyard and use the common one. But that's ok. The lobby area is very messy full of people's personal stuff, so it looks nothing like the advertised photos. They offer free laundry which is appreciated but the clothes hanging area was next to the cats house and the house blows the air smell of cat poops directly to the area. This makes the whole area as well as the clothes smelly. Overall the place has great potential. It just needs some minor repairs and regular cleaning and organising.

The Large Studio was excellent and noticeably better than the other rooms. Warm, spacious, beautifully designed and even better than the photos. Bathroom and facilities were outstanding, and the temperature was comfortable during winter. Wi-Fi worked well and staff were very kind and helpful. Location is convenient with shops nearby and a short walk to the centre. If staying in winter, I would strongly recommend booking the Studio, as it was significantly more comfortable . Scoring note: Rated using my 10-point system covering cleanliness, sleep, location, value, bathroom, staff, facilities accuracy, Wi-Fi/work, atmosphere, and stay-again factor. Phòng không lớn nhưng sạch sẽ, trang thiết bị tự động hiện đại. Nằm n*** trục đường chính của thành cổ Đại Lý. Mình ở tầng trệt nhưng lên lầu tham quan thì view mấy phòng trên lầu khá đẹp. Có mấy cây đào trước nhà đi trúng mùa hoa chắc ngắm mê luôn. Trước khi đi mình check map thấy ở đường lớn nên nghĩ xe sẽ vô tận nơi đón đc. Nhưng tới nơi mới biết xe hơi chỉ đc chạy vô buổi tối, còn buổi sáng cấm xe, chỉ có xe máy, xe đạp mới đi đc thôi nên mỗi lần đi đâu phải lết bộ ra đường lớn hơi cực, đây là điểm trừ lớn nhất các bạn nên cân nhắc. Ngoài ra thì ông chủ khá nhiệt tình, mình check in lúc 1h sáng ổng đợi mà ngủ quên luôn làm tưởng bị nhốt ngoài cửa rồi
