The owners are so attentive, friendly and helpful - provided local guide and recommendations upon check-in. They even gave souvenirs upon check-out, very lovely! Room is spacious and super clean! location is hidden from the main road, but a 10 mins walking distance to the old town. Overall, definitely recommended.

Rumah itu terletak berhampiran Pintu Selatan 2, di dalam bandar purba. Berjalan keluar dari pintu, anda akan menemui jalan-jalan bandar purba, menjadikannya mudah untuk menerokai bandar, mencari makanan yang lazat dan mencari keperluan harian. Pemiliknya sangat ramah dan membantu. Apabila kami tiba di rumah tamu, dia bersedia membantu kami membawa bagasi kami ke tempat penginapan kami. Pemiliknya juga sangat baik, menyambut kami dengan senyuman setiap hari ketika kami pergi dan kembali. Walaupun cuaca agak tidak mesra hari ini, penginapan ini masih sangat menyeronokkan. Saya sangat mengesyorkannya.

I’ve been to many holidays and I rarely leave reviews, but this is the best accommodation I’ve stayed in so far. The service was impeccable and cannot be compared to other accommodations. There was 6 of us and 4 of us stayed in a family room, while the other 2 stayed in a couple room. There was enough space for all our big luggages. Both rooms were clean, neat and great. The views were amazing as well. We stayed in the winter, but the room heater was strong and the bed had a heating function too. The cleaner cleans the room everyday and tops up all the water, toothbrush etc. The surrounding area near the homestay is good, with a tourist attraction just 5 minutes away on foot. It’s very easy to call a DiDi near the homestay, and it is located in a very convenient district. The owners were very nice, they gave us fruits upon arrival and even topped up our rooms with water as the air was very dry. The owner even brought us to a nearby restaurant and the food was so good, my family and I went back twice. Although there was no elevator, but the service was extremely good at the homestay and the owners helped us with all our baggages. As we are foreigners, the staff recommended food and visiting places in Dali, and went above and beyond by helping us to book a car for our day trip around Erhai Lake at a reasonable cost. Even after our stay, they helped us to charter a car to Lijiang as well. I highly recommend this homestay. The experience I had during my time here has left a very positive experience on our trip to Yunnan. The owners are very friendly and are willing to help you with any queries you have. I will make sure to recommend this homestay to my acquaintances and if I ever visit Dali in the future I would definitely book this homestay again! I had an absolutely incredible stay here, it was easily the best hotel experience I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm and genuine welcome from the host and his family, making us feel right at home immediately. Our bedroom was impressively spacious and kept perfectly clean throughout our visit. The highlight, however, was the spectacular view; waking up to a panoramic vista of both the city and the lake was truly unforgettable. What really set this place apart was the exceptional hospitality. The host took care of us from the beginning until the very end of our stay, going above and beyond by even personally taking us to the bus stop when it was time to leave. 衞生：這方面沒的説，庭院內和房間內都收拾的很乾凈 設施：挺齊全的，該有的都有了 服務：房東一家都很熱情，入住當天提前聯繫我們，加了微信給我們發攻略和位置，因為出租車衹能開到村口，姐姐還騎電車去接我們，幫忙拿了行李，給我們介紹周邊的吃的和玩的，還幫我們聯繫了租車的（租車是為了騎去大理古城哦，不是去洱海，洱海騎行還是建議去廊道里麪騎那種掃碼的共享電動車），退房當天也是房東大叔早起幫我們送行李，非常感謝！而且入住的時候還給我們升級了房間，比我們原來定的要大很多（圖片是我們升級後的房型，帶帷幔的大床房） 位置：才村這個地方還是很方便的，生活氣息比較濃厚，吃喝玩樂都比較齊全，從民宿出發步行3分鐘就能到洱海邊，看日出簡直太方便了，晚上去才村夜市，早上去吃早餐，都是衹需要步行8分鐘，地理位置很優越。 才村夜市上有一個帥氣小哥賣舂雞腳舂芒果，美味爽口而且很乾凈（反正是我見過的最乾淨的了），當晚直接幹掉兩份！

I booked this place after reading the reviews about the above and beyond service, and the connection that guests were able to make with the owner of the accommodation. When there are hundreds of hotels to choose from, I value getting to know the humans behind a business. Unfortunately during my stay the main owner whom the reviews refer to, was away. The staff that was in place was helpful, but I felt gave me the one simplest solution to any question I had, rather than the best possible solution, or even options, for what I needed help with. I probably had an anomaly of an experience. The room was spacious and fairly clean. There was a bathroom window in the room that had no blinds or curtains, and the courtyard lights would stream into the room past 10pm, which meant that the room was not completely dark. I included a photo - the light is a lot more obvious and pervasive in a dark room. I had to sleep with an eye mask on, which thankfully, I had. I would suggest to the owners to put a curtain or some blinds up in the bathroom window. I would still recommend this hotel for its quiet location and proximity to the ancient city (8-10yuan Didi ride). Hopefully you'll have the lady boss around during your stay.

Beautiful area right by the lake. Yes, a disadvantage being remote from the city areas (not walkable), but if you want to enjoy the serenity of waking up right by the lake, this is a great choice! I loved how our first-floor room had a view of the lake - very close by! Also, you can see the sunrise from this side of the lake! Very peaceful in the mornings. We coordinated with the guesthouse via Wechat beforehand, and they even helped arrange a complimentary pickup with a driver from the train station (since we were staying 3 nights). Later, we also arranged a full day with the driver to drive down Haidong (east side) from Shuanglang ancient town and southward, which was worth it, since otherwise it'd be hard to get to those locations. Cars cannot come to the guesthouse area, so the guesthouse drove a little cart to pick us and our luggage up; they also helped us when we departed. Didi from this area (from a spot ~100-200m away) takes a bit of time for the drivers to come in, but not too long. The breakfast was lightly spicy mi xian noodles, served by some aunties, with condiments like pickled vegetables, also corn, hard-boiled eggs, and banana available. I would also recommend taking time to bike along the lake - it seems there's an option to rent one for 20RMB somewhere but I couldn't find the location. A more convenient option (good for shorter bike rides) are the many shared bikes that can be scanned along the lake. If you go northward by foot or bike along the lake, there are many other guesthouses and nice cafes (including some very popular, picture-perfect wang hong cafes), along with some green fields that are nice to check out. Behind the guesthouse is a small village area; we walked here and got a late lunch on one of the days, but there doesn't seem to be as many options. Traveled here with my mom, and we were quite satisfied. I feel that relaxing inside the hotel and nearby is already pretty nice. Great stay with helpful staff!

We like the location as it is just a 5-minute walk from the Dali railway station with other amenities like good restaurants and shops nearby. Clean, modern renovated family room and we like the hi-tech toilet/shower area which has consistent water flow, temperature and pressure. A true value-for-money as quality is not compromised. Strongly recommended for travellers who prefer to be near the Dali railway station whether you are heading to Lijiang, Shangri-La or Kunming after 2-3 nights in Dali ancient city, Lixiangbang or Shuanglang in Dali. Keep it up and keep smiling too, Mr Dong.

Excellent hostel, I really enjoyed my stay! Really nice and helpful staff with English-speakers. The buildings are in the traditional local style but with modern furnishings - stylish and cosy with nice common areas indoor and outdoor. Excellent location in the ancient town at the edge near the South Gate down an alleyway off a main pedestrian road area with lots of shops and restaurants. It took about an hour to get there by bus number 4 from Dali city railway station. It was about a ten minute walk from the bus stop with some cobblestone roads once you get to the ancient town which can be a bit rough with suitcases. The staff gave me suggestion for where to eat locally and sent details via WeChat. The hostel runs activities and does lunch and dinner for 20 yuan which you can sign up for and is a nice way to meet other guests. All the other guests were Chinese so there was a language barrier for me but we still had some nice chats through translator or if they spoke English. The female 8-bed room was nice and spacious with large windows and it was cleaned regularly. Beds were comfortable and you have to make them yourself. There are lockers which your key card opens. The toilet is open with glass sliding doors so you can hear noise, but it was clean and I liked the western style toilet and that the shower a sink and toilet were all separate for convenience. You can hear the music playing from the nearby shops on repeat for most of the day but it didn’t sound too bad and I got used to it. They offer earplugs and toothbrush at the front desk - I’m glad I had earplugs. There is a laundry area which is free to use with washing machines and washing powder and dryers and plenty of space to hang clothes. There’s also a cafe in the main lobby/common area and it’s a good place to do work with power sockets. And there’s free filtered water and a fridge you can use.  I’d definitely come back!

Phòng không lớn nhưng sạch sẽ, trang thiết bị tự động hiện đại. Nằm n*** trục đường chính của thành cổ Đại Lý. Mình ở tầng trệt nhưng lên lầu tham quan thì view mấy phòng trên lầu khá đẹp. Có mấy cây đào trước nhà đi trúng mùa hoa chắc ngắm mê luôn. Trước khi đi mình check map thấy ở đường lớn nên nghĩ xe sẽ vô tận nơi đón đc. Nhưng tới nơi mới biết xe hơi chỉ đc chạy vô buổi tối, còn buổi sáng cấm xe, chỉ có xe máy, xe đạp mới đi đc thôi nên mỗi lần đi đâu phải lết bộ ra đường lớn hơi cực, đây là điểm trừ lớn nhất các bạn nên cân nhắc. Ngoài ra thì ông chủ khá nhiệt tình, mình check in lúc 1h sáng ổng đợi mà ngủ quên luôn làm tưởng bị nhốt ngoài cửa rồi
