B&B ini terletak berhampiran Pintu Barat Bandar Lama, lokasi yang hebat! Ia terletak beberapa minit berjalan kaki ke Bandar Lama, namun cukup tenang untuk mengelakkan kesibukan. Ia juga dekat dengan Jalan March, jadi saya bangun awal dan pergi ke Pasar Gerbang Utara dengan ibu bapa saya. Pasar pagi kumpulan etnik Bai penuh dengan kehidupan! Hos kami, Saudara Wang, mesra dan mesra, responsif, malah memberi kami buah-buahan segar percuma semasa daftar masuk. Bilik itu bersih, peralatan tempat tidur selesa, dan kami tidur dengan lena! Bilik mandi juga bersih, dengan banyak air panas. Dia juga meminta kami membawa beberapa botol air mineral untuk perjalanan kami. Makanan ringan turut disediakan. Pendek kata, jika anda memerlukan apa-apa, sila berasa bebas untuk meminta Abang Wang untuk sebarang cadangan. Oleh kerana ramai orang, dia cadangkan tambah dua penyangkut tambahan di dalam bilik. PPengguna TetamuWe highly recommend this hotel. When we first arrived we were greeted by whom I presume to be the owner of the hotel. He helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room personally. Understanding that we know limited Chinese, he took the time to slowly show us the features of the room - including an automated voice command tool and a projector for watching movies. He also learned we have an early check out and spent time using WeChat to share places where we can find breakfast early in the morning. As for the hotel room itself, it's specious, modern, and well equipped. The facilities are modern and very well-kept. The location is perfect for us - it's a short 5 minute walk from the main tourist area of Dali Old Town - this means the area had more locals, quieter, and more authentic. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again next time we visit Dali.

YYuki Serene AngI had an extremely enjoyable stay at Mr Ma’s accommodation. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with genuine warmth and sincere hospitality. Throughout our stay, he assisted us with every need and often went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable. We loved our time here so much that we extended our stay to a total of six nights!
We were deeply touched by his generosity and the thoughtfulness he showed every single day. Each morning, he checked in on us, asked if we had slept well, and made sure we had everything we needed. This is a family-run accommodation, and every member of the Ma family was friendly, warm, and welcoming. Mr Ma even took special care to accommodate my daughter’s cat allergy by keeping their cats away from the common areas — a gesture we truly appreciated.
One of the highlights of our stay was the meaningful conversations we shared with the family. We exchanged stories about our respective countries, shared insights about our cultures, and learned so much from one another. These heartfelt chats made our stay feel even more personal, and we genuinely enjoyed connecting on a deeper level beyond the usual host–guest interactions.
The room facilities were excellent — warm blankets, electric heating pads, newly installed air-conditioners, towels, a hair dryer, and a kettle. And every morning, we were greeted with a comforting bowl of noodles lovingly prepared by Mrs Ma — such a heartwarming way to start the day.
The location is ideal as well: close to the bustling streets and ancient town, with the mountains and lake just nearby. We enjoyed sitting on the top-floor balcony in the cool, crisp morning air, taking in the peaceful mountain views. Mrs Ma also shared wonderful food recommendations, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed.
During our stay, we met international travellers from France, and the Ma family communicated effortlessly using translation apps. It’s clear they have plenty of experience hosting guests from around the world. We also made a short trip to Lijiang, arranged through Mr Ma’s recommendation — a comfortable 9-seater car that picked us up directly from the accommodation and dropped us off at our next destination.
I highly, highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area. I am deeply grateful for the kindness and warmth shown to us throughout our stay — right up until the moment we left, when Mr Ma personally helped us with our luggage.
Before you leave, be sure to take a photo with the family, and don’t miss the chance to chat with Mr Ma’s son, who is very eager to practise English with travellers.

我们深深被马先生的慷慨与体贴打动。他每天都会关心我们的状况，早上问我们睡得好不好，确认我们是否还需要任何东西。这是一家家庭式经营的民宿，马家每一位成员都非常友善、热情、亲切。为了照顾我女儿对猫过敏的情况，马先生还特意将自家猫咪隔离在公共区域之外——这一点我们非常感激。
其中一个最难忘的地方，是我们与马家人之间那些富有意义的交流。我们分享彼此的国家故事、交换文化见闻，也从对方身上学到了很多。这些真诚的交谈让我们的住宿不再只是简单的旅途，而是一次真正走进彼此生活、情感交流的体验。
房间的设施也非常优秀——温暖的毯子、电热毯、新安装的空调、毛巾、吹风机和热水壶一应俱全。每天早上，马太太都会为我们准备一碗热腾腾、充满心意的面，让我们在温暖中开始美好的一天。
地理位置也非常方便：靠近苍山,三月街 ,大里古城，耳海，周围就是山景与湖景。我们特别喜欢每天清晨坐在顶楼阳台，吹着清凉的晨风，欣赏宁静的山景。马太太还推荐了几家美食，我们都吃得非常满意。
在这里，我们还遇到了来自法国的旅客，马家人通过翻译软件和他们沟通毫无障碍，可见他们接待国际旅客的经验十分丰富。我们也根据马先生的推荐去了丽江——是宽敞舒适的九座车，从民宿直接接送，非常方便。
我真心、强烈地推荐这家民宿给前来旅行的朋友们。我非常感谢他们在我们整个旅程中给予的善意与温暖，甚至直到离开的那一刻，马先生仍亲自帮我们搬运行李。
离开前一定要和马家人合照一张，也千万别错过和马先生儿子聊天的机会——他非常积极地想和旅客练习英文。

The room features large windows with a beautiful lake view, allowing guests to enjoy the scenery directly from the room. The bed is very comfortable, and there is a soft, cozy chair perfectly placed for relaxing and enjoying the view indoors. The windows can be opened and are fitted with mosquito screens, providing fresh air without inconvenience.
In front of the accommodation, the lakeside walkway has no railing, creating an open, natural view that makes the scenery even more beautiful and immersive. The bathroom is equipped with a heater, which is a thoughtful and comfortable feature, especially during cooler weather.
The property is located within a short walking distance from the DiDi pick-up and drop-off point. There are also cafés and bicycle rental shops nearby, adding convenience without making the area feel overcrowded or noisy.
Closer to the check‑in date, guests receive a message asking them to add the hotel’s WeChat account, where the staff will explain the meeting point for pick‑up, as external vehicles are not allowed to enter the ecological corridor. This process is well managed and easy to follow.
Overall, this hotel offers excellent hospitality, a comfortable room, beautiful lake views, and a well-balanced location, making it a great choice for a relaxing and memorable stay.

RRubyT.nzsgI booked this place after reading the reviews about the above and beyond service, and the connection that guests were able to make with the owner of the accommodation. When there are hundreds of hotels to choose from, I value getting to know the humans behind a business. Unfortunately during my stay the main owner whom the reviews refer to, was away. The staff that was in place was helpful, but I felt gave me the one simplest solution to any question I had, rather than the best possible solution, or even options, for what I needed help with. I probably had an anomaly of an experience. The room was spacious and fairly clean. There was a bathroom window in the room that had no blinds or curtains, and the courtyard lights would stream into the room past 10pm, which meant that the room was not completely dark. I included a photo - the light is a lot more obvious and pervasive in a dark room. I had to sleep with an eye mask on, which thankfully, I had. I would suggest to the owners to put a curtain or some blinds up in the bathroom window. I would still recommend this hotel for its quiet location and proximity to the ancient city (8-10yuan Didi ride). Hopefully you'll have the lady boss around during your stay.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel is just 3 km from Dali Railway Station.If you are using the train,this hotel is one of the best options. I booked a room facing the lake. The view is awesome. There is a lift. The room and toilet are clean. There are basic amenities like body shower, toothbrush,hair shampoo,comb, mineral water,kettle and tv provided.
I get free breakfast. They serve plain porridge with condiments, boiled egg,steam corn and sweet potatoes,bread and buns,fresh fruits and warm soy milk.The food is yummy and delicious.
Didi is available all the time and easy to assess from the hotel.You may also be greeted by fresh fruit sellers outside the hotel.We do buy some fresh grapes.
The hotel reception Ms Xiao Yang is very friendly and helpful.She helped to book Didi to Muslim restaurant for us.We also asked her for help to order a packed lunch because it was raining and we couldn't get out. Despite her work shift ending,she still waited for us to make sure we were safely back to the railway station. I hope her boss will recognise the hospitality she showed.
I recommend this hotel to tourists. You will not hear the noise outside the hotel during your stay.
Hopefully the management can put the hotel name signboard in english so it is easier for tourists to book Didi. Overall I was satisfied with the room and the warm hospitality the hotel provides.
