Hotel Romantik di Dali

A very cosy hotel with a beautiful garden inside. The staff is ready to answer any question, we stayed only for one night, but the accommodation was as comfortable as possible! There is an option not early breakfast, it is very convenient, as we like to sleep😁 Besides, there are a lot of cats and dogs in the hotel, it's extremely cute🥹

This was the perfect start to our first trip to China — the hotel was right beside erhai lake and the views from the hotel cafe and the rooms were fantastic. The rooms were very clean and facilities modern and good (particularly the hotel cafe which serves coffee (each guest can redeem 1x coffee and unlimited cornetto ice creams and snacks from the cafe). It is also a ~6 minute walk away from a family-run bicycle shop where tourists can rent a bike from (20 元 for a full day) (there are rent-as-you-go bikes along the area too but they require a Chinese ID card in order for you to book). The service was also excellent and all the staff were very attentive. Each time we returned to the hotel, the staff would greet us with an option to get a bowl of rice noodles (mi xian 米线） or chinese dessert, depending on what time we arrived. There were also free flow fruits (some small apple-like fruit and cherry tomatoes) in the hotel lobby that was stocked through the day. Fantastic stay. We will definitely return if we come back to the area. (We had entered another hotel further down the same stretch for a coffee and that other hotel’s coffee and cleanliness paled in comparison; made us very thankful that we had booked this hotel instead). 10/10!

We stayed with Sister An at Dali Old City Sushe Boutique Inn for 4 nights. Her comfortable inn offered a fantastic mix of home and resort, providing a relaxing retreat after the busyness and urbanity of Kunming. Our 6-year-old daughter absolutely loved the property. The fish in the central pool, the cozy coffee shop lobby, the swinging pavilion across the glass bridge, and the upstairs mountain view deck kept her thoroughly entertained. Sister An’s inn was just perfect. Every morning started with a wonderful breakfast of eggs, tea eggs, free-flow coffee and tea, a variety of buns, millet porridge, and pickles. Furthermore, Sister An provided timely advice on transport, sightseeing, and local holidays. From the moment we booked a few days before our arrival, Sister An maintained constant communication via WeChat and a translation app to coordinate our arrival time. She even sent a complimentary driver to pick us up at the train station, which sat about a 30-minute drive from the hotel's central location in Dali Old Town. She also responded within minutes whenever we had a question throughout our stay. She is the true gem of this hotel. Some highlights of our stay included: The Public Areas: Excellent spaces, including the upstairs view decks. Convenient Amenities: Free washing facilities (essential for our month-long voyage with a party of four), a microwave, a mini-fridge, and ample closet space. The Suite Layout: The divided rooms gave our brother his own private space, complete with a sliding glass door, desk, and privacy curtain. The Bathroom: A powerful, beautifully hot shower with both handheld and rain options. Location & Value: An economical price for a very central location close to all the sights and restaurants of Dali Ancient Town. Bonus: Sister An whips up a very delicious latte! Because we ran out of time to do everything we wanted in Dali, we will definitely be back—and we will absolutely stay at this hotel again!

We stayed at Lishe seaview resort hotel for 2 nights. The hotel upgraded us to a two-room apartment which I did not expect! The apartment had spectacular view of Erhai in the living room and master bedroom. I had the foresight of having one free and easy day and we pretty much stayed in most of the time to soak in the view. The staff service was amazing. The team reached out to me via trip.com the day before we check in (fantastic initiative) as overseas visitors like me are not familiar with the WeChat usage. When we arrive, the staff were on standby to receive us and bring us to the apartment as we got there via our own driver. The hotel sent nightly desert (white fungus) to our apartment. One important aspect of the hotel is the delicious and wide spread of breakfast. The breaky was on the highest floor offering great views of Erhai, and the lady attendant there was polite, cheerful and has great service. When we checked, the hotel staff came to the apartment and send us to the car. They also presented a farewell bag of goodies - including rose Chinese cakes (which were super delicious!), tea and sweets. It was an awfully thoughtful gesture. I had the rose Chinese cake during breaky and loved them. So I was super happy to find them in the farewell gift. I would strongly recommend a stay here if you are in Dali. Fellow Singaporeans- you would love this place! I think even if I did not get the upgrade, I would have loved the view too. Just keep one day of doing nothing and enjoy the beautiful view and the hotel hospitality. The hotel staff were service oriented, always smiling, polite and helpful. I mean every staff we encountered, even the cleaning staff! This hotel was a great highlight of our Dali stay. I would definitely come back to stay at Lishe when next back to Dali.

This guesthouse is well maintained and run and has a pleasant and restful ambiance. The thing that stood out for me at this guesthouse was the service. Special mention to the young guy at reception by the name of Liu. He helped me in three ways in the same number of days I was there. Firstly, he picked me up on his scooter from an unknown spot in the area which the Didi driver had dropped me. Secondly, he helped me order a takeaway and thirdly. he helped me contact the driver whose car I had left my phone! This was no easy task. Apart from his resourcefulness and problem solving skills, he has the patience of a saint, answering my questions with humour and a smile. It was very assuring to have such support for a person like me who does not speak the local language.

Overall: Amazing stay for our Honeymoon, look no further!! The location was just lovely - facing to the Lake, bathtub was our favourite ritual in the evening after a long day of walking and sightseeing. The hospitality you received from the hotel owner was heartfelt, they really strived for the best and gave us the sweetest gift- the sweet memories of Dali to bring home together, with the wonderful rose petals pastry. We absolutely loved our stay at Shanyuyishe Boutique B&B in Dali Ancient City. The location was perfect for us — tucked away in a peaceful corner near Dali Ancient City, yet only a short walk to the shops, cafés, and attractions. What truly made the stay special was the hospitality. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, helping us with our luggage, preparing breakfast every morning, and always making sure we were comfortable. The breakfast was simple but delicious, especially the rice noodles, which we looked forward to each morning. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We especially loved the beautiful courtyard and the overall peaceful atmosphere. A couple of things to note for families and travellers with larger luggage. The beautiful courtyard has a koi pond running through parts of it, which adds to the charm, but I was constantly keeping an eye on my kids as I was worried they might accidentally fall in. Thankfully, nothing happened, but it’s something parents with young children may want to be aware of. Another consideration is luggage. Vehicles can stop near the property, but you’ll still need to carry your luggage across parts of the courtyard. If you’re staying on Levels 2 or 3, there is no lift, so luggage has to be carried up manually. The owner was kind enough to help us, but it’s still worth considering if you’re travelling with multiple large suitcases. For our family room, one small downside was that although the room was very spacious, there was only one air-conditioner serving the entire unit. The smaller bedroom felt a little stuffy and warm at night. That said, the owner was very responsive and quickly provided us with a fan the next day, which made a huge difference and solved the issue for us. Overall, the warmth of the host, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, and peaceful setting far outweighed these minor inconveniences. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy and authentic stay in Dali. ❤️🏔️✨

從雞足山回大理，臨時選擇入住到金梭島。來大理很多次了，第一次登島，這次酒店確是最滿意的一次。房間海景無敵，躺在床上就能看海看朝霞，設施非常智能，衞生也很乾凈。性價比超高！ 海景餐廳的早餐也是小驚喜。

環境很好，老闆免費給我們升級到了大理親水房，住了兩天真的特別美，在陽台看落日真的很愜意，聖託公館算是雙廊看日落最美的地方了，送的旅拍攝影師很耐心，人也很好，拍的很好看，每晚還會送晚安點心，海東的風景騎個小電動真的很美，下次去還會住的

Truly beyond my expectations This hotel genuinely exceeded every expectation I had. The service was not just good the staff went above and beyond in ways that I honestly did not expect, even from a five-star hotel. Every single staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, attentive and meticulous. You can really feel that they care about the little details and the overall guest experience. One thing that really amazed me was the cleanliness and attention to detail in the room. The shower area was spotless every single time we returned to the hotel. Even when there were water marks and spots on the shower taps and head before we left the room, we would come back to find everything sparkling clean again. It was such a small detail, but it showed just how much effort the housekeeping team puts into maintaining the room. Honestly, this is the kind of attention to detail that you don’t even always expect from a five-star hotel. What impressed me even more was how thoughtfully they considered the needs of travellers. Knowing that guests would likely spend the entire day walking and exploring Dali, the hotel thoughtfully prepared soaking basins for guests to soak their legs after a long day. After hours of walking, coming back to the hotel and having this little comfort prepared for us was such a lovely touch. It showed that they weren’t simply providing a room, they were thinking about the entire experience of their guests. The food and drinks were another pleasant surprise. Breakfast had a wonderful variety, including their homemade yoghurt and soy milk, which were both delicious. During lunchtime, they also provided coffee and tea such a thoughtful touch when you’re out exploring for the day. And dinner was another highlight. Their homemade rose vinegar and wine were such unexpected and memorable touches. Everything felt carefully prepared and had a sense of warmth and authenticity that you don’t often find in hotels. What I appreciated most was the attention to detail throughout the entire stay. From the spotless room, thoughtful amenities and food, to the genuinely warm service, you could tell that the team truly cares about their guests. After travelling and staying in different hotels, I can honestly say this stay left a very strong impression on me. The combination of exceptional service, meticulous cleanliness, thoughtful details, wonderful food and genuinely friendly staff made this hotel stand out far beyond what I expected. If I ever return to Dali, I wouldn’t even need to think twice about where to stay. This would be my first choice, without hesitation. You truly went above and beyond. ❤️ 一次真正超出期待的入住体验 这次在大理入住这家酒店，真的让我非常惊喜。 酒店的服务完全超出了我的预期。每一位工作人员都非常亲切、热情，而且特别细心。最让我感动的是，他们对客人的照顾不是停留在“做好本职工作”，而是真的会去观察和理解客人的需求，把很多细节都提前想到了。 首先必须夸一下酒店的卫生和客房细节。 房间每天都保持得非常干净，尤其是浴室，真的让我印象深刻。前一天离开房间的时候，淋浴头和水龙头上明明还有一些水渍和水印，但我们每次回到酒店，看到的都是已经擦拭得闪闪发亮的淋浴头和水龙头，干净到几乎看不到一点痕迹。 这种程度的细致，说实话，甚至不是每一家五星级酒店都能做到。 另外一个让我觉得特别贴心的地方，是酒店真的有站在旅客的角度去想。 大理旅行每天走路的时间非常长，走一整天下来腿真的会很累。酒店竟然还提前准备了泡脚盆，让客人晚上回来可以泡泡腿、放松一下。这个细节真的让我觉得很暖心。因为这已经不只是“提供一个房间”了，而是在认真考虑客人整个旅程中的体验。 早餐也非常丰富，选择很多，而且还有酒店自制的酸奶和豆浆，都很好喝。中午还有咖啡和茶可以享用，让人觉得非常舒服、贴心。 晚餐同样让我有惊喜，酒店还有自制的玫瑰醋自制葡萄酒。这些小小的细节其实非常难得，也让整个入住体验多了一份温度和自己的特色。 整趟入住下来，我最深的感受就是：这家酒店真的很用心。 从房间的卫生、工作人员的态度，到餐饮、泡脚盆这些看似不起眼的小细节，每一样都能感受到他们是在认真对待客人，而不是单纯把服务流程做完而已。 这次入住让我觉得，酒店真正厉害的地方并不只是硬件，而是愿意站在客人的角度，把很多客人甚至没有开口说出来的需求都提前想到了。 如果以后还有机会再来大理，我完全不会需要考虑住哪一家酒店。 这里一定会是我的第一选择。 非常感谢酒店的每一位工作人员，让我们这次的大理之旅多了一份舒适、放松和温暖。这样的服务，真的值得五星好评！❤️
