"I loved this place, especially my booked room. The room is really comfortable and the view is amazing (You can see the Erhai Lake from your own balcony). I really enjoyed sitting at the balcony and watched the view quietly. Unfortunately, there is no elevator at the hotel, but the front desk guy will help you with the luggages. The hotel is located 10-min away from the railway station, but a bit far from the tourist attractions. You will have to take Didi to visit the Three pagodas or the ancient town."

"Honestly one of the best stays I’ve ever had, and what made it so special was really the people here. I came as a solo traveller, but I never once felt alone. I unfortunately didn’t get the names of the two hosts who took care of me during my stay, but I really hope they get the recognition they deserve. 🥹 They took such incredibly good care of me and were always looking out for me. What touched me the most was that none of it ever felt like they were simply being hospitable because it was their job. Their kindness felt so genuine and personal, and I could really feel that they cared and wanted to make sure I was okay. Being there alone, that meant so much to me. They made me feel safe, cared for and honestly, almost like I was being looked after by family. And it wasn’t just the two of them — the entire team deserves so much recognition. There is so much warmth in the way everyone treats their guests, and I’ve genuinely never experienced hospitality on this level before. The room itself was amazing too. Everything was incredibly clean, the bathroom was spotless, and the bed was SO comfortable. I’ve stayed in many hotels, but I genuinely had some of the best sleep here. Breakfast every morning was another highlight. Everything tasted so comforting and homemade, almost like it was made with love. I still think about and miss the 米线 they prepared for me 😭 The dining spaces were so cosy and homey, the drinks and minibar were great, and even the two dogs made the whole place feel that much more like home. 🥹🤍 I came here expecting a nice place to stay, but I left feeling like I had found a little home away from home. The beautiful rooms and facilities are one thing, but it’s the people that I’ll remember the most. To the two hosts who looked after me and the entire team — thank you for making a solo traveller feel so incredibly cared for. You made this stay so much more special than you probably realise. Without a doubt, one of the best stays and some of the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced. I would come back in a heartbeat. 🤍"

"We stayed in this hotel for 11 nights with my family and the hotel staff did their best to make our stay unforgettable! Dax and whole team were very helpful because no one of us speaks Chinese and we faced all kind of troubles in our trip but the staff was always helping us, seriously comparing to other countries we visited here they were most welcome and helpful! Huge thanks to the team! The hotel is also very clean and nice and we saw a lot in our China trips, Mercure hotel really keeps high standards ! We specially liked the surroundings there and the park near!"

"Very good location and beautiful Er Hai view on 9th floor. Bus stop just right in front of hotel main entrance. Many restaurants just crossing the road from hotel. Walking distance to many attractions. Very value for money."

Saya tidak mahu tinggal berhampiran bandar purba; Sebaliknya, saya mahu berada berhampiran dengan Koridor Erhai tanpa membayar penginapan yang terlalu mahal di Shuanglang, jadi tempat ini berfungsi dengan baik untuk saya. "Great experience at this hotel. Hotel is very clean and offers great view of Erhai. Erhai is easily accessible via the backgate. Owner is very friendly, helpful and responsive. Service is excellent. He provided clear guide for us to reach the hotel. He offered to pick us up from the main road and even helped us with our luggage up and down the stairs. He also gave us free upgrade to a bigger room. It was raining the day we left, the owner ensured we had already booked didi before driving us and our luggage to the main road. Highly recommend this hotel 👍🏼"

"同一區域中眾多民宿的一個，新裝修剛剛開，硬件總體來説很新。但是作為一個新民宿，提供的服務還有很大提升空間。 幾個建議， 1. 房間內設施還要完善，衞生間毛巾架沒有，也沒有晾衣服的設施。衹能掛在淋浴房架子上。小冰箱也沒有，買了牛奶，水果沒得地方放。浴室北窗雖然貼了膜，但是仍然透光，外面的路燈很亮影響晚上睡覺。需要加個百頁窗簾。馬桶是智能的自動沖洗，但是沖水聲音很響。半夜用會被驚醒。 2.服務上，前台一個小夥子，早飯和打掃衞生一個阿姨。衞生不是每天都打掃，垃圾需要自己倒，衞生紙得主動去討。早飯每天都沒變化，玉米，番薯，米粉，煮雞蛋，豆漿。吃2天基本就厭了。 總之，新民宿有優勢也有許多提升的地方。大理的旺季，還是有很多選擇。"

"Excellent location, but be aware that if you are booking on trip.com, it will not inform you about the obstructed view for floors 1 - 5. To get a good view of that bridge, you must be on floor 6 or 7. The carpet in the room leave a lot to be desired...a lot. The rooms are smaller than they appear in the photos....kudos to the photographer, but I will say that it is very pleasant to have the huge window that gives a kind of expansion to the room. The facilities worked, the area was clean. Also, this is close to Flomis garden, the railway station, the lake, and the airport. If you are a fastidious eater, like me, finding food will be your challenge. But, you can't win them all, can you?! Two nights here was good enough for me. Given the price and the location, I'd say it was a good purchase. The hosts are quite friendly, although not knocking over themselves to be helpful....Ah well, you win some, you lose some :)"
