Cari Hotel 2-Star di Venice

Check in and out was straight forward, the hotel allowed us to leave a luggage with them the day before our check in. Room was clean and there was a good set of tv channels, with sufficient amenities for a night. During check in, the counter staff initiated for us to collect breakfast boxes during our check out as we were leaving early but it was not the case when we eventually checked out; another guy simply said that it was unfortunate with no apology despite the guesthouse offering breakfast boxes to begin with.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Pensione Seguso. The building is full of charm, with a traditional room that felt authentic and suited Venice perfectly. The staff were welcoming throughout my stay, and the location is excellent. It is easy to reach from Venice Santa Lucia station by vaporetto, and from the hotel it is no more than about 20 minutes on foot to most of Venice’s main sights. The only disappointment was the room temperature on arrival. The windows had been left open on a day when the outside temperature was over 30°C, and the room itself was 29.5°C. I closed the windows immediately and turned on the air conditioning, but it still took almost a full day for the room to cool to a comfortable temperature. Opening the windows is not an effective way to cool a room when the outside air is hotter than the desired indoor temperature. I specifically booked a hotel with air conditioning because I do not sleep well in warm rooms, so this was frustrating after a long day of travelling. Overall, I would happily recommend Pensione Seguso for its character, location and friendly service. I would simply suggest ensuring rooms are kept cool with the air conditioning before guests arrive during periods of hot weather.

I stayed at La Pergola for 3 nights and it felt very homey to me, like a student dorm room. It was easy to reach from the Lido SME station, very quiet, my room had plenty of light, a desk to do some work, internet was working properly in the room though I was at the second floor. The bed was comfy, bed linen was clean, the water was warm and shower had pressure, though the shower head had some holes clogged. All the basics are there, coffee in the morning is included, and -despite the fact that the room could use a deep cleaning - I think it was great value for money, much better than expected given the previous reviews. This place will be on my return list in my future travels to Venice.

Location very near to train station, good for us with heavy luggages.  Horrible experience to have to use own room private toilet, which is not in our room, but located at our upper floor… Toilet is extremely small, even for Asian, just wonder how European can fit into this toilet. Ss the toilet is extremely small, the shower curtain will stick to your body all the time while you are showering.  In our room, no toilet available but there is a complete kitchen. However, there isn’t any cooking utensils, cup, plate, or even simple kettle there. Your information about local hotel tax is €2 / pax, but the counter lady was trying to collect €3.50 instead! Very terrible experience and we stopped bathing and plan to bathe only in Milan …

This is a really lovely little hotel. It's small but perfectly formed, and the reception is just down the road at another hotel. It's the perfect place for a short stay of one or two nights, especially since it's really close to the train station. We were very grateful that they let us in at 1am. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the staff were helpful. The breakfasts are really good too, especially when you consider the Italian norm of just espresso and croissants.

Номер был чистым, просторным, но шумоизоляция очень плохая, по утрам слышали громкие и нецензурные разговоры персонала из стран снг. Когда в соседнем номере идут в туалет, ощущение, будто это происходит в твоем номере, стены и двери будто картонные, по ночам слышно как в соседних номерах открывают и закрывают двери. Душевая кабина очень маленькая, к номеру ведет узкая лестница, подыматься с чемоданами очень проблематично. City Tax взяли больше, чем указано в сервисе. Местоположение очень удобное.

Hotel con ottima posizione trovandosi a 200 mt circa dal Ponte di Rialto e quindi comodo per girare a piedi la città e anche vicino alla fermata del battello (Rialto) L'hotel è ”spartano” noi avevamo una tripla; la stanza era piccolina e il bagno non aveva il bidet. Bagno piccolo ma con comodo Box doccia. I letti non erano comodissimi, i materassi credo erano un pochino datati specie quello della ”brandina” che era il terzo letto della stanza.. C'e' la possibilità di fare colazione in hotel al prezzo di 5 Euro a persona che comprende aranciate, un ”paninetto” e un cornetto e delle marmellate e una vaschetta di nutella, poi c'e' la bevanda calda caffè/cappuccino o altro Hotel pulito e personale gentile Nel complesso per la quota pagata direi che per 2/3 notti si può decisamente fare.

Добрый день! В Венеции останавливались на две ночи, выбрали этот отель из-за расположения! И не ошиблись! Мы приехали на жд вокзал, вышли, сразу налево, пять минут и мы на месте! Никаких лестниц по пути, никаких узких улиц запутанных, очень удобно! Нас сразу заселили, комната небольшая, светлая, постель чистая. Туалет и ванная были общие, не в номере.Чистота там на троечку. В остальном, если нужен отель переночевать, подойдёт) Все достопримечательности мы посетили пешком! Всё рядом, Венеция прекрасная!
