I have booked this hotel as the kick-off for our honeymoon. Unfortunately we have contracted COVID and asked the hotel for a good-will cancellation a couple of days before arriving. Unfortunately it seems like Accor/Sofitel prefers a young freshly married couple to travel and visit their Hotel with Covid than to make a good-will postponement of the booking since they declined to cancel the reservation with a reimbursement or postpone it. I would have expected a 5* Hotel to be more flexible towards customers in cases like ours. I approximately spend 60-70 days per year in Hotels for business and will not consider Accor/Sofitel for any future stay.

I just checked out of this hotel today. I loved everything about the hotel from the moment I walked in. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had to park offsite, several blocks away, but they will transfer your luggage to and from the hotel. We had two rooms at the hotel, and we stayed in a family area that had a door off the hallway to both of our rooms. This is perfect if you have need to but your kids in one room and you/spouse in the other. The queen size rooms are not huge, but I found the room to be laid out very well. It really didn’t bother me at all that they are smaller than some of the hotels we stay at in the United States. Our rooms came with breakfast and it was wonderful. The presentation is beautiful. When you walk in it is a buffet but you can also order off the menu I suggest ordering the French toast. One of the best things about this hotel is air conditioning !!!! I can’t express enough how important it is when it is 95 degrees Fahrenheit outside. The air conditioner did not keep the room at a cool, 71 to 72° but very close. I hope to return to Strasbourg in the future, and I certainly will stay at Maison Rouge again.

The welcome at reception was very warm. The receptionist requested that I write my full credit card details, including CVV, on the registration form - I declined and after some discussion 200 euros in cash was accepted - it seems that they do not currently have a way of reserving electronically. The hotel is well located and very nicely appointed; the rooms are stylishly furnished with an excellent bathroom - however my wife was unable to locate a hair dryer. We had intended to eat at the hotel but was advised (at our Sunday afternoon arrival) that the restaurant only opens at the weekend (in other words Friday & Saturday only!!). The recommended nearby restaurant (L'Oignon) was very good. BEWARE of EXTRAS: a rather scant continental breakfast is on offer but costs extra at an extraordinary 30 euros - better to go out and find somewhere to eat breakfast locally. Overnight parking cost was (in my opinion) an outrageous 40 euros.

Super nettes Personal überall, alles recht stylish. Straßenbahnhaltestelle direkt vor der Tür. Die Lounge mit kostenlosen Snacks (Kuchen/Kekse, Obst) und heissen (Kaffeevollautomat/Tees) und kalten Getränken (Saft, Limos/Cola aus Flaschen) ist einfach klasse! Sowas sollte jedes Hotel haben, man kann es ein wenig mit einer Flughafenlounge vergleichen. Abends gibt es dort auch kleine Gerichte. Die Zimmer sind zu zweit zwar etwas klein und über die Konstruktion des Bads kann man sich sehr wundern. Insgesamt jedoch eine absolute Empfehlung.

Hilton Strasbourg is a very convenient hotel to visit Strasbourg. Secured car park is just in front of hotel, very easy to drive in and out. Checkin and check out is very smooth. The front desk staff, Emily, is very professional and polite. She explained to me how to take tram to get to the city center quickly, and major attractions in the city, as I am first time to Strasbourg. As a Hilton Diamond member my room is upgrade to Suite, with Executive Lounge access. The suite is size of 2 normal rooms , with excellent spa style jet spray shower and Jacuzzi bath tub. Toilet is separate. Bed is big and comfort , coffee machine works well. Hotel sends Alsace cookie and mineral water as welcome gift. Executive lounge is at lobby level, evening cocktail is good enough as decent Hilton lounge - you can treat this as dinner if you are a lone business traveler not wanting to get out and eat. Breakfast is decent as well. Overall, location is good , staffs are professional, facility is nice - a good Hilton hotel.

We had the Christopher Lloyd room! Other than that, location directly on the road from RR station (walkable) to Cathedral. With AC and sound insulated windows, very quiet. In room coffee a plus. Lobby coffee and filtered water a plus. Staff helpful with questions. Bkfst buffet more than adequate.

We (2 adults and 2 children) absolutely loved this hotel - it’s charming, has extremely friendly, respectful and highly efficient staff, very well equipped rooms and bathrooms (conditioner and hair bobbles a bonus!), a welcoming bar, great pizzas (room service that we ate in one of the communal bar spaces downstairs with friends also staying here) and last but not least, an AMAZING breakfast. Seriously the best we have ever had and we stayed in a lot of hotels on this 7-week tour of Europe. The breakfast here has ruined it for all other hotels in the world 😍! Simply brilliant - the home made deserts and cakes are to die for!

Este hotel está muito bem localizado, junto a estação de comboios com ligação direta ao aeroporto e a uma curta distancia a pé de todas as atrações principais da cidade. O hotel possui comodidades gratuitas de chá, cafe e fruta durante todo o dia e o pequeno almoço tem bastante variedade. Os funcionários da receção são também muito simpáticos. Os únicos aspetos menos positivos é o tamanho dos quartos mais básicos e a péssima qualidade do wifi (pelo menos no quarto em que ficamos alojado). Gostaria também de chamar atenção que atualmente o hotel está em obras, o que na minha opinião devia estar indicado na altura da reserva. É certo que as obras só começam as 9h mas por exemplo não é possível ter as cortinas abertas pois os trabalhadores estão nos andaimes mesmo em frente as janelas dos quartos.

Nous y avons séjournés du 25 au 26 mai 22. Studio agréable, propre, bien situé, proche de tout, nous avons pu nous promener dans le centre de Strasbourg sans prendre notre véhicule.Mais car bien sur il y a un mais, le micro-onde n'était pas propre, il y avait comme du fromage fondu dessus ce qui nous a laissé un peu perplexe pour un 4 étoiles. Dommage que la télévision soit si petite, que l'accès à la piscine ne soit pas plus tard, car nous n'avons pas pu y acceder. Pour le reste le personnel est très accueillant, disponible (besoin d'oreiller supplémentaire demande comblée immédiatement. Le petit déjeuner était certes un peu juste pour un 4 étoiles mais correct niveau qualité. La literie est de très bonne qualité, parcontre la salle de bain mériterait un petit raffraichissement et la mise en douche au lieu de baignoire serait top. Le vis à vis avec l'immeuble d'à côté est dommage.

The hotel is very handy indeed if you're arriving in Strasbourg by train. It's literally right opposite the train station. It's within easy walking distance (10 minutes or so) of the main town centre. I stayed here twice in quick succession to break a London-Prague return train journey, and was very happy with it. The staff were professional and helpful, breakfast was good (with fewer cooked items than Brits will be used to, but plenty of choice from the cold buffet and one or two hot items), and there was nothing wrong with my room. I think I was probably upgraded to a superior room on my first stay, as my room was considerably smaller the second time round. It's probably worth paying the extra for a superior room if you're planning on spending much time in the room.

We chose the Hotel du Dragon for our two nights in Strasbourg for three main reasons: its convenience to the Cathedral in one direction and La Petite France in the other, on-site parking and air conditioning. The hotel is well run, the staff is helpful, and the rooms are clean. Our “Classic double” was a bit on the tight side, but it was reasonably priced for a major French city. With few apparent outside breakfast options in the immediate vicinity, we found the hotel’s buffet breakfast to be well worth the additional price. (No such limited options with dinners; there were several nearby possibilities, and we were especially fond of Bistrot des Copains.) I mentioned parking — hotel spaces are quite limited, so book as far in advance as possible; I would not have wanted to deal with on-street issues. We loved our stay and would absolutely be happy to return should we visit Strasbourg again — but maybe in a larger room next time.

Disappointing stay. I had paid for an executive room with river view but only got a room facing the other side with a huge building in front of me instead. The hotel said that they had not received the information and the hotel was fully booked. It was not a big deal but I paid extra for the view and ended up with a standard room with some free sodas and amenities. I felt cheated. No Wi-fi for 1.5 days for my 2-night stay. Unacceptable Plus points: Staff was nice, both at the reception and housekeeping. The room was spacious and clean I had better experience with other Novotel hotels before but will not return to this one.

I was very disappointed with our stay. We were brought back into the last room on the top floor and the elevator did not go to the fifth floor, without doorman we had to bring luggage up a full flight of stairs. The room smelled musty and the grout in the bathroom tile was dirty. I felt the carpet in the halls were dark and dirty. The room itself was a bit dusty and needed refreshing of upholstery. The manager assured us that it had been done recently, within the last five years. The staff was very sweet. Room service was fast and ok- not amazing, but the breakfast had lots of options. The location of the hotel was great, and the city itself is lovely. So beautiful and clean.

Très bien ! Nous sommes resté une nuit pour découvrir Strasbourg et sincèrement la vue sur la Cathedrale est juste exceptionnelle. L’hôtel est super bien placé pour otut faire à pied, le parking Austerliz est à 8 minutes à pied et nous avons payé 22 € pour 24h ! les chambres sont pas grandes mais jolie et il y a tout ce qu'il faut, le personnel est super, très accueillants et disponibles. Et le petit déjeuner est juste top: il y a tout ce qu'il faut, des produits frais, bons et en quantité, j'ai adoré ! Lors de notre nuit l’hôtel était calme, nous n'avons rien entendu! Evidemment l’hôtel est situé place de la cathédrale donc il est possible, si on donne sur la cathédrale, qu'au milieu de la nuit on entende les gens bourrés qui sortent des bars mais je n'aurais pas choisi cet emplacement si je voulais du calme et du silence ! Très bien en tout cas je le conseille fortement !

I loved this hotel! The location is literally perfect for everything you’d want to do in Strasbourg. We were there for the Christmas markets and wow! This city is truly magical!! The rooms are small but cozy and were perfectly fine for our needs. We were really ever in the room to sleep and shower. The bed was very comfortable. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is the lack of an elevator. I’m partially disabled and was able to handle one flight of stairs to our room. But if this is a concern, choose another location.

Easy budget ? 179 euro e' un easy budget ? 1 singola con colazione. Ponte dell'immacolata 2023 PRENOTATO CON *********** .Camere piccolissime allestite minimal, se fossimo stati in 2 o passava 1 persona o l'altra ai piedi del letto, oltre a 2 appendini per cappotti dove scivolava tutto ad ogni passata. ( Ridicole le mensole sopra tv e anche l'altra al posto dell' armadio : chi e' basso di statura come ci arriva ? ). NO ARMADI. L'ARCHITETTO O DESIGNER VERAMENTE PRIVO DI ”REALISMO ” SOLO APPARENZA DI DESIGN , POI TUTTO VERAMENTE SCOMODO . Niente asciugamano grande per doccia. Dispenser sapone liquido per tutto. Finestra solo basculante inapribile. Nessuna possibilita' di parcheggio neanche a pagamento. Al telefono non rispondevano piu' prima di arrivare per chiedere informazione. La mattina della partenza con tantissime persone non c'era nessun receptionist 9 12 2023. Allarme che suonava nei corridoi alle 8. Il giorno prima donne di menage che bussavano alle 8. La ragazza che mi ha ricevuto molto gentile e super disponibile ( provvista di cell e pc : no vera reception ) : welcome drink ( the e Saint Nicholas chocolate ) mi ha aiutato con valigie. Il riscaldamento non puo' essere regolato dal cliente al di fuori dei loro orari programmati. No minibar ne cassaforte Ad 1 km e piu' dall'inizio del centro in via anonima senza nulla come ristoranti ecc. Un supermercato dietro l'angolo. Nessun bar fuori per la colazione. Comunque colazione ok che ti sprepari da solo : per le mie esigenze va anche bene, ma per chi ama colazioni abbondanti : proprio basic. Stanno ristrutturando un palazzo nella parte interna del cortile cosi' anche di sabato operai che lavorano. E' la seconda esperienza di un ibis easy budget ( l'altro a Londra ) Hanno personale giovane molto disponibile e gentile ma loro risicano sui costi su tutto ( 2 asciugamanini per faccia, neanche 1 grande per corpo ) ...figuriamoci minibar ..non se ne parla . La camera e pulita e moderna . Cioe' tutto politically correct ma danno poco per quanto chiedono come tariffa.

Hilton Strasbourg is a very convenient hotel to visit Strasbourg. Secured car park is just in front of hotel, very easy to drive in and out. Checkin and check out is very smooth. The front desk staff, Emily, is very professional and polite. She explained to me how to take tram to get to the city center quickly, and major attractions in the city, as I am first time to Strasbourg. As a Hilton Diamond member my room is upgrade to Suite, with Executive Lounge access. The suite is size of 2 normal rooms , with excellent spa style jet spray shower and Jacuzzi bath tub. Toilet is separate. Bed is big and comfort , coffee machine works well. Hotel sends Alsace cookie and mineral water as welcome gift. Executive lounge is at lobby level, evening cocktail is good enough as decent Hilton lounge - you can treat this as dinner if you are a lone business traveler not wanting to get out and eat. Breakfast is decent as well. Overall, location is good , staffs are professional, facility is nice - a good Hilton hotel.

A lovely hotel in a quiet part of Strasbourg close to all important spots in the city centre. The staff is very kind and so helpful. Breakfast is delicious. Was happy with the room too. It was spacious and clean. Great thing is, you don't have to hand the key in reception when leaving, so you're not left waiting in case the receptionist had to go somewhere. Definitely recommend.

Für unsere Rückreise aus Italien haben wir 2 Nächte im Residence Inn gebucht. Das Serviced- Apartments-Hotel befindet sich zusammen mit dem Schwesterhotel AC Hotel by Marriott in einem brandneuen Gebäude im boomenden Europaviertel in Straßburg. Für beide Häuser steht die Pradus-Tiefgarage zur Verfügung, die den Hotelgästen eine Ermäßigung von 5 Euro pro Tag gewährt (an der Rezeption Ticket tauschen) und auch einen Aufzug zur Hotelebene besitzt, die barrierefrei erreichbar ist. Wir haben das Residence Inn gewählt, weil es einen sehr günstigen Angebotspreis inkl. Frühstück und 20% Rabatt im Gourmetrestaurant L'Archipel gab. Das gesamte Haus mit beiden Marken ist brandneu und die Zimmer sind auf dem neuesten Stand der Hotelausstattung. Die Qualität der Marriott Betten und das gute AC-Hotelfrühstück, das immer einen IBERICO-S*****en vom Slicer beinhaltet, waren neben der Lage weitere Gründe für die Hotelauswahl. Wir konnten mit dem Auto problemlos zu Ausflügen in die elsäßischen Weindörfer aufbrechen.Das Europa-Viertel inkl. Parlaments-Besuch läßt sich fußläufig erkunden. Achtung: Für Straßburg und Colmar benötigen auch deutsche PKW seit Anfang 2023 zwingend die Critair-Umweltplakette. Sie läßt sich problemlos online bestellen und kostet 5 Euro Bearbeitungsgebühr - ein Verstoß wird erheblich teurer. Für eine Tour ins Stadtzentrum, wo parken schwierig und auch teuer ist, empfehlen wir die moderne Tram, die vom Hotel aus ganze 10Minuten ins Zentrum benötigt. Wir haben im Residence Inn sehr ruhig und gut geschlafen - die Schallisolierung der Fenster ist optimal. Das gute Frühstück findet für beide Häuser im 9.Stock in Buffetform statt. Das Personal ist jung und sehr hilfsbereit - Sonderwünsche beim Frühstück wurden sogar am Folgetag unaufgefordert serviert. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Klimaanlage auf dem Zimmer bläst gezielt auf Nacken und Rücken, wenn man am Schreibtisch sitzt - ein Abschalten ist allerdings möglich. Fazit: Ein modernes Mittelklassehotel im Europaviertel, das für Business- und Freizeitgäste gleichermaßen geeignet ist. Sie können zwischen Serviced Apartments oder den 4-Sterne Zimmern des AC Hotels wählen.

The room was a normal size and the bed was comfortable. Some of the furnishing seemed a bit worn but nothing serious just cosmetic. The shower was lovely. Location is good, only 10mins walk from the main part of Strasbourg there is also a tram stop right outside the hotel which is very convienient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room got cleaned every morning.

Super nettes Personal überall, alles recht stylish. Straßenbahnhaltestelle direkt vor der Tür. Die Lounge mit kostenlosen Snacks (Kuchen/Kekse, Obst) und heissen (Kaffeevollautomat/Tees) und kalten Getränken (Saft, Limos/Cola aus Flaschen) ist einfach klasse! Sowas sollte jedes Hotel haben, man kann es ein wenig mit einer Flughafenlounge vergleichen. Abends gibt es dort auch kleine Gerichte. Die Zimmer sind zu zweit zwar etwas klein und über die Konstruktion des Bads kann man sich sehr wundern. Insgesamt jedoch eine absolute Empfehlung.

Not talking dirt in the bunks (thankfully) but for as new as it seems, the shared spaces are rough. Bathrooms look rough, half the soap and dryers don’t work (not a good thing for hygiene obviously), the showers were always covered in water and hot water, up for debate. Next, the place is loud. Not hostel, a few people are chatting loud and certainly not 8pm, like the room was basically in the bar and the bar was busy (see next item) till after 1. Sure, we could have closed the window to help a bit but with no other airflow in the room, it’s a choice between super loud and hot/stuffy. Loud won. Last off, during my stay, they were hosting an event which meant a ton of people hanging around. Now the event was for a great purpose and that’s awesome and everyone was friendly too but it still meant the bar was basically taken over by locals who knew each other and filled up the community spaces, instead of a traveler or even a general bar vibe. Not a thrilling thing to find out after checking in. All that said, staff was great, super friendly when I checked in and around the place. The bar / restaurant is well done with a nice range of options and decent prices though I didn’t find the breakfast worth the buffet cost. Like the other locations, rooms are nicely done, bunks have good curtains, power, lights, all the makings of a 10/10, but not.

Conveniently located across the train station, this hotel was a great base to explore Strasbourg and Colmar during Christmas. Check-in was super quick, and the front desk staff was very attentive and answered any questions we had. COVID-19 protocols were strict, which was very positive. The room was a standard IBIS room, so nothing spectacular to write about, but still served its purpose and didn’t come with any surprises. Check-out was again fast, and walking across the street to get on our train for our next destination was priceless.

Seul point positif de cet hôtel : un accueil très sympathique aussi bien le jour que la nuit. Sinon : Chambres vieillottes, sans double vitrage alors que situé contre une rocade. Évitez les chambres finissant par 13 à 17. La serrure électronique de ma chambre ne fonctionnant pas, malgré un signalement fait, n’a jamais été réparée. Il a fallu qu’à chaque fois la personne de la réception vienne m’ouvrir avec sa clé. Pratique… Certains oreillers et matelas sont complètement défoncés. L’état des meubles n’est visiblement pas une priorité. Des collègues ont eu des cafards dans leur chambre, certains ont éprouvé d’immense difficultés à passer du mode « robinet » au mode « douche » via le sélecteur qu’il fallait soulever. Il y a même eu une chambre avec impossibilité de passer en mode douche. Pas très sympa quand on rentre d’une immense journée de travail à minuit. Mes WC étaient sales (cf. photo) et l’attache de la lunette des toilettes était cassée. Quant au petit-déjeuner, c’est minimaliste et de qualité assez moyenne. J’ai eu de la chance d’avoir des baguettes le premier matin, puis seulement des tout petits pains décongelés les deux suivant (à 8h du matin). Un seul choix de thé : du Lipton jaune bas de gamme. Enfin, c’est peu plaisant d’être réveillé dès potron-minet par l’équipe de jardiniers faisant usage avec force de leurs outils bruyants tels que coupe-haie, souffleur et autre tondeuse.

We (2 adults and 2 children) absolutely loved this hotel - it’s charming, has extremely friendly, respectful and highly efficient staff, very well equipped rooms and bathrooms (conditioner and hair bobbles a bonus!), a welcoming bar, great pizzas (room service that we ate in one of the communal bar spaces downstairs with friends also staying here) and last but not least, an AMAZING breakfast. Seriously the best we have ever had and we stayed in a lot of hotels on this 7-week tour of Europe. The breakfast here has ruined it for all other hotels in the world 😍! Simply brilliant - the home made deserts and cakes are to die for!
