This is a long due review. I stayed at Taj Kovalam in June as a pre birthday celebration. It was my first time at Kerala and to this resort and the experience was mesmerising. The property is lush green and looks beautiful with a stunning sea view and back waters view. The boat ride is very calming. The rooms are spacious and super comfy. Food is excellent. But the best part is the impeccable service by the staff at the hotel. They took all possible efforts to make my birthday truly memorable. Would specially like to mention Jasmine who assisted us right from check in to check out, Clifton who always served us with a smile at the restaurants and Vinigupal from the Front Office team who helped us with a last minute car service from the hotel as our car didn’t turn up. Last but not the least how can I not mention the GM of the hotel Mr. Suku Verghese who takes personal care and gives attention to every guest. We had a great time at the hotel and would love to visit again.

Located 30 mins from trivandrum airport is the Taj property. The property is about 20 years old and hence could use some upgrades.....however the warmth of the staff makes up for that ans beyond. Special shout out to Chef Rawat and his team who fed us great food . Serve staff of Gopi, Kaushik, Prakriti and Mani were super attentive at the resturant. Sanal and Jasmine with their smiling faces were always ready to greet us. If traveling with older folks ask for a room with no steps ( there are only 2)... Must try the high tea with the gorgeous sea view

This was the best ever vacation me and my wife had in the last 4 years. The property is huge and incredibly beautiful. The best Taj property we have stayed in till now. They have beautifully maintained the ecosystem inside and have been utmost careful not to harm it in anyway. The hospitality and service is just incredible. General Manager Mr Suku Vergese personally interacts with all the guests in the lobby area and is more than happy to recommend places and things to do in and around Kovalam. Ms Jasmine at front office made sure we got an early checkin and the checkin process was as smooth as it could get. For next 3 days it was Mr Shadab the operations head of the property who made sure we experienced the best 3 days of hospitality at the property. He was always just a call away and his team made our stay thoroughly comfortable and enjoyable. The team gave us a surprise for my wife’s birthday eve and we could not have been more thrilled. All the 3 days the executive chef Mr Mayur and chef Mr Rajput personally confirmed our meal choices and were very receptive of any feedbacks given to them. Mr Vinpugopal was very kind to arrange a local day tour for both of us.

Very good stay. Each and every person was eager to make our stay memorable. Shows the culture of the organisation. The location and the setting of the place is fantastic. Nothing can be better than this. The stay will continue to be etched in my mind for a long time and will explore more of Taj properties. Some improvement is required in the restaurant area in fulfilling the order fast

Just checked in to this beautiful Resort! Great welcome by the operations manager Shadaab Khan. Everything was arranged according to our needs and to perfection. The Taj hospitality and the touching moments came in when we called the reception since our Son had a very high temperature. The moments after that we just felt we are at home from Mr Shadaab , to Abhirami, Jasmine, Shiva, Aman they where just a call away. In getting in the doctor, arranging medicines they were just there for us . We can't wait to experience the next 2 days here Team you are Awesome! Mr Shadaab your leadership is shining through all of the team here!

Although the building appears old and the first vibe is strange, it syncs in after a few hours. It actually felt like living in a jungle, or natural habitat , the dense vegetation surrounding rooms is serene, tranquil and scary at times when frogs make sounds at night. The rain made it super beautiful. The staff is always humble and Helping, the food at this particular place is excellent
