From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the service was impeccable. Every staff member at this boutique hotel, from reception to the bar, was kind and welcoming. Our room was unique and filled with beautiful oversized mirrors, extremely comfortable bed, wonderfully outfitted bathroom and so many little extras and touches. Our room and the entire hotel was sparkling clean. Thank you Michele for making us laugh every day, we enjoyed talking with you. Fillippo you are wonderful and we look forward to visiting you both again in Venice or maybe seeing you on one of your vacations to New York! Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and breakfast was always great with so many options. Don’t miss a chance to stay in this beautiful hotel. It is truly one of a kind.

We spent two nights and it wasn’t enough. The hotel, its staff, and decor was great. Couldn’t have been happier. Strong recommendation to stay here. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel like home. The rooms were clean, efficient, and comfortable.

Unique boutique hotel with impeccable service. Worthy of all 5 stars! By deviating from the big chains, we experienced a level of service beyond what we ever expected. Our room was large, clean, comfortable, and had a lovely terrace. We forgot to pack some essentials but the room had everything we needed without having to call the front desk.

We stayed at 5 different hotels in Italy and this hotel was the most beautiful and best service by far. The family room I had booked wasn’t available so they upgraded us to an even better room with a view. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were so kind. Such a clean hotel and every piece of designer decor is well thought. The snack bar in the room is alway filled and beds are super comfy. Couldn’t have asked for a better hotel to stay at. Love this place and will definitely return and recommend.

Had a fantastic long weekend stay from Friday to the Monday, the staff were very welcoming and excellent. The hotel was stunning, with lounge beds on the balcony. We also booked the Aperitif on board for our last night which is a must for anyone staying at the hotel. Will definitely be back.

A casual aperitif enticed us to return for dinner and then breakfast at this welcoming, stylish, charming location away from the crowds of Venice, possibly the best G&T using local botanical "Gin dei Sospiri" mixed by Michele whose humour, charm and conversation encouraged us to return the following evening for dinner which was wonderful from start to end, we are vegan which inspired the chef to delight us with the most amazing dishes created for us, so much so we returned for breakfast the following day. An address we are certain to return to when next in Venice, next time we will be sure to stay the night as a preview peek at the rooms confirmed that this is an address not to miss for anyone looking to escape the usual run of the mill luxe hotel.

This was my fourth stay at the Palazzina Grassi and the experience was just as exceptional as before. The Phillips Starck design sets it apart from much darker more traditional Venetian interiors. The rooms are light, with huge traditional Venetian mirrors and quirky touches. Very charming, small, but beautiful decorated. The chef is outstanding, really outstanding. I ordered particular dishes repeatedly. The dining room/ bar is cosy and very friendly. The location is outstanding, quiet and away from the tourist hordes but within a very short walk of Piazza S.Stefano and the Accademia Bridge. A huge bonus is that the vaporetto stop is around the corner. This was the first time I travelled solo and the staff made me feel, not only welcome, but looked after in a very charming way. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Palazzina Grassi has the entire package.
