Hotel berhampiran Riverside Einkaufszentrum, Vienna

First time for me in a Hostel and these guys made sure my experience was memorable. They were very welcoming and always smiling. The rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable. The lounge area had a lot of chill spots, a pool table, a fussball table. At the bar I asked the bartender to make me a cocktail that was not on the menu and he was more than happy to do so. I really appreciated that! The metro station is right downstairs, and you have 5 stations to get to the city center, which is really helpful because in the center of the city are all the tourist attractions except Schonbrun. They have breakfast every morning and you can choose to pay 7 euros to eat. Or not. Not the best breakfast I've had but it does the job. Also, another con would be that there is no other piece of furniture in the room other then the beds. I found myself needing a chair or a small table lots of times. Overall an awesome stay! Would totally recommend! I will definitely come back!

Mixed bag here. The hotel is walking distance to the Stadthalle, our main reason for booking. Lots of transport links around. Many Ubers and bolts, and about 30/40 minutes to the airport via taxi. Room size was adequate, with a mini fridge, which was unplugged with food and drink inside. It didn't really cool well, when we managed to plug it in. The beds were comfy. The room had tea and coffee making facilities, but no milk. Room had electric blinds which were cool, and room was good and dark when the curtains were closed. Breakfast was ok, pretty standard, nothing special. But still good to start the day with. Rooms on the street side are very very noisy. The hotel is near a shopping mall, so deliveries 5am-10am every morning. Vehicles lloading, banging, noise, men shouting, doors slamming etc. But not really the hotel's fault. At night people smoke outside. So you can't really open windows overnight if you want a decent night's sleep. The room got very stuffy and no real aircon. The cleaning staff start very early, around 9am, so again prospect of good sleep is hit and miss, but they are very friendly and polite. Room generally clean, but there were hairs in the sink and shower. Also hairs on the supposedly clean towels. Staff mostly friendly and accommodating. However, the price of drinks seemed to change every round, (normally increasing). There was one member of staff who had the most appalling attitude. On our last night the shower flooded badly, into the hallway of our room. We couldn't shower or use the toilet. We phoned reception. The staff member claimed he didnt understand what bathroom is flooded means. After 5 attempts at explaining. He said he would send a colleague up. Surprise! Surprise! No one came. We needed sleep due to early flight the next day. We went down to reception, we were ignored, treated with contempt, eye rolls, and he told us he couldn't help, he said he was on his own. So sending someone was a LIE!? He was at the bar pouring drinks slowly, while looking at us blankly and rolling his eyes. He demanded we take a seat, no apologies, no offer of a solution. Basically appalling customer service and no communication. He was quick to check in guests that came to reception, inbetween pouring drinks deliberately slowly to avoid us. The only thing he said was he was on his own and there were no spare rooms. Eventually, he came to our room and saw the problem. With a bad attitude he did try to unblock the drain to no avail. We were lucky enough to have him mop up the floor and give us more towels, upon us asking, no offer. The staff in the morning when we checked out were apologetic when we told them, which we appreciated, and did make us nice coffee's to go. Unfortunately it doesn't take the bad taste away, and we had a poor night's sleep as a result of the stress. No one deserves contempt, utter rudeness and unhelpfulness as a paying guest, especially when we should have been resting, ready for flying

Saya mengesyorkannya. Bilik-bilik bersih dan kakitangannya ramah. Pertama sekali, ia berdekatan dengan stesen, yang merupakan kelebihan besar. Memandangkan ia berdekatan dengan Istana Belvedere, saya dapat melihat pasar Krismas, dan juga boleh menaiki U-Ban terus ke bandar dan melihatnya. Saya rasa saya akan membuat tempahan lain kali.

This hotel, as so many have mentioned, is in a superb location, about 3 minutes walk to the hop on buses. The staff are excellent, we arrived having spent a stressful time at the airport, because our luggage had not arrived. They supplied us with toothbrushes and paste and an emergency razor (my husband didn’t try it ) . On checking out we asked for a taxi, but was informed that the inner ring Strasse was closed due to a parade. We needed to get to the train station, and the bell boy(man really) collected as much of our luggage that he could carry and took as through the streets to an available taxi, our hero! The downside of the hotel, again well mentioned is the heat in the room, there was a fan but didn’t really help much. I also found the room noisy, we were overlooking the street and although lovely during the day with all the hustle and bustle, seen from the balcony, after dark the street is full of noisy people, and from dawn there was a constant stream of clanking dustcarts and delivery vehicles. Perhaps a room on the side street might be quieter. We enjoyed our stay there for staff and location, but not heat and noise!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The first thing that struck me was the cleanliness of the rooms. Housekeeping did an exceptional job, ensuring that everything was in order and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout my stay. One standout feature of this hotel was the complimentary mini bar. It was a pleasant surprise to find that not only was it stocked with a variety of beverages and snacks, but also that I had the option to customize the items according to my personal preferences. This level of flexibility and attention to guest satisfaction was truly impressive. The service provided by the hotel staff was another highlight of my stay. They were genuinely warm, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests I had. Breakfast at the hotel was a delightful experience, especially the Austrian breakfast offered. The variety of dishes, including traditional Austrian favorites, was a treat. The quality of the food was excellent, and the attentive staff ensured that everything was replenished promptly. It was a great way to start each day of my stay.

Where to start , well let's start at Check In, we have arrived at the Hotel around mid day which we were lucky to be provided with a room straight away, after taking our way into the room well.. The carpets are horrendously dirty to the point i had a walk around Vienna looking for flip flops just not to step bare feet on the carpet. At this point we have contacted the reception in hopes of getting an upgrade which we were willing to pay but got immediately shut down as they were at full capacity, the shower room was fine big walk in shower fairly modern and clean, big TV although do not be fooled it is not a smart TV if you phone does not have Screen Cast do not forget HDMI cable or you will be stuck watching German TV. The restaurant was only open for Breakfast they do not open for Dinner only upon request and availability, now this was a first for me.. Nevertheless we prefer to eat out always and Vienna has some Fabulous places where you can have a nice Dinner. Be careful as well when you wake up a bit later and have to come down to reception to ask for Housekeeping to come and tend your room as they will leave your room door wide open whilst you are parading around Vienna, this actually happened to us we requested them to go to the room to change the towels and nade our way to the center, once we cane back to the hotel after several hours we found our door wide open left by Housekeeping, next morning we made our way to the reception and made a complain as all our belongings where in the room and they would not take accountability if they were stolen, they only apologized and that was all not a voucher not an upgrade absolutely nothing, if you are looking for a Hotel were they dont care about you no good morning no good evening this is the place for you if not DO NOT STAY HERE. This is for the Doppio Hotel team please dont bother replying to my review and rather look into making changes when providing training to your team, people want to feel welcome and safe when staying abroad and you guys failed at both those points, seek out to Train and Develop your team because there is a long way for you guys to go. Good location but not the best, however not far from the airport. Ask for high floor to get a view

I was sceptical about staying here because of the previous reviews and I actually don’t think they do this hotel justice at all. I was staying on floor 4, there is a bit of of a funny smell to the hotel, and the rooms are a bit out of date but that was not really a put off factor for me. The pillows are non existent so I did have to ask for more which was delivered to my room. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms show wear and tear but the shower was great!! Very powerful. The breakfast was better than I thought it would be with plenty to choose from. Th staff went out of their way for anything I needed. The only other thing I would say is that there is complimentary tea and coffee in your room but no milk for the tea. Overall my stay was fine and if I returned to Vienna, I would definitely stay her again.

Esperienza eccellente in coppia. Prenotato 4 notti presso questo Hotel per me e la mia ragazza, e devo dire che ne siamo rimasti estremamente soddisfatti. Punti a favore: - Camere nuove, pulite, spaziose (noi avevamo la standard e si stava benissimo), controllo temperatura direttamente dall'interno, condizionatore efficentissimo ed intuitivo, doccia ampia, minibar, cassaforte e tablet da cui controllare la TV e altre funzioni. - Posizione strategica a dir poco, davanti la fermata della Metro U1 che arriva in centro in 15 Min, bus e tram. - Tranquillità. Camere insonorizzate perfettamente, non abbiamo sentito un minimo rumore né dall'esterno, né dal corridoio, né dalle altre camere, aspetto che ho apprezzato moltissimo avendo il sonno leggero. - Palestra, seppur piccola, essenziale ed adatta ad un breve workout per chi non volesse priv****ne anche in vacanza. - Refill acqua infinito alle fontanelle in reception, anche se a detta dello staff l'acqua dei rubinetti di Vienna è potabile. Lati negativi: Anche se la nostra esperienza resta da 5 stelle, credo sia giusto sottolineare alcuni aspetti che potrebbero essere migliorati per rendere questo hotel impeccabile. - Colazione: 21€ a testa è una follia, non so cosa offrissero ma a quelle cifre nemmeno mangiando all'Hotel Sacher in centro. - Ascensori: utilizzabili solamente scannerizzando la tessere della propria camera, metodo sicuramente intelligente per evitare intrusi nell'hotel, ma a volte scomodo e malfunzionante, e in generale gli ascensori funzionano un po' macchinosamente. - Mancanza di un armadio in camera di qualche cassetto, seppure abbiamo apprezzato molto quella sorta di appendiabiti a cielo aperto all'ingresso. - Staff pulizie scortese al checkout: nonostante alla reception ci avessero detto che il checkout fosse possibile fino alle 12, già dalle 9 una signora delle pulizie è venuta a bussarci, ripetendo poi verso le 10, anche dopo averle detto che eravamo in fase di uscita e avremmo liberato la stanza per tempo. - Connessione alla TV: nonostante avessimo seguito la guida per connettere il telefono alla TV tramite Miracast, non ci ha funzionato nulla, abbiamo riprovato più volte ma niente, avremmo potuto domandare in reception ma alla fine non ne abbiamo avuto bisogno.

10min walking distance to VIE airport. Very nice and relatively new hotel. Room is big and comfortable. They serve welcome drinks which are made by the bar too! Price is on the high side but there are very limited choice for airport hotel walkable to airport at Vienna. Check-in and out is very fast and easy too. Overall good experience and I wish I could stay longer.
