A new hotel that is clean, has good Wi-Fi, a nice onsen and a great place to break up a trip before you fly or after a long day of flying. Connected to the Terminal 3 (international terminal) it is build on top of a small shopping mall with a few restaurants. The hotel has pushed for self check-in and check-out and has a row of these machines with a very small face-to-face area. Some people might not like this. For me the check in machine didn’t work properly and the staff helping me took 4 tries before it would scan my passport. Check-out was fast though and took under a minute. My room had its own air conditioner so in winter the room wasn’t boiling hot which for me is a very major plus point (if you’ve travelled in Japan in winter a lot you will know what I mean!). I’d be very happy to stay here again

Very close to JR and subway lines connecting you to the heart of Tokyo. Underground walkway connecting the hotel to the train station was important when it rained or was very hot. 15-20 minute walk to the old Tsukiji fish market. About 15 minutes to Ginza on foot, too. Very safe all the way. Good restaurants nearby. Room was adequate for our needs (queen bed), window overlooking the rail corridor next door where you spot bullet trains every few minutes. Nice welcome drink happy hour in the bar lounge. Hotel has self laundry on site which was quite cheap and easy to use. All in all, a comfortable stay. Will probably come again.

Best hotel out of 4 hotels we stayed at. Central location, even though it was a bit of a walk to the station, but behind the hotel is literally a big shopping centre. Onsen is available at a discounted price for hotel guests, but we didn't go because the hotel room has a bathtub, so we use them as our private onsen. There is a free shuttle bus to Haneda Airport, but the earliest time is 8:30 am which might not be suitable if you have an early flight. Fortunately there is an Airport Limousine nearby too (same bus stop area) which you can book in advance, the earliest schedule is 7 am, and arrive at 8 am at Haneda Airport.

The room was just nice for 1 person and it has everything I need. I had a comfortable stay with them. The location was very convenient as it was in walking distance from a subway station. In addition, there was a bus stop outside the hotel which you can board to get to Tokyo station where I easily took the airport train to Narita Airport. This made my traveling easy, especially so when I am traveling with such a huge luggage bag. I want to highlight that they paid a lot of attention to details. I came out from a hot water bath and when I saw the mirror, I was very surprised to see that there was an area of the mirror that was not covered with water vapour. The staff actually applied something on the mirror to prevent condensation. Such attention to details made my day! It was not necessary but they did it anyway. Highly recommend this hotel, you will not regret it!

Hotel ini terletak di pusat bandar, sangat dekat dengan Stesen Shuitiangong, dan ia hanya satu minit dari tanah. Kemudian terdapat pusat bas berdekatan yang boleh membawa anda ke lapangan terbang Narita dan Haneda, tetapi harganya dua kali lebih mahal daripada kereta bawah tanah, jadi saya tidak mencubanya. Ia kurang daripada sepuluh minit berjalan kaki ke Stesen Kayabacho. Hotel ini mengambil masa kira-kira 20 minit ke Akihabara, 40 minit ke Shinjuku, dan setengah jam ke Tokyo Dome. Biliknya kecil, tetapi cukup untuk dua orang. Bilik air sangat bersih dan terdapat papan seterika di bawah tempat menyidai untuk menyeterika pakaian. Selimut juga agak selesa, tetapi saya tidak tahu mengapa teras selimut tergelincir keluar dengan mudah. Terdapat penterjemah suara di meja depan Jika anda tidak boleh berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Inggeris, anda boleh menggunakan penterjemah. Terdapat banyak kedai serbaneka berhampiran hotel, yang agak mengejutkan. Penebat bunyi sangat baik. 年間の半分以上は仕事の都合上「ホテルステイ」をさせて頂いているおりますが、ここまで残念な（ひどい）ホテルは体験した事はございません。 特に酷いのは「接遇力」「イレギュラーへの対応力」「引継の正確さ」が、まったくと言っても良いほどなっていないという事です。 まずはハウスキーピングのクオリティの低さです。部屋が破損していても、そのまま修理などもせずに「部屋の清掃が完了した」という事でお客様を通してしまうという点。私の場合は、スイッチが破損していた事もありましたし、黒色の日除けカーテンが。レールから外れていたりした状態で、部屋に通された事は２回ございました。 そして「２名」で予約しているのにも関わらず「１人分」の部屋のセットになっていた事もございました。この件は「ハウスキーピング」の責任というよりかは「申し送りが正確に行われていない」という、ずさんなホテル運営が浮き彫りになっていると思います。 そして「料金」の伝達の正確さも残念ながらなっていません。オリジナルの予約の部屋よりも、当日少し広めの部屋にアップグレードを有償でお願いしようとしたのですが、スタッフによって「案内金額」が異なり、二転三転としていた事もございました。 あまりにも「金額提示」が二転三転していたので「今後、どの様な対応になるのか」という事をホテルの方に聞いても「責任者が休みで決裁が出来ないので、責任者と連絡がつかないと対応出来ない」と言われました。 私は24時間営業のフロントデスクを保有しているホテルにおいて、責任者（決裁者）が不在のホテルなど初めて見ましたし、それも「終日決裁者不在」という、社会通念上ありえない状況に大変困惑を致しました。 ホテル業界だけでなく、どの企業でも「料金の提示」というものは、とても重要であり決して誤りのあってはいけない分野だと私は考えておりますし、そう社会人になってからも厳しく教えられてきました。 責任者の男性マネージャーさんに、上記の件について「意見」を申し上げても「口答え」はしますし「会話の最中にお客様の話にかぶせて言い訳」はしますし、そもそも「接客用語」も正しく使えておらず、責任者の接遇がなっていないが故に、部下に当たるスタッフの皆さんもホテルマンとしての「本質」を見失っている様に感じます。 お客様の見える所でスタッフ同士が会話している様に見えるのも問題ですし、私がフロントに行っても、しばらく会話をやめずに、私が声をかけるまで何も対応に入らないというスタッフもいます。フロントから、お客様がドアから入ってきた瞬間から、スタッフはお客様の様子について、顔を向けて確認（挨拶・会釈）しないと、ホテルのフロントとしては非常識です。 お客様から「苦情」を頂いてから「改善」をするのでは、3流のホテルです。1流のホテルは「想定されるトラブル」を防ぐ努力を行い、それでも予測不可能なイレギュラー対応については、トラブルから学ばせて頂く。これはホテルの基本姿勢です。 抑々「部屋の破損」「料金の案内の二転三転」「人数分の部屋セットが出来ていない」「言葉使いがなっていない」という分野は「想定されるトラブル」以前に、ホテルとして、あってはならない基本中の基本であります。 今のホテルヴィラフォンテーヌグランド東京田町様のクオリティでは、お世辞にも「このホテルはお勧めです」とは言えません。まったくマネジメント、危機管理がなっておらず「サイレントクレーマー」は二度と泊りにはきてくれないホテルです。 お客様の多くは「苦情」を言わずにホテルを後にします。しかしホテルは「サイレントクレーマー」を一人でも減らす努力をしなければ、数字に直結しません。売上が良いホテルから「接遇」に力を入れなくても良いなんという考え方もあり得ない事です
