Hotel berhampiran Baodingwan, Wanning

We had a wonderful two day stay. There weren’t many guests around on the dates we stayed, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The hotel offered a shuttle golf buggy to the beach and nearby places which was a bonus. It rained heavily while we at the beach so staff picked us up in a car. I have already recommended the hotel to a friend! Staff: Friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast: Fresh and healthy, served in the outside coffee/bar summer house. Afternoon Tea: Tasty fruit, fresh juice, local biscuits. Hotel surroundings: The garden is planted thoughtfully and kept tidy. It was nice to have the open covered seating area to rest and read a book. The furniture is good quality and comfy. Swimming pool is a nice size and clean apart from some surface bugs. (it’s not easy to keep all flies/insects out off the pool in a hot place) Dog friendly hotel, the owner’s puppy was super cute! Room: Super view over the mountains. Large balcony. Furniture, towels, toiletries and bedding all high quality. Decor tasteful and modern. Everything felt reasonably new and in good repair. Surrounding area: Quiet village, plenty of places to eat or get coffee. Only cons: Coffee is not included as standard with the breakfast. When it rains the cushions on the balcony’s outside furniture oget wet so you can’t sit on them for some time. I personally didn’t like that you could see into the ground floor rooms from the outside seating and sunbathing areas.

De Vivre Daizhai Hotel is more than just a hotel…it is an experience. From the moment you arrive you’ll be treated like royalty and made to feel like part of the family. Nothing is too much effort for Elva and her friendly team.  The beautiful boutique hotel is exquisitely designed down to the last detail, and for keen photographers it’s a dream come true. The surroundings are stunning, and the hotel provides a pocket of peace while still being conveniently located and close  enough to the beach.  This is by far my favourite place I’ve stayed in a long time on all of my travels, and I would come back next weekend if I could! Highly recommended for a weekend, or week, in Wanning!

剛來到萬寧就被這家民宿驚艷到了，本來我是打算湊合住一晚，因為我要環遊國內，住宿想省點錢，所以100多找了這家民宿，離萬寧神州站也近，還有接站服務，誰知道剛到民宿，老闆給我免費升級了帶浴缸的房型，打開房間，毫不誇張，40㎡大的房間，比我當年在杭州上班時候租的房子都大，而且一眼看過去十分乾淨，還有三扇窗，窗外景色也不錯，院內風光也好，當天晚上我就坐鞦韆吹着風，開始了做起我第二天萬寧的遊玩攻略，然後晚上還用浴缸泡了個澡，有一次性浴缸帶，不用擔心衞生問題，浴缸大的不像話，我這種又高又胖的體型在裏面也感到空間十分寬裕，另外房間還有投影儀，馬桶是智能馬桶，淋浴也很乾凈，第二天早上我直接續租一天（不過價格稍微漲了點，後悔當初沒直接定兩晚），找老闆租了個電動車，民宿用户30元可以租一整天，老闆貼心告訴我，如果到日月灣，可能路上要充電，我最後試了下，我從民宿到神州半島到石梅灣到日月灣，最後再返回來，晚上還去了神州半島夜市，最後還是能返回來的，還有不少電，由於當天玩沖浪導致手部被甲板擦傷，找老闆還給我找來了創可貼，腳上起泡也不用的擔心，有針線提供，下一天早上趕着去陵水的高鐵，老闆也開車送我到站，真的很感謝很開心，我是淡季來的，100-200左右，我不知道後麪價格是否會變動，但是我這次體驗真的很不錯，這是我第一次推薦別人來住的民宿，同時我也想提幾個改進建議，首先是空調，我始終感覺製冷太慢，感受不到啥涼風，雖然有冷意，後面問老闆也説是往上吹，也可能是房間太大了，製冷慢，這個是我覺得可以改善的地方，另外就是廁所跟淋浴衹隔了半個門，感覺可以做成推拉門，不然馬桶前面還是會濺到水，最後一點就是洗衣機，如果後面做大做強有錢的話，還是希望可以房間內加個洗衣機，不然這麼大的房間，太浪費了，或者也可以加點別的設施，當然前提是有經濟實力，哈哈哈，總之十分不錯，強烈推薦！

We are a family of three from Singapore. This is our first time visiting Riyue Bay in Haikou. We love surfing and saw an advertisement for UECHAO Surfing Resort online, which looked very interesting. So we decided to visit and experience this only artificial wave pool in China during our May holiday. Our first impression of the hotel was that they were friendly, provided professional service, and were always responsive to guests' requests. The hotel's decor was novel and unique; we especially loved the coffee table designed with surfboard elements, which perfectly matched the surfing theme. The rooms were clean, tidy, and comfortable. The food offered at the hotel was delicious and varied, giving us many choices. In addition, the hotel provided complimentary laundry service, which we found particularly thoughtful. Absolutely love it. ❤️ Here, I must say that this first artificial wave pool in China truly deserves its reputation as a world-class wave pool. The strength of the artificial waves is comparable to that of real ocean waves. We especially love its Malibu waves, which make us feel as if we are surfing in the sea of Malibu. This surfing experience brought us many surprises and a lot of joy. Turely enjoyable. The hotel is also about a 5-minute walk from Riyue Bay Beach. The Riyue Bay business street has lots of local restaurants and cafes, and there are street dance performances at night, making it very lively. I highly recommend UECHAO Surfing Resort to everyone.👍🏻

I recently stayed here as a Belgian Chinese traveler, and even though my Chinese isn’t very strong, I was welcomed with so much warmth. This hostel is a true hidden gem, tucked away from the typical tourist trails in a quiet part of the village. It’s the perfect location: right by the fields and some very trendy coffee shops, yet only a 5-minute scooter ride from the main bay and the best surf spots. The owners, Shuiku (水库) and Xiaoxiao (笑笑), really made my trip. Shuiku immediately helped me sort out a scooter and personally showed me where to find the best waves, while Xiaoxiao’s English is quite good, which made everything so much easier. They also pointed me toward some local restaurants that were all absolutely delicious. The vibe of the place is just great. It’s incredibly clean because the cleaning lady and Shuiku himself clean the place several times a day. I loved the design of the indoor chill-out area, though sitting outside to enjoy the tropical weather was just as good. There’s a washing machine which is super handy, and you can rent surfboards for a very fair, cheap price. Because the owners' friends drop by almost daily, there’s always a lively, authentic atmosphere. I met a great mix of foreign tourists and Chinese solo travelers trekking around the island by bike or motorcycle. Many Chinese couples and families where staying too, it is very kid-friendly too. I even ended up meeting a French girl there, and we spent a whole week surfing together. If you're looking for a peaceful yet social spot to surf, this is it. =========================================================== （抱歉，我使用的是翻译软件，如果有语法错误请见谅。） 我是一名来自比利时的华裔，虽然我的中文说得不太好，但在这里我感受到了极其热情的款待。这家青旅真的是一个宝藏地，它远离了那种商业化的旅游路线，坐落在村子里一个非常安静的地方。过马路就是田野和几家非常时髦的咖啡馆，位置绝佳：既能享受安静，骑摩托车去海湾和冲浪点也只要5分钟。 老板水库 (Shuiku) 和老板娘笑笑 (Xiaoxiao) 人真的太好了。水库二话没说就帮我搞定了租摩托车的事，还亲自带我去看了最好的几个冲浪点。笑笑的英语说得挺流利，这对沟通帮助很大。他们推荐的几家餐厅也全都超级好吃，完全没有踩雷。 青旅的环境没得说，非常干净，我看到保洁阿姨和水库每天都会打扫好几次。室内休息区的设计感很强，在那儿待着很舒服，或者在院子里享受海南的好天气也很惬意。这里还有洗衣机可以用，冲浪板的租借价格也非常公道。 最让我喜欢的是这里的氛围。老板的朋友们经常过来串门，所以感觉特别亲切、有生活气息。我在这里遇到了很多外国游客，还有不少骑自行车或摩托车环岛的中国驴友。我甚至还结识了一位法国姑娘，我们俩一起冲浪了一整个星期。很多中国夫妇和家庭也住在这里，这里也非常适合带孩子入住。如果你想在海南找一个既能安静休息又能结识有趣朋友的冲浪点，选这里准没错。

We chose to stay a night at Grand Hyatt Shenzhou Peninsula and initially hesitated due to Wanning’s light rain. However, the warm hospitality of the hotel butler and real-time weather updates convinced us. From the moment we arrived, the staff provided seamless service, assisting with luggage and inviting us to the Grand Club while our room was prepared. There, we met the Manager Esther and the proactive stuff Chen Jingjing, whose thoughtful service led us to upgrade our stay. Esther’s constant care—reminding us of temperature changes and safety tips—along with Jingjing’s attentive service, made us feel truly valued. Beyond the hotel’s comfort, Esther also shared excellent travel tips, making our stay even more enjoyable. Their warm service left such an impression that we decided to extend for another night—because of Esther! What started with hesitation due to the rain turned into a memorable experience, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

🌿 Hidden Tropical Getaway — I’m Definitely Coming Back! 🌿 I stayed here for 4 nights and honestly, I’m already thinking about my next trip back. The whole vibe of this hotel is peaceful, green, and super relaxing — perfect for a little escape from the city. While my room didn’t face the ocean directly, it overlooked a beautiful garden full of lush tropical trees and plants. It felt like waking up in the middle of a quiet jungle oasis. I loved how calming it was — birds chirping in the morning, swaying palm trees, and so much natural light. The room itself was spotless and stylish, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed. You can tell they care about maintaining the place really well. What really made this stay special was the staff. Everyone I met was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help — whether it was arranging transportation or giving local tips. They even have drivers who can take you around to explore nearby beaches and spots, which was super convenient. One of my favorite little perks? The coffee shop inside the hotel where you can grab free coffee anytime. I spent a lot of time there, sipping on iced drinks and reading in the garden — it was honestly the perfect recharge. The whole property feels cozy and nature-focused. Not flashy or crowded — just clean, peaceful, and full of tropical charm. Ideal for solo travelers or couples who want to slow down and soak in some nature. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Wanning or Riyue Bay. I’ll absolutely be back! 🌺✨

My stay at Four Points by Sheraton was excellent, largely due to Alan, the Guest Relations Butler. His friendly and attentive service—from quick requests to local recommendations—made me feel valued. The hotel’s comfortable rooms and smooth operations exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it for a great experience!

房間該有的都有 設備都能用 空調也很給力 衞生也很乾凈 環境很好 陽台能看見海 管家接送也很及時，租車這些都很方便 管家接送也很及時 不拖沓，一切服務都很好 有商有量的，下次來日月灣還會訂這家！！

The cleanliness overall is good, but you can see signs of wear and tear. The cushion was a little bit stained, and the cupboard door has some aging/affected by moisture. It is still acceptable for now. The overall amenities are great, pool, outdoor hot springs and food available. If you don’t have a car, it is not easy to get out to eat but there are 2-3 restaurants in the resort itself. The beds are comfortable. My only complain is that the aircon was quite weak and could have been better. It was not warm but not cold in the room, and we had ensured the balcony door was closed.
