Forest homestay at sunrise

We had an amazing stay at Forest homestay at sunrise. The homestay is a short 5 minute drive from the west gate of the National Park which is much quieter and with smaller queues. The service we received was excellent, in particular from Mr Wu (小吴) who was extremely helpful in planning an itinerary tailored to our schedule and organised all of our tickets for us. He helped us to plan a route which avoided the crowds for most of the day. The hotel had stunning views of the mountains, complete with an infinity pool and a restaurant with delicious local food. We highly recommend staying here!

Had a great time at the hotel. The room had a stunning view of the mountains. The staff was very accommodating, driving up/down the hill, giving tour paths for the park, and the food for breakfast and dinner was SUPERB. Definitely will be back. 10/10.

Very close to the entrance of Zhangjiajie West, this small but highend countryside villa resort is well-appointed, clean, and with beautiful views of the Zhangjiajie mountains in the distance. We had breakfast every morning and two dinners in the villa restaurant which were delicious. While far away from the Zhangjiajie City, the location wad perfect for people seeking quiet, natural countryside living in a highend villa.

Amazing customer service! Absolutely worth 5 stars review! Helped us arranged our day trip, booked all tickets for us, draw the map for us. Pick us up from the city centre, drop us off to the Zhangjiajie national park entrance. Besides of the best service, they have the stunning mountain view from the room. Quite, peaceful, that’s all you need for a relaxing holiday. Specially thanks to conceirge Wu, he is very kind and very thoughtful. Definitely recommend this hotel. Can’t load pictures. We recently stayed at the villa for three nights over CNY and it exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The excellent breakfast provided a delightful start to each day, and the staff's kindness added a warm touch to the overall experience. The pick-up service from 張大哥was convenient, and the transportation options were reasonable. The room offered a breathtaking view, providing a serene atmosphere. Privacy was well-maintained, creating a peaceful and exclusive environment. The jacuzzi was a highlight, offering a relaxing escape. The cleanliness of both the room and bathroom was impeccable, contributing to a comfortable stay. Overall, this villa provides a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and thoughtful amenities for a memorable getaway.

The pool table was great! The ambience was great! Mr Wu was really nice to help use his drone to take picture as well! Definitely an experience to remember!

Amazing hotel and unmatchable views! Food and location was great! Staff is very kind, sweet and helpful. Room was amazing! They upgraded us and gave us basically a house! If you are looking to visit the park and enjoy the hotel this is your place. It is secluded so don't go if you are looking to hang out outside in a proper town etc. I am vegetarian so I wish there were more clear veggie options as I know Chinese food has but they went out of their way to help me. I also wish there was a menu in English and a clear vegetarian menu so it was just easy to order food rather than trying to overlap one phone with the other to translate (Google translate) 😂. Also for us this is the best entrance and the hotel is literally 5 minutes driving from it. They take you every morning in a golf car and it is just magical. Visiting this park and having this view every morning when waking up it made this trip totally worth it.
