I booked the deluxe room and they upgraded me to a better one.
Room is fantastic, firm and comfortable bed, room is clean, powerful aircon with complete bathroom amenities.
There is a cafe by the river directly infront of hotel or just cross the road and there are many eateries.
Perfect hotel except for the parking, carpark will get flooded during high tide. Hotel entrance is facing river, if you are unlucky enough to go out during high tides then prepare for wet shoes.
Suggest hotel to have another entrance facing the main road.

This hotel requires extensive internal renovations. The first room we were given had mould in many places ( it is impossible to breathe!) and we had to request a change of room. The request was met without any confrontation as we guess, the receptionist knew the condition of the room. The second room (pictured) was only a little better.
We love the easy access to the beautiful beach behind the hotel and the close proximity to the town.

For casual travellers with no special demands, this hotel will suffice. However, it appears that hotel management is trying hard to save dimes. Rooms have insufficient light [I had to drag a bed light to the working desk to see anything...]. There were several other minor issues [key to room did not work for a while, no clothes hangers in cupboard, no safety box and so on], which are - I guess - nuisances, but not a big problem. However, attentiveness to small things should be top priority for any hotel. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful.

I had an excellent and quiet room. No complaints whatsoever. Great service too.
Pity they don't have a gym. I made my own breakfast and had dinner somewhere else, so I can't judge.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel facilities and decor are excellent, and the environment is quite nice. However, I booked a room with a shared bathroom, which was indeed very beautiful, but there was no toilet in the room, which was inconvenient, especially at night.
The receptionists were very friendly, and they even gave me a pair of headphones to watch TV, which I was very grateful for.
The hotel facilities are excellent. The decor is very luxurious, like a five-star hotel.
The location is also great, facing a large river.
There are restaurants just 100 meters away; the entire town's main street is located there. In short, this place is perfect for a vacation. There were an abundance of power outlets in the room, which is better than other hotels.
