"Location is unbeatable, probably the closest hotel backing onto the Incline Railway. With a Niagara Parks pass, you get unlimited rides right down to the Niagara Falls walking path/platform level. That convenience is huge. However, they know it and gouge accordingly: $50/night parking + $16 resort fee on top of room rate, which is outrageous when nearby lots go for $20–30. The hotel itself is very dated: old-hotel smell, tired decor, no modernization. They're coasting on location alone. The 14th-floor observation deck offers a nice falls view when mist isn't blocking it. Amenities are basic but functional. Free coffee and tea/water only, no breakfast. At the end of the day, you're paying for extreme convenience at a still-acceptable budget level, otherwise you'd be shelling out far more at the high-end hotels or the ****** nearby. That said, if you're willing to walk a bit or catch the very frequent WEGO bus (included with your Niagara Pass), you can find cheaper, better-kept hotels further out. It's your call: overpay for a dated room and extreme doorstep convenience, or save money and ride the bus like most visitors do on non-peak season."

"Our room was freshly renovated and looked brand new! Super clean, modern, highly recommend. Walking distance to the incline railway and short walk to most everything else. If there's a downside, although we booked a falls view room and we were on the 16th floor, they gave us the corner so it was an awkward angle. They tried to upsell at check in to get a better view, which we declined. Could still see some of the falls and it was nice, just not as nice as we thought it was going to be from that room."

"The hotel really needs to listen to its reviews. Most people have really damned them for being a dirty stinky cesspit of a venue but actually it is pretty amazing. Very smart foyer, lovely warm and cosy rooms and an amazing location. However, the internet is SUCKY away from the foyer - I had to talk with reception and a support tech person to explain that the internet was bad in the room and it was turned around to seem like I was wrong. Get more routers in, it’s not that difficult. Also, breakfast MUST INCLUDE healthy options. There is not a fruit or vegetable in sight. If you don’t count the options of raspberry or strawberry yoghurts. Personally, I think the hotel should rethink their pricing strategy. It is far too affordable; and breakfast (with fruit and veg) should be an upsell option. You have the location! You have an amazing swimming pool and hot tub! You even have top quality toiletries! I would have paid twice the rate without breakfast, which most properties in the area are doing. Sorry for my rant but I know the hotel should and can do better."

"The staff (Sha***) he has excellent customer service when we arrived at 12:30 pm July ,11,2026. He was very efficiently to managed my issues of booking. The hotel is clean , rooms is spacious and have a great views of our rooms for the Niagara Falls view. We have a great time of our anniversary. Thank you so much."

"The suite was very disappointing, especially considering the category of the hotel and the price we paid for the room. The location was very good and convenient, but unfortunately, the facilities and furnishings in the suite felt old and dated. Overall, the suite did not meet the standards we would expect from a hotel of this category. Given the high price of the room, we expected a much more modern, well-maintained and comfortable suite. Unfortunately, the quality of the facilities did not justify the price."

Great hotel, great location and excellent front of house reception team with a warm welcome. Rooms are large but need a refurbishment as looking a tad worn and tatty. I understand that some refurbishment is in progress to the rooms and restaurant. Beware: our holding deposit had not been returned after we checked out on June. 11, even though there was no spend on the room. Even after 8 days, I cannot get my deposit returned - so recommend you insist on a return on checkout.

My husband and I stayed here from September 9 to 10 last for our 20th wedding anniversary. We had a medical appointment down the road so it was a convenient location. Here are some of our observations where they could do better. 1. l use a cane with my disability, and there was no luggage trolly in the lobby when we arrived. I had to haul two heavy bags on one arm while using my cane with the other hand. 2. I checked to see that there was body wash for our evening and morning showers and the bottle was completely empty. The housekeeping staff hadn't refilled and we had to find someone to put a new bottle into the shower. It's a good thing I checked and didn't get a rude awakening in the morning. 3. The picture in the room looked as though something was thrown at it and went down the glass. There were two streaks and it was very disgusting. Obviously, the cleaning had not been done properly in the room. 4. Nowhere on the website was there mention of a continental breakfast so we were quite surprised that there wouldn't be your typical eggs, bacon, sausage. Etc. It was very disappointing. We only found out because we got on the elevator, and there was an ad taped to the inside of the elevator. At the time of booking, all it said was free breakfast included. 5. The shower-head sprayed all over the ceiling when it was turned on, so we had to put a face cloth over it to contain the spray 6. The microwave glass tray did not rotate so when you put something in there, it didn't heat it up evenly. It actually burned the item. 7. Bathroom light fixtures were covered with caked on dust. I wrote my name in one of them. It's Obvious that the housekeeping staff does not pay attention to cleaning - only does minimum.

The service, amenities, and dining all meet a certain standard. It only takes about 25 minutes to drive from the airport to the hotel, yet the hotel is located in the city center. I stayed in room 408 and initially thought it might be noisy being on a lower floor, but it turned out to be quite good. A special shout-out goes to Ms. Monira from housekeeping; whenever I returned, she had already quietly tidied and cleaned the room perfectly. What's even more impressive is that she would arrange my belongings according to my habits, which is incredibly thoughtful and personalized. She is a very responsible and meticulous employee. I will definitely choose Holiday Inn Toronto Downtown Centre by IHG again next time I visit my daughter in Toronto.

The location is great, right outside there's a bus stop, and the subway isn't too far either. The only thing is there are so many key cards needed to get through all the doors – I even had to take my room card with me to the shower and toilet! Some of the front desk staff were super friendly though; one even helped me carry my suitcase upstairs (this hostel doesn't have an elevator, and there's no laundry room here, but you can pay to do laundry at a place across the street). Overall, I think it's pretty good! There were some homeless people outside, but they seemed harmless.

This was our first time staying at Americana and we are very pleased with the experience. We drove 3 hours from northern Ontario and it was worth it! We went with another family for New Year's Eve and our children had such a wonderful time. We ordered room service, went to the waterpark several times, played in the arcade and our kids had so much fun. We are planning to come back next year!

The parking, although costing, could not have been more convenient. The location was also outstanding, being so close to the CN-Tower and many restaurants. The unit was great and I'm so glad i requested an upper floor with a balcony as the weather was nice and we sat out there many times, day and night. So nice having two bathrooms and the extra bedroom for extra space. Very well appointed as well. I left to go to the hockey game and realized I had left my key in the room and I was freaked as I didn't know how I'd get back in, as the rental company is not onsite. I got in touch with them and they reminded me that it must be unlocked as the key is need to lock the door from the exterior. Stupid me didn't remember that so disaster averted, although the unit was unlocked. The concierge did go up to make sure it was indeed unlocked and untouched to their eyes. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. I felt the photos we saw when booking were misleading - it appeared larger and said the square footage was between 850-950sqft and our suite was nowhere near that size. The two beds and the sofa were so crammed in that you couldn’t open one of the cupboards and it was difficult to get to the second bed without squeezing against a wall. We did move the desk and table/chairs to make a little more spaceand to me, the layoutsakee more sense the way we left it - with the desk against the window and the table in the little room. The photos made it look like the beds were in a separate room than the sofa/kitchen. It’s possible we were put in the wrong kind of room? There are absolutely no extras here - no pots and pans or ice cube trays. We had 3 plates and one glass in the cabinets. No silverware or dish soap and no detergent for the dishwasher (not that there was anything to put in there). The hotel appeared pretty clean but we also were missing sheets for the pullout. The team did bring us two flat sheets to use and they said they only had one extra pillow (which was fine since the beds had 4 pillows each).

initailly out room keypad was out of battery but the staff was very friendly they assisted and provided us another room asap no wait staff was very helpful and polite perfect hotel away from tourist crowds parking is additional 15$ onsite rooms are clean and good there is no smoking or bad smell in rooms rooms with balcony have a view view shows river amd part of falls awesome hotel prices high on weekends otherwise better than big brands hotel was a piece of mind

The facilities is old and worn out, i.e flooring, walls and lighting; it needs serious renovation. For the price, it's a ripped off. The location is very convenient, at the same time is noisy.

Pros: a parking lot with sufficient space (no need to book in advance). A shopping mall St Laurent is nearby. The breakfast is ok. There are 2 sockets and 2 USB-A outlet on each side of the bed. The staff are friendly in general. Cons: A bit far away from the tourist attractions downtown (around 10 minutes drive). The coffee from the in-room coffee machine was so-so. The air-conditioner was quite noisy. The TV in my room couldn't be turned off (It went off automatically after no-signal for a while anyway). There were some paper cups for coffee but no other glass / cups in the whole room even for brushing teeth so I had to use paper cups for brushing teeth (Is it considered environmental friendly?)
