La ubicación del hotel es muy buena, cerca de la estación central y a unos 10 minutos del centro. El proceso de check-in si se hace fuera del horario de recepción es fácil de usar, aunque hay que introducir muchos datos que se podrían realizar por adelantado. La habitación es amplia y cómoda, pese a estar junto a las vías del tren no hay ningún tipo de molestia. No pude estacionar en el aparcamiento del hotel porque estaba completo, pero se puede estacionar en el entorno. Muy recomendable.

I recommend anyone to stay in this hotel, starting from the location which was the best location ever in kiel, few steps to the trains station and to the shoping mall and also very close to the sea port, the staff are very polite and friendly, room is nice also, bath is well, the breakfast was super, and the last thing I would say is very nice view.

Stayed one night coming from southern Germany before going on the ferry to Norway. Room was spacious and clean. A plus for really quiet neighborhood. This could have been a 5-star review. But one thing reduced it to 3 stars (just). The windows are equipped with black out curtains, but over the windows sits a triangular window with no blinds. So at 5 AM no more sleep. Be sure to bring eyeshades. Also no Restaurant or food on site other than breakfast.

Hotel was in chaos when we arrived. Staffing issue with the room cleaners, only one on duty. The reception area was full of guests waiting for their rooms. We eventually got into ours at 18.30 that night. The reception staff were doing their best to keep the guests happy, They were working really hard and were terribly stressed.. Caroline in particular did an amazing job. Our room, when we got into it, was comfortable and reasonably clean. Location is very good, close to the harbour and station. Breakfast was very busy but there was plenty of choice of food and again the catering staff were working very hard. I had the impression that there are some management issues at the hotel. I felt sorry for the staff that were obviously doing their best but needed more support. Having said that it was a good stay for us and Kiel was an interesting and surprisingly lovely place to visit.

Gut gelegenes modernes neues Hotel, obwohl es zwischen Bahnhof und ZOB liegt, ruhige Zimmer, freundliche, hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, unkomplizierter persönlicher Check-In, Check-In am Automat auch möglich, moderne Einrichtung, sehr schönes sauberes Zimmer, coole Tapete, modernes Bad mit Regendusche, reichhaltiges Frühstück, es wurde immer schnell nachgefüllt, ein zweiter Kaffeeautomat wäre schön, ansonsten große Getränkeauswahl, Lachs hat mir gefehlt. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Automated check-in possible. Quite convenient. Refridgerator, but no mini-bar in the room. Snacks can be bought on a truster basis near the reception. Mostly quiet hotel with spaceous rooms. The cleaning personnel comes around 11h and is quite noisy. Free parking with no additional costs. All in all a recommendation for a trip to Hamburg or Schleswig Holstein.

We had a brief two night stay prior to joining a cruise. The hotel is in the best location for picking up a cruise ship! On arriving in the room I was surprised to find no air con and when I checked my booking and the website it appears that due to the age of the hotel, only some rooms have it. If you want air-con make sure you check the room category carefully before booking. Although August, it was raining across the two days that we were there and with the room being on a high floor and with the windows open at night, the room was cool enough. Comfortable bed and good shower, the hotel offers a good selection of product at breakfast time. We very much enjoyed our brief stay

Friendly atmosphere, relaxed service, very clean room, environment conscious. I was given clear information about the best places and restaurants to visit. Daily room cleaning can be opted out to reduce environmental load. A drink voucher is offered in exchange.

Das Hotel liegt im selben Gebäude wie das Ibis Hotel. Linker Eingang Ibis, rechter Eingang Adagio. Ebenfalls sind das im beiden Hotels dieselben Mitarbeiter. Anders zum Ibis Hotel, bietet das Hotelzimmer eine Küchenzeile. Für Familien praktisch, muss man nicht immer essen gehen. Supermärkte, Shoppingmall und Restaurants befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Aufzug und kostenfreien WLAN Wie im IBIS Hotel ist das Frühstück Mo-Fr 06:30 Uhr bis 10:30 Uhr und Sa+So 07Uhr-11 Uhr. Getränke wie Wasser und Kaffee bekommt man bis 22 Uhr kostenlos. Ebenso gibt es im Essenssaal eine Bar. Essen dort bis 22 Uhr, Getränke bis Mitternacht Der TV im Zimmer funktioniert einwandfrei.

Wie bereits an das Hotel und an den Kundenservice von booking kommuniziert, war dieser Nichtaufenthalt das Letzte. Ich hatte für meine Tochter und ihren Freund ein Doppelzimmer gebucht und auch noch einmal einen Tag vor Anreise im Hotel bezüglich der Ankunftszeit angerufen. Da war noch alles in Ordnung und die Buchung wurde vom Mitarbeiter gefunden. Bei der Anreise war dem nicht mehr so. Der Mitarbeiter der Rezeption schaute sich die Buchungsbestätigung, die meine Tochter vorzeigte nicht einmal an, suchte nur in seinem PC und sagte dann noch, dass es mit booking immer Probleme gibt. Nach langem Suchen fand er die Reservierung und gab meiner Tochter den Schlüssel zu ihrem Zimmer, kommentarlos. Das war jedoch kein Doppelzimmer, wie gebucht, sondern ein Einzelzimmer! Nach kurzer Rücksprache mit mir, reklamierte meine Tochter das beim Rezeptionisten. Daraufhin wurde ihr nur ein Zustellbett angeboten, da das Hotel wohl ausgebucht war. Das Zimmer war jedoch dafür viel zu klein und ein Zustellbett ist dann immer noch kein Doppelzimmer. Nachdem meine Tochter dieses, mMn auch unannehmbare, Angebot, ablehnte, wurde noch frech gesagt, dass wenn sie nichts dreckig gemacht haben, können sie, ohne zu bezahlen, abreisen. Dieses taten sie auch und nach einer dreistündigen Anreise erfolgte eine dreistündige Heimreise. In der Zwischenzeit versuchte ich innerhalb von 2 Stunden mindestens ein Dutzend Mal das Hotel zu erreichen. Allerdings ging bei der 24/7 besetzten Rezeption niemand ran! Auf meine Nachricht vom Mittwochabend, über das booking Kontaktformular, hat bis heute (Sonntagmorgen) niemand reagiert. Ich kenne das Verständnis zum Thema Gastfreundschaft des Hotels nicht, aber dem meinigen Verständnis dazu entspricht es auf keinster Weise. Dass die Corona Zeit, gerade für die Hotellerie, einen schweren Einschnitt bedeutet, ist mir klar, aber mit solch einem Verhalten ist dieses Hotel wohl auch nicht mehr zu retten.

This is a modest, slightly old-fashioned hotel. My single room looked quite freshly renovated, though. Enough space to store your things, even a (very small) room safe, a clean and functional bathroom. Cleanliness in the room itself was mediocre (some spots on the carpet and it didn't look like they cleaned the space under the bed, but it wasn't too bad). Quite comfortable bed. Small, acceptable breakfast. The location is convenient, in easily walkable distance from the main train station and close to the Stena Line ferry as well - though the immediate vicinity isn't particularly nice. Reception was closed overnight at the time of my stay. For the price, the hotel is alright.

Super Hotel für die Durchreise gewesen! Frühstück war super lecker und auch Unser Abendessen im Restaurant gleich im Hotel hat uns sehr gemundet. An dem Personal und deren Service gab es absolut gar nichts auszusetzen, die Menschen dort sind alle super zuvorkommend und freundlich! Zimmer war ebenfalls sehr sauber, sowie das Hotel im großen und ganzen! Wer gerne shoppen geht, muss vom Hotel aus überhaupt nicht weit laufen und ist schon im Zentrum! Kommen gerne wieder, wenn es sich nochmal ergeben sollte!!!!

Dieses Hotel haben wir als Start- und Zielpunkt für unsere mehrtägige Radtour am Nord-Ostsee-Kanal entlang ausgesucht. Das Hotel liegt für diese Radtour recht günstig. Das Hotel verfügt zudem über einen abschließbaren und ausreichend großen Fahrradraum, so dass die Fahrräder sicher untergebracht werden konnten. Der Service sowohl beim Empfang, als auch beim Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet, stets sehr sehr freundlich. Auch der Hausmeister ist top, konnte uns mit einem kurzfristig benötigten Werkzeug super weiterhelfen. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und - wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Garten - richtig schön ruhig. Am Abend kann man im lauschigen Garten sitzen und die kleine Bar hat ein kleines aber sehr gutes Angebot an Getränken. Die beiden Ausflüge von hier am Anfangs- und am Endtag sind von hier aus ebenfalls sehr gut zu machen, da der richtige Bus sowohl zum Aussichtspunkt der Schleuse Kiel Südufer, als auch zur Fähre zum Nordufer ganz in der Nähe abfährt und hier auch wieder ankommt. Insgesamt können wir das Hotel sehr gut empfehlen.

We had a spacious (”privilige”) room, new, quiet (even though room was facing the busstation). Good breakfast. Upon departure, we left some valuables in our room, the staff was very helpful in arranging the return of our belongings by mailing it to our home.

We had 3 nights stay in July 2022. This hotel is located right the in center of Lübeck in the old part of the city. The City Hall Square is just 3 min away as well as the nice water channels. Hotel rooms are spacy and some of the cleanest I have ever seen. We had a room facing the street which was fine. We did not experience any noise as it is a very quiet street. Break feast buffet had a nice wide selection and was well organized. Staff was friendly and service minded through out the stay. We used the underground Parking owned by the hotel. The hotel puts up signs with names so there are reserved fixed spots. Note that some of the parking spaces are a bit narrow, even for normal size cars. Also note that the road leading up the parking garage is narrow and bumpy (Old town road) So lower sports cars can have issues) All in all we had an excellent stay and sure choose Atlantic Hotels again

I have been visiting this hotel for over 10 years (expect during Covid). As an amputee (5 yrs ago) and in a wheelchair, the rooms are excellent and have safe and secure wc & shower seat. Staff are just the best in the business. Breakfast has been good for all the years I have visited and the restaurant manager is the same wonderful lady for 10 years. Nothing is too much trouble and good underground parking plus a large lift. 99% perfect just a new mattress which make my room 114 100%. Well done IBIS Germany. Perhaps a few Euros more than it should be even with an Accor card.

Ich war für zwei Nächte mit meinem Hund im Tryp Hotel. Freundlicher, problemloser Check-In, das Zimmer war sehr sauber und für die Hotelkategorie vollkommen in Ordnung eingerichtet. Das Bett war bequem, im Bad hat alles funktioniert, Fernseher lief ohne Probleme mit super Programmen. Auch das Frühstück ließ für mich keine Wünsche offen - Brot, Brötchen und anderes Gebäck, Kaffee, Tee, Milch, Kakao, Säfte, diverse Wurst- und Käsesorten, Marmeladen, Honig, usw., Cerealien, Müsli, Joghurt, Rührei, Bacon, Würstchen... Der Hund durfte in den direkten Frühstücksraum nicht mit rein, da offenes Buffet, aber es gab noch einen Nebenraum wo er mit durfte oder bei schönem Wetter auf die Terrasse, welche direkt an den Früstücksraum angrenzt. Parkplätze sind direkt am Hotel kostenlos gelegen. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, wenn ich mal wieder in Lübeck bin.

Although located next to the station the hotel proved to be a quiet location. The rooms are quite small, lack some amenities (coffee making) but the bed and bedding is comfortable and sleep quality is good. The breakfast was superb with plenty of options. It offered excellent value and was only around 15 minute walk to the old town and its attractions.

Nettes kleineres Hotel mit guter Lage wer etwas laufen kann (15-20 Minuten bis zur Stadtmitte). Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr Freundlich das Frühstück so wie es sein soll und die Zimmer sauber und ordentlich. Parkplätze waren zwar belegt aber es gibt in der nähe genug Ausweichmöglichkeiten die einem vom Personal erklärt werden.

Elektronisches Einchecken am späten Abend funktioniert klaglos. Die Zimmer sind einfach (halt dem Preis entsprechend), aber funktionell und haben gute Betten. Das Frühstück ist angemessen (wenn auch das vorausbezahlte Frühstück in der Liste diesmal anscheinend nicht aufschien). Wir kannten das Hotel schon von früheren Aufenthalten und es bietet alles, was man für eine kurze Nacht braucht, inkl. Parkplatz. Leider war der Boden des Zimmers diesmal (zum ersten Mal) sehr unsauber, was den Gesamteindruck wirklich nachhaltig getrübt hat.

Das Hotel ist modern eingerichtet, unser Zimmer war geräumig und sauber. Rezeption und Restaurant-Service waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist für Reisende, die eine Seefahrt von Fehmarn aus machen wollen, optimal. Für Touristen, die einfach die Insel erkunden wollen, liegt es auch sehr verkehrsgünstig.

In general we enjoyed our stay but it is a shame that it is ruined due to many mixed factors. For example, there is a great variation in the service one receives from the staff. Some are very service-minded and smiling. Others look at you sourly and continue speaking German (even quickly) even though you have informed them that you do not understand German. Another thing is that it is stated on the website that smoking is not allowed in the apartments or on the balcony. However, smoking occurs in all the apartments. This was clearly visible from the outside and noticeable when you couldn't keep the balcony door open without getting cigarette smoke inside. And when you try to make people aware of this, they just continue. We had a little baby with us that had trouble sleeping because of it. There is no signage or anything else indicating that smoking is not allowed, so I can understand that some guests are unsure. But that is no excuse, how can it be family friendly when there is so much smoking and no consequences. However, several of the shared facilities, such as the swimming area and climbing course, are very nice. But the issue with smoking is a significant factor in why we are unlikely to return.

Jeden Samstagabend gibt es von 17:30 bis 20:30 Uhr einen Tapas-Abend im Country Hotel Timmendorfer Strand. Die Teilnahme kostet 33 Euro pro Person (2023) zuzüglich Getränken. Es gibt ein Büffet, einige warme Tapas wurden serviert. Leider gab es keine Menükarte auf der steht, welche Tapas im Laufe des Abends serviert werden, sodass es etwas schwierig ist, sich am Büffet zu bedienen, da man nicht weiß, was noch kommt. Bei meinem Besuch war das Restaurant nicht sehr voll, obwohl es Juni war und der Ort voll war. Es gab viele freie Plätze, die meisten Gäste waren wohl Hotelgäste mit Halbpension. Die Servicemitarbeiterin und ihr Kollege waren sehr nett und bemüht, auch der Koch war präsent und kontrollierte regelmäßig das Büffet und erkundigte sich, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Positiv war auch, dass alle Speisen, bis auf die Salate, beschriftet waren. Auf dem Büffet gab es eine Suppe, Salate, kalte Vorspeisen, warme Speisen und Nachtisch. Bei einigen Komponenten habe ich mich gefragt, wo der Bezug zu Spanien ist. Als Suppe gab es eine Knoblauchcremesuppe. Diese war schmackhaft, der Knoblauch war identifizierbar, aber der Geschmack von Gemüsebrühe dominierte. Das Salatbüffet war umfangreich, bestand jedoch zum Großteil aus zugekauften Fertigprodukten. Es gab drei verschiedene Blattsalate, Tomaten, Gurkenscheiben, Paprikastreifen, Mixed Pickels aus dem Glas, Kidneybohnensalat, hellen Bohnensalat (wenig Geschmack), Mozzarellakugeln, rote Bete Salat, klaren Kartoffelsalat, Karottensalat süß-sauer (lecker), Spargelsalat mit Ei (kaum Geschmack), Kürbissalat süß-sauer (schmackhaft). Bis auf die frischen Komponenten (Blattsalate, Gurke, Tomate, Paprika) waren es alles fertig gekaufte Convenience-Produkte, schade! Dazu gab es drei verschiedene Dressings (French, American und Vinaigrette), drei verschiedene Essige und Olivenöl. Außerdem gab es Baguette, Butter und sechs Dips, die mir jedoch alle nicht wirklich schmeckten (Aioli, Ajvar, Creme aus getrockneter Tomate, Zucchinicreme (geschmacksneutral), Auberginecreme (geschmacksneutral) und Guacamole). Daneben gab es Weinblätter, Oliven und Sushi-Ingwer, außerdem Puten-Käse-Wraps und vegetarische Salat-Wraps. Außerdem gab es ein kleines Käsebrett mit wenigen Trauben. Auf der anderen Seite des Büffets gab es Feta in Scheiben, Chorizo, exzellenten und hauchdünnen S*****en, kleine Silberzwiebeln in dunklem Balsamico (Keine Borretane Zwiebeln!), getrocknete Tomaten und gegrillte Zucchini mit Aioli gefüllt. Der Garnelensalat mit Karotte, Sellerie, Paprika, Gurke und Lauch in klarer Marinade war süß-sauer abgeschmeckt und sehr lecker, die Garnelen waren allerdings geschmacklich nicht sehr intensiv. Auch der Meeresfrüchtesalat war süß-sauer abgeschmeckt und mit knackigen Gemüsewürfeln und ebenfalls schmackhaft, allerdings war in beiden Salaten der Gemüseanteil sehr hoch. Beide Salate waren für mich aber ein Highlight des Abends. Als warme Komponenten gab es Patatas Bravas, Papas Arrugades, Schweinenackensteak mit Krä

Wir hatten uns über Silvester zwei Tage inklusive Frühstück eingebucht. Die Lage ist perfekt, man kommt nach Verlassen des Hotels direkt in die Innenstadt hinein und hatten den Weihnachtsmarkt noch am letzten Tag direkt vor der Haustür. Die gepflegten und sauberen Zimmer sind nicht allzu modern aber das stört überhaupt nicht, im Gegenteil, es passt einfach zum Hotel. Wir aßen einen Abend im hoteleigenen Restaurant und das Essen sowie die Bedienung waren super! Wir fanden nichts zu bemängeln. Im Hotelhof gibt es einige kostenlose Parkplätze, man muss jedoch einmal hintenrum in die Parallelstraße fahren, um diese zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist Standard. Es gab nichts besonderes aber auch nicht etwas, das uns persönlich fehlte. Was positiv auffiel, ist, dass es beim Frühstück sowie auch beim Abendessen sehr sauber war. Die Mitarbeiter waren stets höflich und nett. Wir kommen wieder zum Fehmarn-Marathon.
