Hotel Dengan Wifi di Catalonia, Spain

We spent a weekend at Aiguablava Parador in Begur. We were a party of four people. The good points were the location, the rooms (comfortable beds, fabulous sea view, spacious rooms, nice amenities) the hotel is very spacious and tastefully decorated. The swimming pool, at the top end of the cliff, although not massive, is large enough and with fantastic views of the area. A very privileged position with views of Aiguablava cove and a private path down to the cove. Breakfast was varied and good quality in general and served in the breakfast room with gorgeous views. Freshly squeezed fruit juice and good quality coffee. The negatives were the check in experience, too long and with an inexperienced receptionist who lacked aptitude in the treatment of experienced travelers/customers and couldn’t get my name right. There was a general lack of coordination between departments (reception and restaurant) our evening meal reservation was not communicated to the restaurant either of the two days and my name was wrong in all departments from beginning to end even though the receptionist had access to my ID card and the online booking form. The evening meals were sub standard. Generally unpleasant food, tasteless fish and a dirty lukewarm brown sauce, packet custard-based deserts. Brick sized chunks of melon as fruit salad. Some dishes were inedible. A very limited wine list and very expensive wines. The service in the restaurant varied from pleasant to inappropriate with some comments from waiting staff demonstrating their inexperience and unsuitability to work in a hotel of this category, even though they were pleasant and kind at all times. On a final note, I requested by telephone if it would be possible to have some candles on a desert on our final evening as we were celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday. The receptionist said it would be no problem but it was not communicated to the restaurant and forgotten. As there had been so many hiccups with communication in general I didn’t bother to even try to remind them.

El servicio ha sido estupendo, las instalaciones la verdad que están muy bien. El personal del hotel ha sido muy amable y el servicio en recepción ágil. La cama ha sido super cómoda, no se escucha casi el ruido de la calle. La habitación en general y el baño estaban limpios y en buen estado. Es ideal para descansar si estas de paso por Girona. Hay desayuno buffet, que le incluiría algunas opciones más de proteína. La cafetera y agua son servicios gratuitos 24hrs. Hemos tenido una estancia agradable.

Hotel muy señorial, bonito, habitaciones y baño amplias. Piscina y Spa. Desayuno buffet muy completo y rico. Restaurante con menú, te dan la opción de que sí el día de salida, reservas un tratamiento o comida restaurante, te dejan la habitación hasta las 18,00. Una maravilla para poder aprovechar el día.

Arriving at the hotel, the employee behind the counter was very friendly. The hotel itself has a good location for when you are traveling. It’s pretty basic but has anything you need when roadtripping. It has a supermarket next to it and also a little fridge to keep drinks cold. It also has a tv with Google Chromecast so you can stream from your phone. The airco in the room did his work - which was needed, outside temperature was about 38/39 degrees - and the room looked clean. It was a spacious room but I think the room was also for disabled given the shower with aids. It was room number 1. We went to the Monegros Festival on Saturday and the hotel is located about 30 minutes from it so a perfect base to go from here. I would recommend. The hotel really could use an outside pool give the temperatures in Lleida in the summer but it is what it is …

Fue un fin de semana estupendo. Le di una sorpresa muy grata a mi mujer llevándola. Lo que me desconcertó fue la decoración de las estancias. Me esperaba algo más acorde al lugar. Parecía una habitación de cualquier otro hotel. El restaurante y su servicio es excelente. Muy recomendable. En conclusión, una experiencia muy completa y satisfactoria!

Un hotel céntrico, muy moderno y acogedor/ñ. Recomendado para todos.

Por lo general muy bien, me permitieron late checkout y me cambiaron de habitación al no ser cama doble como ponía en la descripción de trip.com en la cual también ponía que había bañera pero no había... La limpieza bien, cama muy cómoda, ubicación buena, quizás lo que menos el desayuno, le faltaba algo de selección para ser un 4 estrellas, era todo demasiado simple, pero el señor que estaba en la sección de huevos y creps hechos al momento fue muy amable (Yusef), bien por lo general. El spa no sé dónde queda, ni hacen alusión de ello. Por lo tanto que se llame Hotel & Spa me parece un poco innecesario.

Super mooi nieuw hotel met meerdere zwembaden. Aardig personeel en uitgebreid ontbijt buffet. Wij waren hier voor 3 dagen in oktober maar zijn zeker van plan terug te komen in de zomer!

Très bel hôtel qui propose un repas assez varié pour buffet et aussi pour le petit déjeuner. La chambre est spacieuse et bien insonorisée, le ménage n'était pas impeccable (quelques cheveux par si par là). Dans l'ensemble nous avons passé un bon séjour, nous n'avons pas pu profiter du jacuzzi sur la terrasse car certains stores n'étaient plus en place ce qui laissait pas mal de vis à vis.

I had a great experience here, I really enjoyed the vibe of the hostel, and made a lot of friends. Everything is good except for the ventilation, the housekeeping lady needs to open the windows manually in the daytime and close them in the evening. The air conditioning system seems not working, so in the evening, it will be a bit suffocating and steamy inside. It’s the situation in the 4 people room.
