Our family of six visited this hotel restaurant in anticipation of a really good new year dinner . We were met by a group of surly disinterested arrogant staff .who could not offer a smile or a welcome . The food was disgraceful most of the dishes came out stone cold asked waiter to reheat the meal ten minutes later came back as cold as before and scattered all over the plate . what really annoyed me was they tried to defend themselves instead of making a new meal . eventually had a conversation with the manager.who out of a group of staff was the only one with any English ability . To her credit she gave me her apologies.an intensive training program for the staff around customer service and a new chef would do this place the world of good .but I don't think I will ever know because I won't return .

4 star resort with 5 star prices & 3 star services. Mar 2024 Vietnam is a very beautiful & culturally rich country. We visited Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hoi An, Da Nang & Ninh Binh on 11D/LON trip. Hospitality, reception & local immersion was outstanding at all places (except Emeralda) - people were welcoming & hotel staff were very courteous. Emeralda Resort at Ninh Binh was not so pleasant experience barring a few seasoned staff members. F&B Manager at Sen Restauran (morning paid breakfast) declined to entertain vegan food request & puréed fruit for 7 month infant, She said Kitchen's busy, we have large group to cater to. After much explanation she managed to get a fried rice (that's It!l) but for puréed fruit she denied & insisted I pay for it. Organic Restaurant is good, couple of staff there (mostly women) were courteous. Pool Bar attendant had some issues, not even acknowledging the greetings. Thanks to Ms Hung (Restaurant Manager), Mr Chung (Reception) & another Restaurant manager at Organic (missed her name) for making our stay bearable & manageable. They have a very wonderful property & spacious rooms, had the service been at par like ot 4 & 5 star resorts; it would be an ideal location for tranquility. Note: Vegan / Vegetarian food menu is limited & not allowed to buy food from outside.

I was there because my friend recommended it. She said the owner is friendly, and indeed, both the owner and her sister are super friendly. I arrived at the homestay in the afternoon, around 2 pm, and the owner and her sister were kind enough to serve me cold drinks with a cupcake. They also recommended some nice places to cycle and even rented me their bicycles for free. The next day, I wanted to go to Halong Bay but hadn't bought any packages or bus tickets yet. The owner was kind enough to recommend a nice limousine driver to take me to the port. The driver arranged for me a nice 6-hour cruise trip around Halong Bay, and even a trip back to Hanoi on the same day. When I departed in the morning, the owner packed me a package of junk food, a rice, and served me a variety of fruits for breakfast. The room is clean, the air conditioning is functioning well, and the hot water too. Everything is amazing. I would highly recommend this homestay, and I would love to come back again.

리뷰보면 2023년에 설립된 리조트라서 직원들 교육이 완벽하지 않다라는 걸 많이 봤는데 시간이 지나서 그런지 만족했음 물론 조금 허술한것같지만 그정도는 ㄱㅊㄱㅊ 걍 실수라고 생각하면 될듯 위치도 너무 좋았음 밤에 리조트주변 호수? 걸으면 완벽함 탐콕시내 중간에 있어서 시내 양 끝에 편하게 갈 수 있음 조식도 맛있음 양이 엄청엄청 다양한거는 아닌데 나쁘지 않음 그리고 리조트가 생각보다 작은데 아기자기하게 예쁘게 꾸밈 굳 만족함

We’ve booked a one-week trip with Mr Truong. It was just incredible and we highly recommend him. We’ve seen beautiful places up north where we could live local adventures away from tourist spots. He organized for us a French-speaking guide who was amazing. Truong is a very good driver, a flexible and smart person. He even found a solution for us to avoid the typhoon. We stayed three nights in his friendly home and everything was perfect (cleaned room, tasty meals and lovely atmosphere). Thank you again Mr Truong and family for making our trip unforgettable. Tam Ha (one of the staffs) had assisted us throughout our stay. Easy to communicate. We reached the hotel around 7am and they let us rest in the massage room while waiting for the check-in time (2pm). At 10am - room was ready for us to check-in. She even upgraded our room and thus, we had bathtub 🥰. They lent us a steamer for us to iron our clothes. Bicycles available to stroll around town (free) and motorcycles available for rent at 60k dong for half day. They even had so many services which sadly we had no time to experience. We did try the complimentary tea time and it was nice to hv a chat at the rooftop with such perfect view. I would recommend this hotel. Service 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Tam Ha even personally came to our room to check on us so that we didn’t miss our flight on the check-out day. The other staffs were also friendly and kind. They assisted us promptly. Technician helped to fix our room telephone and carry our baggage. Everything went perfectly well and this had contributed to our great time in Ninh Binh.

10/10 Detailed review from an American. Room: clean, modern, upscale. Western-style furniture. Spacious beds. Nice furniture, free toothbrushes and combs, lovely bathroom facilities. Noise level: PEACEFUL and QUIET! Relaxing, if you want to escape the city noise. It is the countryside after all. You can see water buffalo herds in the fields nearby if you take a walk outside the hotel. I can watch them from my hotel window. Staff and service: AMAZING! So friendly and helpful and honest hardworking staff. Won't cheat or scam. Use google translate if needed. Honestly the staff made our stay so good we extended the stay an extra day. Ask them for local recommendations (they don't get a kickback from any recommendations so its all genuine) Food: RECOMMENDED! Especially for travelers afraid of getting food poisoning or upset stomach from street food. Restaurant quality, home-cooked/cooked-to-order meal. Clean kitchen facility. Good prices, cheap. Made with love, the manager herself cooked a lot of the meals for us and they were delicious (for reference, im vietnamese-american so in my humble opinion, the authenticity is excellent and pleasing to a western palate as well. Personal Recommendation: Want a nice dinner thats still authentic? Order your food and eat outdoors in the cool of the evening, try the barbeque-it-yourself beef and goat. Delicious, hand-marinated quality beef cuts and goat, and they give you a little tabletop BBQ pit for you to bbq your meat just how you like it. Order some side dishes and its a great and fun family meal. If you want to and the staff aren't busy, they can bbq it for you if you want, but I think its fun to do it yourself. The location is out in the countryside but don't be alarmed because the hotel is a short drive from the main city center and tourist spots. The bad: - The beer is warm lol. They should refrigerate it. - Tip: if you ask for ”wine”, note that its vietnamese hard liquor, not the western understanding of wine (grapes). - There's a stupid rooster nearby from one of the local farms and it likes to crow all day. If you stay in the downstairs rooms you might be able to hear it, but if you stay in the upper floors you can't hear it. Would stay again.

Beautiful little homestay, on a quiet side street in Tam Coc, run by a very nice couple, Tommy and Lily. Spacious rooms , very clean, balcony, very good breakfast on the patio, with excellent coffee! Tommy was super helpful to arrange our transfer by bus, even at the last minute, and he walked us to the bus stop and waited to make sure we got on OK! They are both fluent in English, and very friendly. We greatly recommend!

The staff were very courteous and went our of their way to tell us about the highlights of Ninh Binh (places of interest and food). The room were very spacious and clean although it felt a bit warm as we couldn’t turn down the thermostat. Breakfast was excellent, there were many choices although we couldn’t eat much.

Simple, rustic hotel in Ninh Binh. We stayed here for two nights to explore Ninh Binh. From the start, D, the hotel staff was very prompt in answering our inquiries which was very assuring for a pleasant stay. Our private airport transfer to the hotel went without a hitch. Arriving at the hotel in the morning, we were offered breakfast which was well appreciated. The room was spacious and clean but needs refurbishment. The place is peaceful and quiet. Overall a very good stay.

The best part of this hotel was the location. It’s in a quieter part of Tam Coc about 10 minutes’ walk from the centre. It’s on the main road, but you are one street back and there are rice fields right behind you. Tam Coc town itself isn’t that nice. Super touristy and tacky but it’s where most the restaurants and shops are so it’s nice being in a spot where it’s accessible, but you can also escape. The hotel itself is nice but definitely 3-star. That’s not a critique as it doesn’t sell itself as higher than that, but I think some of the photos flatter it a bit. The pool area is beautiful, overlooking the rice fields. Rooms are clean and a good size but a little worn. The staff and owner are lovely. English isn’t strong even by Vietnamese standards, so needed to use the translator app a fair bit but was never a problem. They have free bicyles to rent and they are good quality. I was impressed. You can get to most of the main sites from the hotel by peddle bike if you have a basic level of fitness. Motor scooters can also be rented for cheap. A couple of small opportunities for the hotel. It took me 3 days to get hand soap in my room. I did ask and got told it’s on the wall. Only saw body wash on the wall so assumed that’s all there was but the cleaners eventually noticed and put in hand soap. Also, the fridge wasn’t working throughout the duration of my stay. Thirdly, the hotel has those bathtub showers but no curtain or screen so it’s impossible to shower without soaking the bathroom floor. Should put some in. Would be an easy fix. Overall, I would recommend the hotel. It is good value and in a great location. Thanks for having me. I definitely enjoyed my stay!

I'm not going to lie, when we first checked in here I was extremely skeptical as our initial room was not up to par. After going back and forth with my Husband on whether or not to move to another spot we decided to give it a chance and asked to switch rooms instead. The Woman (I am so sad/sorry I did not get her name and will lovingly refer to her as Boss Lady) at the desk heard our concerns and immediately got us switched over to another room that was WAY better. Long story short, out of our 2 weeks in Vietnam (luxury hotels and otherwise) I think this was our favorite stay. Our best breakfast in Vietnam was here. It was delicious and made me feel like it was made with love and that brightened my spirits. Boss Lady helped me make a perfect 2 day itinerary in the region and helped me avoid some pitfalls. She also recommended an amazing massage spot. I felt like she was a trusted friend. Boss Lady and her family made our stay magical. I booked this homestay after a recommendation from Lilly at Grand Hotel Du Lac in Hanoi. I'm so happy we took her advice. We loved this homestay and can't wait to return.

Really friendly and nice receptionist, message to check what time i will be arriving. Good location and walking distance to mua cave and scenic viewpoint. Mình tình cờ thấy MH Cherish khi tìm khách sạn ở khu vực trung tâm thành phố Ninh Bình cho gia đình 4 người (có em bé 9 tháng). Khách sạn nằm ở khu vực yên tĩnh, mang lại cảm giác dễ chịu. Nhân viên cực kỳ nhiệt tình và sẵn sàng hỗ trợ khách. Các phòng đều sáng, thoáng mát. Giá phòng khá tốt, phù hợp với chất lượng.

Secluded and charming spot surrounded by the limestone mountains - it had a relaxed eco resort feel and was a great retreat after the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. We stayed for two days with our two young children and spent most of it at the pool, watching the goats clamber around the surrounding rocks, and enjoying the food served at Fairy Mountain's restaurant. There were tours, bikes, etc. available but we just enjoyed staying at the resort. Thuy, our main contact during the stay, made sure we had everything we needed - would definitely come back again!

관광을 목적으로 한다면 위치는 너무 좋습니다. 가성비로 따진다면 역시 최고 입니다. 우리가 평가를 하기전에 호텔에 지불한 비용을 생각한다면 약간의 아쉬움은 감수해야 합니다. 시설은 오래 되었고, 청결한 실내는 아니며, 일반적인 호텔 서비스를 기대하기는 아쉽네요. 사장님의 친절은 기대해도 좋습니다.

It is a little while ago that we visited this beautiful place for three nights. But we love to think back to these days in Ninh Bình. We walked all the way from the Ninh Bình Train station and we was starving and worried about our chance to get dinner due to the fact that it was already late in the evening. But the overwhelming, very friendly welcome at the hotel let passed away our worries. The lovely staff cooked a great vietnamese food for us and the start for the stay couldnt be better. The hotel room, like a own bungalow, was beautiful designed, very clean and comfortable. The whole area was very well maintained with a nice pool, garden and even palmtrees. The both girls who run the hotel during our stay there was remarkable friendly and an awesome example for vietnamese hospitality. They offered us rental bikes, explanations to the destination and even a local healthy plant to eat while my girlfriend had a little flu during our trip. It is such an idyllic, perfect place for exploring the unforgettable landscape of Ninh Bình. We wish all the best for Ninh Bình Rustic Hotel and were very thankful for the amazing time there.

A pleasant surprise in beautiful surroundings tucked away in the jungle. The room we had chosen had no air con (our choice as they as they do have rooms with Aircon) but the very friendly staff supplied us with 2 fans. The room and beds were clean. The staff were very friendly and help some. You can rent scooters and bicycles at very affordable prices. The food was good. Chez Boe is located only about 5 minuets ride from Mue Caves and Tam Coc. The river boats are about 15 minuets ride away, so the location is very central, yet you feel far away from all the noise of the modern world, with only the noise of Nature which makes it a great place to unwind. Can highly recommend staying here.

the villa and facilities are excellent, breakfast spread was also decent with an option for local vietnamese pho bo. however location is slightly further away from the main attractions like Tam Coc or Mua Caves

L'accueil, la bienveillance, la gentillesse, l'aide, vraiment tout est excellent! La famille qui gère ce petit hôtel est vraiment top! La chambre est spacieuse, les lits très confortables, grande salle de bain avec eau chaude, de l'eau et du café à disposition. Les petits déjeuner sont variés et savoureux! Il y a des vélos a disposition et aussi des scooters en location. Il n'y a rien à reprocher, je recommande sans problème, vous ne serez vraiment pas déçu! Merci à eux et à Nguyen!
