The Commercial

Given it's football season, let's quote a pundit's line: The Commercial is a pub of two halves. As you enter, you can go left into the blue and white wood panelled area which leads to a beer garden. Here are the old pictures and the matching chairs so well known in gastropubs. Turning right takes you to a smaller room with exposed brick and red painted walls with a view into the back of the bar. There are smaller tables, a fireplace and the room's dimmer than it's neighbour. If you study the floor you can tell where a larger bar used to be, a wide strip of metal denoting its former posution. There's also a huge tv which right now is probably showing every Euros match it can.
