We loved our long term stay in La Maison Suisse, Dottingen. We felt treated like family and everyone was kind, welcoming and very helpful! Our two room suite met our needs perfectly. Chef Andreas made us wonderful delicious breakfast every morning. He went out of his way to cater to our needs. The front desk and reception were amazing. Dmitrii, Carolina, Monica & Marcos provided superb customer service. Loren leads by example! Housekeeping was attentive to our needs. If we are back in this area again, we will be back. We will telling our friends about LMS. Close by is a bird sanctuary and lovely peaceful countryside. Thank you everyone for welcoming us and treating us like family! We look forward to visiting the new LMS in Lucerne next year!

Although we had a few minor complaints about this hotel it really was a good place to stay. Like other reviews we could not get the room to cool down. Maybe they hadn’t turned on the air conditioning yet? They also had the flattest pillows I have ever seen. I had to use 2. Bed and room were comfortable. There were a few English tv stations mostly British. Breakfast was amazing. Plenty of food and it was replenished often. Hours were 6-10 weekdays and 7-11 weekends Loredana in the breakfast room was absolutely amazing. Anything you needed she was ready to help. You can also have eggs custom made for you by the chef. Front desk staff was very helpful as well. Zurich is a quick trip on the tram and train. The tram is right behind the hotel and front desk staff is quick to give instructions on how to get there. Be aware Zurich has some of the highest public transport costs in the world. The trip to Zurich is 7 Swiss Francs each way per person. It was very convenient that the hotel has free laundry. Pods were available from the front desk for approximately 2 Francs. The hotel is also within walking distance to a huge mall which also has some grocery stores. McDonald’s and Burger King are also a short walk away

Super central, newt to the train station, it is clean and cute, but the hotel 2 sides are facing 2 very busy streets. I was set in a double room on 1st floor and you could hear all the buses every 5mns coming out from the central bus station. My room was nicely designed, about 25 sqm, bed was comfy, and room had a nespresso machine. On the corridor there was even a nespresso tea machine. Breakfast isn't glorious at all, the cappuccino coming from am Automated machine was not drinkable, albeit I stayed 2 nights, and had 2 Breakfast, it was the same quality (poor) and limited choice every morning. The.gym is more a closet with weights, no tread mill or any machine. For that the price was i found exorbitant, 210 chf a night, in zurich you pay less and get more, so for Baden you can definitely get better hotels for less too.

Visiting the area, I chose this hotel for its convenient access by public transport - bus every 15min to downtown Baden - and reasonable price - cheaper than in the city centre. My overnight stay was excellent. A big thumbs-up for the whole staff: whether at reception or during breakfast, each team member was smiling and helpful. The room reflected the usual Ibis standards. Bed and mattress of good quality - I slept perfectly well. Congrats for the soundproofing which is truly excellent: despite the busy road passing by and the motorway just at the back of the hotel, I did not hear any noise at all. Compared to other Ibis hotels, this property is offering air-conditioning in all rooms - much appreciated during the hot days. As usual in Switzerland, room and bathroom spotlessly clean. Thumbs-up for the breakfast offer with a generous and tasty buffet: Various breads and Danish pastries from local bakeries, Swiss cheese, cold cuts, yoghurt and birchermuesli, fresh fruit salad, various preserves. Even scrambled eggs are available. All in all, an excellent and tasty experience, better than in other Ibis properties. This is an excellent address for a stay in Baden, with outstanding value for money. I will gladly come back.

Absolut fantastic hotel, new and beautiful - this is my favorit stay when I am in the area, absolutely wonderful. I will like to give 10 start, the rooms are cosy and modern and wonderful. Easy to park, easy checkin, very nice staff.

Room was comfy and well laid out - breakfast was great and the restaurant was very good for dinner too. Hotel is in a good location within a quick walk of a couple of supermarkets and the local brewery! There are both surface and underground parking so parking was no issue.

Hôtel très confortable. Magnifique salle de bain avec douche italienne. Machine à café et à thé à l'étage : très pratique. Excellente ambiance grâce à un personnel très attentionné, aimable et professionnel. Petit déjeuner de rêve. Très bon rapport qualité prix. A recommander sans réserve.

Mein Mann und ich waren für eine Nacht im Hotel Engel, da wir in Zofingen eine Veranstaltung besuchten. Wir haben uns total wohlgefühlt, und das Hotel ist sehr schön, sauber und geschmackvoll dezent eingerichtet. Schon die Dame an der Rezeption bei der Ankunft war sehr freundlich und das Frühstücksbuffet am Morgen war reichhaltiger und schöner als in manchen 4* Hotels. Wiederum eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Dame an der Rezeption. Wir können dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen und werden es ganz sicher bei nächster Gelegenheit wieder wählen.

Einfach gut, sauber und ordentlich......die Dame am Empfang freundlich und das Frühstück richtig gut und lässt keine Wünsche offen.... und wir konnten auch länger frühstücken sehr große Auswahl.... Respekt Wir kommen gerne wieder hierher

Anreise und einchecken SUPER! Klasse Personal, nett und kompetent. Minus: 25Franken für die Tiefgarage bei einem Zimmerpreis von 90, plus 25 für das Frühstück? Ja ich weiss, Schweiz ist nicht Deutchland...aber dieser ”Nebenverdienst” ist schon lächerlich. Hier sollte die Preispolitik mal der Zeit angepasst werden. Das Zimmer ist klasse. Super isoliert, modern eingerichtet, ein tolles und auch grosses Bad. Ich hab im Bett super geschlafen. Sehr sauber! Gut, das ”Designerwaschbecken” ist jetzt nicht sooo der Hit. Vorallem da man sich beim benutzen selbst vollsaut! Auch das auschecken verlief Problemlos. Das die 25Franken Tiefgarage natürlich bei der Ausfahrt zickte und man an der Rezeption eher hilflos war und erst jemanden anrufen musste der einen Schlüssel für die Schranke hat...Wiegesagt: Tiefgarage lachhaft! Rest TOP!
