Gorgeous, simple hotel that does all the important things right and then goes a step beyond. So much thought put into the small details in the rooms, which are beautifully decorated without being too sparse or overwhelming. Very central to Tralee.

Our two night stay was the most enjoyable experience ever. The hotel has a lovely cool and relaxing vibe, with a dedicated space where you can sit and contemplate looking out to the ocean.
Being served your breakfast was a welcome experience (one you don’t get in most hotels). It was a pleasure to come back in the evenings after spending the day strolling around the town.
The hotel offers great entertainment in their comfortable lounge. And of course the staff were friendly throughout the hotel.
I will definitely be going back for a visit.

Puaskan selera anda di O'Connors Restaurant, sebuah restoran yang menampilkan bar/ruang istirahat dan pemandangan taman. Sean was welcoming friendly and very helpful. Salmon Leap is a more traditional place to stay than some tourists might want, but it was fine for us. Pretty location in a valley, not too far from Killarney (20 min drive). Delicious local sourced food very nice indeed in sensible portion sizes but Sean is more than happy to provide more if wanted- the breakfast including the coffee was savage (very nice!). Internet works ok which helps as there’s no mobile signal in the valley. Sadly couldn’t get the TV channels to work in the room but there’s a TV in the lounge, and you can use the room TV to watch YouTube/netflix/prime but you’ll need to log into your account which we couldn’t do as they wanted to send security code to our phone- which had no pickup. Didn’t spoil our stay in this lovely farmhouse BnB. Oh and the beds are sooo comfy. And the decor is perfect for visitors as a slice of traditional ireland :) bring your own shower gel/ shampoo, and there was no tea/coffee facility we could find in our room, but neither affected us. We’d really recommend as long as telephone contact and TV don’t matter. Nice.

Прекрасные завтраки с потрясающим видом на озеро. Душевное место, но, отель позиционирует себя как спа, однако бассейн маленький с холодной водой, плитка старая, отваливается. Джакузи не работало. Хаммама и спа нет на территории зоны отдыха. Могут предоставить иногда отдельно, в качестве комплимента, находится отдельно.
Так же, мы доплатили за вид на озеро, но перед озером было кладбище. Нужно предупреждать о таких нюансах. Это испортило атмосферу.

We stayed for 2 nights in October 2025 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very cute, not like a standard hotel room. The restaurant was very good and everyone was very friendly. It was in a great location for sightseeing-we did the Ring of Kerry while we were staying and we would have loved to stay longer. We hope to return some day!

The location is good coz it's not too far from city and attractive place, also there are the resfaurant and convenient store neqrby. The room and toilet is super huge and we got the coffee maker in the room. The staff was helpful and the hotel has big parking. One thing is the electricity is black out by no reason twice that we stayed two nights and we closed the door and get in again, then the electricity resume normal. Also, the staffs or someoneelse were behind our toilet and smoked behind there and bad smell come to our room at night

Excellent central location. Comfortable bed in a spacious room. Clean facilities. Friendly staff. The public car parks nearby are reasonably priced and within a short walking distance. The price for the room, including breakfast, was very good value. I would stay here again.

Love Killarney Royal Hotel. Elegant and cozy. Our suite at the front of the hotel was spacious and light. We didn’t mind facing the Main Street as we like to observe people going and coming. My friend got a bigger suite but it faced the inside so there was not much natural light and was dark. Breakfast was delicious. Service was great from the receptionist to the breakfast ladies and a special mention to John the bellman who recommended great restaurants, helped with our luggage’s and even hop in our car to show us the way to the carpark and walked back with us (3mn walk). Kudos to all the team for making our stay in Killarney memorable.

Very Good
Christina O’Neil was an amazing host and made us feel right at home. In addition to a sparkling clean and comfortable room, the breakfast was wonderful and the view from the sun room was spectacular. Every morning during our delicious breakfast, Christina would ask us where we were off to for the day. 5 minutes later, she would bring us maps and tips to make our outing even more fantastic. The next time we saw her, she would ask about our day. I felt like I was staying with a dear aunt and she was a treasure!! I would highly recommend this hotel for the comfort and especially the hospitality.

Two bedrooms and another bathroom are very convenient for a family. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven. There is a Polish supermarket downstairs, which sells all Polish goods. It would be better if the goods were more complete.
