Fantastic stay. I only wish we had booked longer. The staff truly made it exceptional. They were warm, attentive and always going the extra mile.
The hotel’s design is stylish and welcoming and the location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of a vibrant area with great nightlife just outside. Despite that it still feels calm and relaxing inside.
The beds were incredibly comfortable (slept amazingly) and the buffet plus all the thoughtful extras were a great touch. The hotel coffee is good and having Luckin Coffee connected to the building was a bonus since it’s my personal favorite.
Next time I’m in Xi’an I won’t even look anywhere else.

Great location in the Muslim Quarter. Lots of food around, short walk to the bell tower, near the buses to the Terracotta Army, and a short subway ride to all the other main attractions. It’s down an alley, but there are a lot of signs t make to it easy to find, and it also means it’s very quiet despite being in the middle of a popular area. The owners were friendly. I visited in winter and they made sure the room was heated in advance of my arrival. It was quite cozy.

The family is extremely accommodating. They picked me up and dropped me off at the train station as well as Mt Huashan. The lovely woman was so helpful with getting me tickets to do the buses and cable cars which I had trouble doing myself online. The man was also very lovely. Very clean facilities and graciously accommodating couple. Wished my stay was longer and would definitely come back again!

The hotel is very good and conveniently located near many attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The room was comfortable and the overall environment was pleasant.
What made the stay even better was the excellent service from the staff. In particular, Jason provided outstanding support and service throughout my stay. He was very helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist whenever needed. His professionalism and warm attitude truly made a great impression.
Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

A really lovely stay. I stayed for three nights and although the english was very limited for a western hotel chain, the staff were always friendly and helped me when I had questions. The room was really spacious and the price amazing for including breakfast. Shower was great. The breakfast is Chinese style just to bear in mind and it’s in a nice location next to the East Gate. If I ever return to Xi’an I would stay here again

The room is large and very clean. We booked a room with mountain view and it was so stunning!.
The owner is very kind and generous. Although she doesn't speak English but she's very good at using the translator application. She's very helpful and provided us unexpected services. She droved us to the Huashan ticket center and train station when we went back to Xian.
Absolutely recommend to stay!

酒店新房間新開不久，現代時尚裝修顏值在線，乾淨整潔又舒適。服務貼心到位，老闆熱情實在，景區內電瓶車接送隨叫隨到，購票還能享優惠，工作人員温柔耐心，細節拉滿。早餐按位上，健康精緻，吃得很舒心。
景區配套超豐富，飛鳥樂園孩子玩到不想走，纜車直達周公廟，還有實景演出可看，晚上陝旅版《封神演義》劇場震撼又好看。這次行程太緊湊沒玩盡興，已經和孩子約定下次再來二刷，親子度假住這裏真的太合適了！

The location of the hotel is very centralised. Room was clean & spacious. However, the hotel staff were not so friendly & helpful. Daily breakfast was very routine, needs to be improved.

We had a wonderful stay in a Family Room which can be hard to find in China. Hotel was new and modern and in a brilliant location. Easy walk to the Bell Tower and the South Gate.
The free afternoon tea and fridges of bottled water are a nice touch and the staff are very helpful and responsive.
The two laundry rooms are clean with modern appliances too.

LLiguaishouThe service was excellent. On my first day, I arrived in the rain, and the front desk staff was incredibly kind. Noticing I was lightly dressed, she quickly checked for an available room and allowed me to check in. I was truly grateful for her thoughtfulness.
Cleanliness: Absolutely spotless.
The location is also very convenient, with a subway station and a shopping mall nearby.

GGuest UserI'm only getting around to writing this review now, after a trip before Chinese New Year, because the experience was truly memorable and worth savoring. The hotel's location is excellent; it's not far from attractions like the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Forest of Steles. On a good day, you can walk to them, or if you're feeling lazy, a taxi ride is quick. Getting to the Grand Tang Everbright City and Furong Garden is also smooth, whether by metro or taxi. The hotel's surroundings are very quiet, and once you enter the grounds, it feels like a private garden. Even in winter, you can see greenery all around, so I can only imagine how beautiful it must be during the other three seasons. What left the deepest impression was a young man from the hotel's concierge team. After my child and I finished our meal, we wanted to stroll around the courtyard. He proactively approached us, asking if we had eaten and where we planned to go. We told him we weren't going far, just exploring the courtyard. He enthusiastically informed us that there was an olive tree in the backyard personally planted by Premier Zhou, suggesting we look for it. We were pleasantly surprised and immediately decided to seek out this piece of history. Early on February 11th, we had booked a trip to the Terracotta Warriors. Since it was quite a distance, we rushed to the restaurant for breakfast right when it opened. As the elevator doors opened downstairs, it was the same familiar young man, greeting us with a cheerful 'Good morning!'... Throughout our stay, we encountered this diligent and hospitable staff member many times as we came and went. Even my child would proactively say hello to him, as if he were a familiar family member! The feeling of being welcomed like family truly slowly permeates and influences those around you. It's a shame he wasn't on duty the day we checked out, so we couldn't say goodbye in person. I have a small suggestion for the hotel's guest rooms: it would be best to provide plastic non-slip mats in the shower. The lack of non-slip slippers, with only cotton bathmats available, isn't enough to prevent slips in the shower. Moreover, showering barefoot isn't comfortable for most Chinese people, especially women and children. Sometimes, a non-slip item is much more practical than just a warning!

The hotel provided a complimentary airport pick-up, and Master Ma (the driver) gave us a wonderful introduction to Xi'an's features along the way – excellent service! A special thanks to front desk staff member Shudan Yang, who was incredibly patient and attentive, and even gave me a free breakfast 🫰. The hotel environment is comfortable, clean, and tidy, and the breakfast was great 👍. My mom and dad said they had a wonderful and enjoyable experience. Many thanks to all the hotel staff 👍.

Service: The service attitude was excellent. They offered a free room upgrade, provided breakfast, and check-in and check-out were convenient and quick. They even gave a small gift. I will definitely come again next time.

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at an Ibis hotel, and what impressed me most was how clean and tidy everything was. Although the bathroom was a bit small, it was spotless. The room didn't have a shower cap, but you could pick one up at the front desk. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I slept really well. Hot water came quickly. The shower head and breakfast weren't particularly great, but the overall cleanliness and tidiness more than made up for these minor shortcomings. The front desk staff were also very enthusiastic and friendly, even giving out small gifts.

JJohnTingThis is more than a hotel. It is a sanctuary in the middle of bustling Xi'an.
We were always welcomed with a warm smile by the staff daily.
The hotel was tastefully designed and exuded warmth and calmness. The clever use of earthly colours and heavy accent on the usage of timber created an inviting atmosphere.
The usage of lightings to highlight certain objects while casting shadows around said objects created an impression of an art gallery.
One word to describe this hotel.... LOVELY!!!
The butler service in servicing breakfast, afternoon tea and supper was highly appreciated.
One added bonus for me was that I was able to photograph Bell Tower in peace and luxury at the top open deck.
Highly recommended this hotel for relaxation and also photographing Bell Tower

TTinaMThis is a lovely hotel with kind, welcoming staff. I read some reviews saying the rooms are very old etc, but I don't see how that makes this hotel any less great - the rooms are still clean and well maintained. I arrived in Xi'an after 48 hours of hectic traveling due to a missed train, and the staff at Meihao Hotel were very welcoming, were happy to use translation apps to communicate with me. The room was large, with a view of the neighbourhood outside (mostly just traffic jams haha, but that's Xi'an). The location may not be super ideal for some as it isn't in the city centre, but honestly it was no inconvenience at all, as the nearest subway station is a brisk walk away -- about 5-7 minutes. If you're arriving by train and carrying a lot of heavy luggage, then yes, coming via subway might be a bit of a challenge (but not impossible!)
The housekeeping staff especially were very warm and kind. Thank you for always brightening my day when I walked by you all.
A few hours after I checked in, a lovely staff member knocked on my door and offered me a small bowl of soup. I was very confused as I hadn't ordered anything, but upon seeing other guests were receiving this too, I gladly accepted. It was such an unexpected, kind gesture -- this hotel truly knows how to make one feel welcome.
I fell ill on the second day of my stay, and thankfully the room was so comfortable, I could recuperate well. My only complaint is that the bedsheets, comforter, pillowcases etc -- all the bedding essentially smells of cigarette smoke. I could also smell cigarette smoke from beyond my room's door at night. This was despite there being a clear sign in the room saying smoking was not allowed inside. Though this is certainly not something you can fault hotel staff for (if guests are adamant to smoke inside, what can housekeeping possibly do?), I just thought I would mention this for any other guests who might be very sensitive to the smell, perhaps you could request staff to rewash the bedding until the smoke smell is entirely gone.
After checking out, I also noticed there were some freebies that were part of my booking that I unfortunately missed out on :( There was meant to be welcome fruit, afternoon tea for two and a midnight snack, which I would have loved to try. There was no welcome fruit offered, but I did receive some refreshing juice when I arrived to check in -- it was a hot day and I was grateful for the welcome drink. For the other stuff, as I didn't realise it was part of the booking perks, I never asked, and consequently seem to have missed out.
I also want to say that aside from the rooms, the lobby area is quite lovely -- very tastefully decorated, peaceful, and I even saw they had some free coffee out for guests! I only noticed this when I was checking out though, and my taxi was already on the way to pick me up, so I could not indulge. Maybe it would be helpful if the reception staff could share all this info with guests when they check in, especially with the foreign guests who are already a bit confused and trying to get their bearings ^-^ Just a suggestion! Thank you for a nice stay. I will definitely be back again soon.

AAnonymous UserTo start with, this hotel far exceeded our expectations and created truly wonderful memories for our anniversary.
The staff were incredibly thoughtful; they decorated our room beautifully in advance and even gifted us fresh flowers 💐 – such touching attention to detail.
Every day during our stay, we received a fresh and abundant fruit platter. On the first night, they thoughtfully delivered a white fungus soup, and on the second, a red date soup. Both were perfectly sweet, smooth, and absolutely delicious.
Located within the Huaqing Palace scenic area, the hotel offers an elegant and tranquil environment that truly helps you relax and unwind.
The breakfast selection 🍳 was rich and tasty, and dinner was equally excellent. The overall dining experience was a big plus. (There's a shuttle service from the lobby to the restaurant and attractions within the park, though it's also a very short walk.)
The location is incredibly convenient. We could walk to see 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' in about 3 minutes, and Mount Li was also within walking distance.
Our room booking included access to the Huaqing Hot Springs, and the hot spring experience was fantastic, making our entire trip even more relaxing and enjoyable.
Overall, it's a high-quality hotel that excels in service, ambiance, and overall experience. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back!

Xiao Yi at the front desk was efficient and thorough during check-in, proactively informing us about local attractions, afternoon tea, and supper times, and even upgraded our room type. The restaurant staff, particularly the auntie, was incredibly helpful and professional. We were late back from afternoon tea, and when she heard our child still had classes, she immediately brought over some congee and snacks. The experience was truly top-notch! We definitely have to give Xiao Yi, the auntie, and the hotel a big thumbs up. We'll be back next time! The only minor downside is that the laundry room doesn't have new commercial equipment.
