It's my second stay in this hotel, and it again exceeded my expectations:)
We could check in earlier, croissants were ready for us for breakfast , tea, coffee making facilities, microwave etc. all you need. Even a scale in the bathroom!!! Working:))
Plenty of towels, very clean apartment, comfortable bed upstairs. Can only recommend and definitely will stay there again :)

Großes Hotel, effizient organisiert. Sehr entspannte Atmosphäre. Tolle Lage zwischen dem historischen Kurort und der modernen Fußgängerzone. Leider äußerlich eine Bausünde aus dem Sozialismus. Die Zimmer sind nüchtern, aber gepflegt, kein überflüssiger Firlefanz. Tolles Spa (2 Stunden pro Tag inkludiert und gegen geringes Geld unbegrenzt nutzbar). Mit dem Auto leicht zu erreichen, erschwinglicher Parkplatz im eigenen Parkhaus. Leckeres und vielseitiges Frühstück. Die Zimmer mit Balkon haben einen tollen Ausblick über die Stadt, das lohnt sich sehr! Netter, unaufgeregter, fixer Service. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder!

Very good.
I could check in even at 11 in the morning, instead at 2 pm.
The room was small, but perfect for solo traveller.
Plenty of the SPA facilities, friendly staff, speak multiple languages.
Nice breakfast ( except water melon, at some point, in the beginning it was empty, but not refilled during the service)
I really loved the tea room with the amazing choice of different teas.
I would definitely stay there again during my next visit to Karlovy Vary.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Super Frühstück. Große und hübsche Zimmer. Tolle Betten. Großes Badezimmer mit Fenster. Kühlschrank. Flachbildschirm TV. Sehr ruhig. Saunalandschaft ruhig und erholsam. Direkt am Park.

Es war wieder super, man kann das Auto auf dem großen Parkplatz parken für 50 Kronen pro Tag oder direkt beim Hotel kostet etwas mehr. Auto kann man stehen lassen zur Stadt fährt direkt ein Bus hin kostet nur 18 Kronen pro Person.

The hotel is centrally located, a bit up to the hill. Clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. Good breakfast. Staff members, especially the young lady at reception, are friendly, polite and professional.
The reception front desk closes at 6 pm. If you checking in later, you have to contact the property well in advance.
Unfortunately,I didn't, and had to make around 40 calls on 3 different numbers provided.
They answered only after 50 minutes of waiting. This was really annoying, just because I was tired after the trip, hungry and desperately needed to use the toilet.( Sorry for the details).
After my calls answered, I got the access code and my keys. Easy.
The hotel is situated in the quiet area, unfortunately, some customers at the hotel made a big noise in the middle of the night:at 3 pm, loudly kicking in the neighbours door, trying to get in, for a very long 40 mins... I had to get out and prevent it,if they did not stop, I'll call the police.
I definitely had bad luck with this stay, it's not at all the hotel's fault, just my poor experience:(

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen und die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr höflich und zuvorkommend! Das Spa ist auch sehr gut. Es besteht aus 2 Saunen, einem Dampfbad und einem großen Pool sowie vielen Entspannungsliegen. Es ist super wenig los im Spa so dass man wirklich entspannen kann. Das Spa kostet zusätzlich täglich 12€ für nachmittags/abends und von 7-12 Uhr etwa 9€ pro Tag. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr gut und es fehlt einem an nichts.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit exzellenten Service. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und der SPA Bereich lädt zum Entspannen ein, dieser ist lediglich etwas klein für ein so großes Hotel. Absolute Empfehlung für den Aufenthalt in Karlsbad!

Hotel Palacky besticht durch seine einzigartige Lage mitten in der Altstadt von Karlsbad. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer, mit allem was dazu gehört und die Einrichtung war zweckmäßig. Das Frühstück ist gut, bietet Abwechslung und ist reichlich, am Buffet zur Selbstbedienung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem Haus und kommen gerne wieder.
Erhaltungsmaßnahmen erforderlich in punkto Fensterrenovierung, diese benötigen dringend eine Aufarbeitung.

SSogolWe were very surprised upon arrival. Despite the hotel description suggesting a 24-hour reception, there was no 24/7 front desk at Hotel Elefant. We had to go to another hotel for check-in, check-out and even breakfast, which was not clearly disclosed in the listing. This was inconvenient and felt misleading.
Another issue was the Wi-Fi: there was no password or QR code available in the room, and because there was no reception on-site, we couldn’t get the details. As a result, we were unable to use the Wi-Fi during our stay.
In addition, some of the photos in the listing gave us the impression of a different view/setting. Once we arrived, it seemed that the actual hotel does not match some of the photos shown, which affected our expectations.
The location is good, but transparency is essential. Please clearly state the reception situation, where guests must go for check-in/out and breakfast, provide Wi-Fi details in the room, and ensure the photos accurately represent the property

GGuest UserIt was again super, you can park the car on the big parking lot for 50 krones per day or directly at the hotel costs a little more. Car you can stand to the city drive directly a bus costs only 18 krones per person.

GGary0423The hotel is located on top of hills, which is not so convenient for travelers with luggage. There are 3 buildings within the hotel, 2 of them connected. The indoor swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi are in building 2.
My room is in building 3, seems to be newly renovated. Spacious space for a single room with a view of wood forest and next castle building. The toilet and shower room are separated. Only 1 body-and-hair shampoo is provided. But the soundproofing is not so great, you may hear the talking and laughing from the nest room clearly at night.
The front desk gentleman is so kind and attentive, highly appreciated for his service. The breakfast is average and could be crowded during holidays.

Breakfast spread was also very nice (selection and amount). We were really impressed with the value of the stay here. We did opt to pay extra for the included dinner, which was well worth it. I would rate the dinner 3.5 to 4 out of 5.
This is a 160 year old hotel, so expect things to be dated. However the keep it in good shape so that adds to the charm. You will not be disappointed here. I only wish the shower was a bit bigger…other than that, I thought it was great!

AAnonymous UserIt was absolutely amazing experience to stay here. The hotel is located very centre of tourist area with lots of choices of restaurants and cafes. The interior and the room were stunning. Limited time slots if check-in and out might be inconvenient for some, but we arrived and left during daytime, so it was not a problem for us.
The breakfast was also very tasty, albeit service was a bit inconsistent (the menu was provided on the first day but not on the second day and limited choice).
Overall, we had very good time and we would love to stay here again.
