I was visiting the University on business. From the minute I walked in you could feel the customer service culture was very good and very natural. Every team member from reception to the team that we’re looking after the bar and restaurant. I’m sitting here writing this after my breakfast. Again a really friendly and genuine environment. I felt compelled to write this review. I managed a customer service driven environment for many years and I know the work that goes on behind the scenes to keep what you have worked hard to achieve. Well done to all. I’m glad I joined Bonvoy. I will be back 100%. Have a good day.

The guesthouse itself is within walking distance to Stoke-on-Trent Train Station and Staffordshire University (college road & leek road). The room and the property was very clean. The Owner Gabriel and Property Manager Joe was very helpful and made me feel safe during my stay. They accommodate long stay with discounted price. The rooms are exactly how the advertised on website (if anything better).Rooms are very big and spacious, bathroom were very clean. Rooms had aesthetic lights ( also dimmable). There were Sockets near bed and 2 work desk/ study desk and settee with coffee table. Free WiFi at the property. In short great find and will stay here again.

Travelled up for a charity bike ride. Proximity to park and mosque was key and this suited perfectly. Room was great. Shower powerful. Noise Proof good as we had a baby with us. Cot provided good standard. Breakfast was very good in morning and not too pricey if bought in advance with booking. Only lose points on having to provide confirmation that breakfast was booked due to fault with their booking system.

Hotel struggled to find my booking. Found red lipstick on my coffee mug in the room in the morning- we don’t wear lipstick, made everything feel grubby and used, the sink could have done with a good scrub. Room didn’t have the extras described, toiletries/slippers/robes etc Was told on the booking the room was without meals and later found out they were included. The vibe of the hotel was lively, they had a great set up for kids with a lovely lit park and gardens, very enjoyable stay regardless.

At check-in the reception staff member was more interested in watching football and I was told to wait they watched football!!!! I did not sleep well as the hotel has a loose rope on the flag pole, told in morning that being loose since lockdown. All night a loud metal tinging sound. The hotel has an amazing heritage and the room shares this heritage, I wish just the staff would book time off for football and did regular site checks every day. Lastly the reception is not 24/7.

We arrived at about 10pm on the way up to Glasgow, and decided to stop and get a good nights sleep, which I'm glad we did as it was the best nights sleep in a hotel for the next 5 nights. The room was quite basic, but as it was for a stopover we didn't mind at all. We would definitely look out for Days Inn hotels when travelling in the future. There was no breakfast but as the hotel adjoins services this was no problem. Had a lovely Leon breakfast. Car parking is included in the room price too so overall very good value.

Excellent value hotel. We stopped for one night on the way down to Cornwall. We weren't expecting much for £59 but this hotel was great. Very clean, good sized room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Nice and friendly reception. Quiet and plenty of parking even in July. A bonus for us was that it's pet friendly. Also right next to the M6 Stafford Services which are also one of the better ones. A hotel definitely worth staying at that ticks all the boxes.

I was there on a Sunday night recently, the first stay in this particular Holiday Inn for several years, and it was just as good as in the past. I arrived early, and the staff were kind enough to let me check in before 3.00. The room was clean, quiet, and had everything I could possibly require for an overnight stay. The breakfast (included in the charge) was excellent, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Can't really find fault with anything! Plenty of free parking, too, and easy access to major roads and cities. Excellent value.
