Hotel Dengan Spa di Tangier-Tetouan, Maghribi

My husband and I stayed 5 nights in late April 2023. We arrived from Casablanca, by high speed train. The train station, clean and modern, is right across the street from the Hilton Tanger. Upon arrival we were upgraded from a king exec room a to junior suite. Loved the room. It was spacious, big bathroom with separate tub and shower, 2 sinks and bidet. Lots of closet space. Housekeeping brought us extra pillows that we requested. We were on the 8th floor facing the sea so we had a view of the coast. We could see Spain in the distance and the ferry coming and going to the Tangier port. Before going for breakfast we made coffee in the room with the capsules provided. The breakfast buffet is great, lots of variety, eggs on order, hot and cold dishes, Moroccan and Western. The restaurant is on the 15th floor with fantastic views over the beach and the sea. There is a mall attached to the hotel. I bought a nice Tshirt in a ladies shop and we bought some snacks at the supermarket. We walked down to the beach and along the boardwalk area that stretches for a long distance toward the port and further east. It is so clean. Workers regularly clean beaches and streets. You rarely see plastic bottles or wrappers strewn about. We took a taxi to the Medina 2 days in a row and wandered around. One day into the museum. It was okay.

Hotel initially presents well. However some things let it down. The room was large and spacious however it was quite windy outside and this howled through window all night. The bathroom : the shower is over a really high bath that has no door or curtain so the floor gets flooded even if your being very careful. The toilet seems to have a leak either from the water feed to the toilet or bidet as the grout channels in floor were always full of water. Only 1 towel and one hand towel supplied. Restaurant: just don’t!! The food was shocking. It made a student flat dinner look like a 5 star dining experience. Staff were helpful but very inexperienced. Basically the restaurant is an afterthought. Breakfast: this is at a different restaurant in the complex. It was quite good. Extensive fruit and vegetable options. Lots of egg options. Lovely pastries. Only minor letdown was tea and coffee. The property is a long way from any local restaurants but there is a mall 10to 15 min walk away. Just not very pleasant walking there in the wind we experienced. Would I stay here again : Yes What would I do different : taxi to the Medina and eat there. Take ear plugs.

It's good however we booked through Trip.com and they don't accept bookings from them anymore, we had to call customer service for them to settle it

We had a fantastic stay at the Hilton! The room was spacious and clean, with modern amenities and a comfortable bed. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure all my needs were met. Overall, a great experience that I would highly recommend.

Pestana is one of the most perfect hotels in tangier, where I spent a very great holiday the staff are so kind and helpful , the rooms are so clean and comfortable , Moreover the restaurant offer many great breakfasts and delicious meals. during my stay in this wonderful hotel I was so happy and I enjoyed every moment ✨ Well soon I’ll visit tangier again and sure I’ll make a reservation in this amazing hotel .

Casa Harris one of the best restaurants in Tangier. In terms of vibe, the food and service. My friends and I had had a great tome the music was perfect we could listen to each other and enjoy the wonderful voice singing. I would highly recommend for a great evening between friends, family or colleagues.

Had 2 rooms for the hotel. Average room, rather old. Renovations are in progress thus maybe caused the lack of service, had to wait rather long while checking in and in comparison with other moroccan hotels, no welcome drinks or familiarisation was given. There was no rooftop access for any aerial view despite strategically located next to the wonderful beach and nearby all the main attractions of the city. Staffs were friendly though, facilities and maintenance fell short for that last star.

This is definitely not a 5 star Hotel, not for the product and not for the service. We checked in & booked a Deluxe Sea View room. The view was half sea view half mountain. The room product was very basic and below even a 3 star hotel standard. Plugs were not working in the room(mentioned to the reception but never fixed), the Key did not go into the socket to turn on the electricity ( engineering had to come at 2 different times to help us turn on the lights), you cannot even stand straight in the shower in the bathtub as it is fixed too low). There is a tiny little balcony with not even a chair for you to enjoy the 'view' or 'outside space'. The overall service was extremely poor. Breakfast was a disaster, the staff running everywhere, dirty tables all over the place, the buffet never refilled and very limited in terms of options, the pastries de frozen. Lunch I asked for a salad one day & it came without any dressing & not at all what the description said in terms of ingredients. They only had 1 brand of Rosé in stock which of course was the most expensive one. On average it would take about 1 hour for the food to come. One day we ordered lunch by the pool as they had just served the people next to us and the first server said no. When we said the people next to us just were served they said ok. The next day we asked to be served by the pool and they said no... very confusing. The worst part is that at the check out when the manager asked if we enjoyed our stay and we said 'honestly it was not great' he replied 'OK'. I would never ever return, the prices for F&B are very high & not at all in line with the service. Room product is not ok & overall staff simply do not care (especially at the reception).

The perfect location in Tangier. The staff will treat you like princes and princesses. Everything was just perfect. The room was spacious. I slept so well during these 3 nights. Loved it. A massive thanks to Othman, the reception Manager and his team. Highly highly recommended

Mijn recente verblijf in het Barcelo Hotel in Tanger was een geweldige ervaring die mijn verwachtingen overtrof. Het hotel biedt een combinatie van luxe, comfort en uitstekende service, wat het een ideale keuze maakt voor zowel zakenreizigers als toeristen. Locatie: Het hotel is perfect gelegen aan de kust, met een prachtig uitzicht op de Middellandse Zee. Het ligt op loopafstand van het centrum van Tanger, wat het gemakkelijk maakt om de stad te verkennen. Kamers: Mijn kamer was ruim, modern ingericht en zeer schoon. Het bed was buitengewoon comfortabel, en de voorzieningen zoals de gratis wifi, de minibar en de flatscreen-tv maakten mijn verblijf zeer aangenaam. Het balkon met uitzicht op zee was een absoluut hoogtepunt. Service: Het personeel van het hotel was vriendelijk, behulpzaam en professioneel. Vanaf het moment van inchecken tot aan mijn vertrek voelde ik me zeer welkom. Eten en drinken: Het ontbijtbuffet was uitgebreid en van hoge kwaliteit, met een ruime keuze aan zowel lokale als internationale gerechten. Het restaurant van het hotel serveert heerlijke maaltijden, en de roomservice was snel en efficiënt. Faciliteiten: De faciliteiten van het hotel zijn uitstekend. Het zwembad en de fitnessruimte zijn goed onderhouden en bieden een geweldige manier om te ontspannen. Het hotel heeft ook vergaderzalen en een businesscentrum, wat het zeer geschikt maakt voor zakelijke bijeenkomsten. Conclusie: Ik kan het Barcelo Hotel Tanger ten zeerste aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een comfortabel en luxueus verblijf in Tanger. De combinatie van de uitstekende locatie, de luxe kamers, de geweldige service en de hoogwaardige faciliteiten zorgt voor een onvergetelijke ervaring.
