GGuest UserBeautiful location idyllic .we stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful relaxing time .
Perfect chill out place and saw some amazing sunsets .
Staff are friendly and helpful .
Great swimming pool and accompanying music .maybe more parasols /shade around the pool would be good but plenty of sun beds and parasols to relax near the edge of the sea and overlooking the sea from the hotel
Beach is beautiful .large stones you need to clamber over to get in but there are coloured sandbags to guide you and it’s worth the effort !!
Small bar and restaurant bit pricey but what you expect from a hotel restaurant I guess .and in resorts generally .food is good
Breakfast is ok could be better for the price although you can order additional items such as eggs omelettes. Pancakes s at extra cost
In the town .Itself 5 minutes walk there is a supermarket and a number of places to eat , may be with booking at busy times .
Club ipomea is great place to relax with the family .I hope to definitely return one day .

GGuest UserVery happy with our stay, we booked a superior double room I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews regarding rooms however we were very happy with what we got it was as seen on photos. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The shuttle to the beach was a great addition, the walk into the main area was very do able only took around 10 minutes. Again had some concerns about this after reading some previous reviews but assume this is down to different levels of fitness as the walk was very manageable we did it twice a day most days. Breakfast included. The only room for improvement was there was no one monitoring people getting on the shuttle (you had to book this to use it) so sometimes it was a rush as to who could get on quicker as I think people were using it but not booking it. There was always another one put on after to sort this however sometimes meant waiting an additional 10 minutes.
Tropea is beautiful!

GGuest UserSo nice place to stay. Everything is so new and fresh at this apartment. The room is big and bright with a nice balcony where we were chilling at night with a glass of vine. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Location is very good. The owner was very friendly and polite, she helped us to keep our luggage after check-out. The breakfasts were served at the nearest cafes (pastry, coffee, juice). Not big deal but it was ok to have a ancle before the beach.
Highly recommend.
As a good suggestion for future I can recommend to provide a beach towel to the guests as everybody comes to Tropea for chilling at the beach and sometimes it’s a problem to bring your own towel because of the strictly demands of air companies to the weight of the luggage.

GGuest UserThe resort is extremely well maintained and clean. However if you got to breakfast later say 9am the food was depleted.
The staff were nice but a matter of fact and some of the hotel policies like you must wear a swimming cap were ignored by all of the other guests.
The pool was amazing and clean and couldn’t fault it at all.
The food at dinner time was good but inconsistent in serving sizes particularly if you ordered the same thing the following day.
I think this is a nice resort but expensive for what you get.
The last thing I would say is that the entrance to the beach is not easy given that there are huge boulders in place and we found that we would walk through other hotel properties when we wanted a dip.

Есть парковка с навесом. Комфортные лежаки у бассейна (но их всего несколько штук), сам бассейн с видом на море. Невероятно вкусные и разнообразные завтраки и ужины! Есть ресторан, отмеченных гидом Мишлен. Но нужно иметь в виду, что это целая церемония, рассчитанная на несколько часов. У нас ужин из 7 блюд занял почти 3 часа. Но это того стоило!) До пляжей пешком идти далеко. Мы ездили на машине. С парковкой в городе проблем не возникало, всегда находились места. Ближайший к отелю городской пляж, пожалуй, самый красивый. Очень понравился город и отель, обязательно к вам вернемся! Спасибо большое за великолепное время!

RRumpleteazerAlthough slightly out of the city center, the hotel is very well located near a train / metro station, which allows you to easily reach the other part of the city and the suburbs. All staff members we communicated with showed excellent attitude, were helpful, smiling and friendly. Our Deluxe room was of a reasonable size, perfectly clean, offered a Sea view, which can better be described as ”you can see some water behind the roof of the neighbouring building”, but it was nice anyway. The restaurant upstairs also lived up to expectations, with a better Sea view from the top and great meals. We enjoyed breakfast, too.
Highly recommended, will return if we go in the region again.

GGuest UserLovely, old-fashioned hotel in a great location. About 10 mins walk from the train station. We arrived early and the reception kindly made us a drink and even upgraded us to 2 rooms with seaview, which really made our stay. All of the reception staff were lovely.The rooms were clean and comfortable and we even had a little fridge.
We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. This has a sea view. The food was quite good, esp the seafood platter one of us chose. The breakfast is also very good, with a wide choice of items. (No English breakfast teabags,though.)
Would stay there again without hesitation if we went back to Bagnara Calabra.

DDejan SkaljacIt's an excellent location for those landing late at the Reggio di Calabria airport . Check in was very self-explanatory , two codes is what gets you in - one for the front door and one for the room key box. The location is on the main street so very easy to find. Giovanni was very kind in absorbing our tourist tax as we had no change to pay same. The bus stop for the line that gets you into the city centre and the train station is a stone throw from the front door. Nothing was lacking or amiss , the only slight drawback is that for people with reduced mobility, if using a crutch or the like , it's very steep flights of stairs.

GGuest UserFantastic family runs hotel ! We arrived really late at night and Roberto the manager waited for us and helped with the luggage’s, then at morning he took time to explains every delicious dish from the breakfast (mostly homemade) and all products are local from the village nearby / or the region. We also got recommendations for where to go since we came here to do an Calabrian roadtrip ^.^ Nothing negative to say except that we are only sad that we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy the area around and try more of the hotel’s restaurant food !! The room is spacious and very clean, an memorable short stay. 100% recommend

GGuest UserWe had the most wonderful time staying at Rocca della Sena. The view from the terrace was incredible and was such a lovely place to be able to sit during sunset. Breakfast was very good and there were lots of options to choose from, including fresh nduja which is local to the area. The staff were probably the best part of the stay, though. They were so kind and generous with their time, always asking if they could provide recommendations for dinner or activities in the area, and made us feel so welcome. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tropea. We honestly have no negative feedback to provide!
