Absolutely loved this hotel! The surroundings are incredibly photogenic, and the aurora often appears right on the mountain top across from the hotel. I even asked the front desk for aurora viewing recommendations, and they suggested a small church hill and by the pier. But honestly, you can just watch it from right outside the hotel. Otherwise, you'd have to head towards the city outskirts, and the two places they recommended weren't great, especially the small church – it was too cluttered with trees and rooftops. Plus, the hotel's lobby offers free 24-hour hot water, tea, and coffee, which is a huge bonus! I'm not sure if my room got an upgrade, but it felt much larger than I expected. The hotel has two floors, and the only downside is no elevator. So, it's best to pack your luggage strategically. If you're on the second floor, just take a few essentials up, and you can store your suitcase at the front desk. Of course, when checking in, if you're on the second floor, a staff member will help you with your bags, but you'll have to carry them down yourself when checking out. The hotel is about 600 meters from the pier and several large supermarkets, making shopping and getting around convenient. The parking lot is also spacious. All in all, fantastic value for money! Our stay at Eliassen Rorbuer was incredibly satisfying overall, and definitely a memorable part of our Lofoten trip. The hotel is beautifully situated right by the sea, surrounded by the classic Lofoten mountain and sea scenery. Stepping out, you're greeted by a tranquil bay and charming red fishing huts – perfect for photos and incredibly atmospheric. The room itself retained the traditional features of a local fishing hut, while also being well-equipped with modern amenities, offering both character and comfort. The cleanliness was excellent, the bedding was neat, and it was pretty quiet at night, ensuring a good rest. The kitchen supplies were practical and very convenient for guests who wanted to do some light cooking. The staff were friendly and communicative, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. The hotel's location is also great; it's very convenient for self-driving, and the surrounding scenery is stunning, ideal for slowly soaking in Lofoten's natural beauty. All in all, this isn't just accommodation; it's more like a unique local travel experience. I highly recommend it for couples, families, or anyone specifically looking to immerse themselves in the Lofoten charm.

The location of the hotel is superb. Just next to the cruise terminal which is very convenient for us. While we are waiting for cruise departure we can just wait inside with complimentary drinks. Lastly, the food is such a premium to us.

The hostel offers some conveniences but overall, I would rate it 3/5. Its location is a major advantage, with a shopping center and supermarket just a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to access essentials. However, the experience was marred by several issues. The hostel was difficult to find due to the lack of clear signage, which was frustrating upon arrival. Additionally, the noise insulation was very poor—I could hear footsteps and movement from upstairs throughout the night, which severely impacted my sleep and caused insomnia. While the hostel has potential, these issues need to be addressed to improve the overall experience. It’s a suitable choice for budget travelers prioritizing convenience, but light sleepers may want to consider other options.

I took bus 300 from EVE airport to the hotel. I got off at the 'Circle K station' and walked across the parking lot to the hotel, which was very close. However, when I left, the navigation said it would take 7-8 minutes to walk to the next bus stop. I found this a bit confusing. I saw other reviews mentioning that the hotel would send an email with a check-in code before arrival, but I never received one! I had to proactively contact Ctrip while on the bus to the hotel, and only then did I receive the check-in email from the hotel just before arriving. The hotel elevator is quite unique and hard to spot unless you look carefully. It's right next to the sofa in the public area, but there's no clear sign! Many people searched for a long time, and the elevator requires manual operation. The room size is a bit small, with a private bathroom. For Svolvær, where prices are high, this price point offers great value for money! Crucially, breakfast is included. While the variety isn't huge, the quality is good, which I really liked. Each floor has a communal kitchen, but unfortunately, the induction hob in the kitchen next to our room wasn't working. Finding the communal laundry room was quite a hassle. There was no one at the front desk at the time, and I couldn't find any other staff members, so I had to ask Ctrip customer service for help. The customer service even misled us to another building, where the laundry room lacked detergent and had very few washing machines. Later, after asking other guests, I found out there's a large laundry room near the hotel entrance, complete with laundry powder. The hotel didn't clearly explain the location of the laundry room, which was a poor experience.

I stayed at Svinøya Rorbuer recently, and honestly, it was such a beautiful experience. Our cabin had the perfect view for catching the northern lights — we literally just looked out of the window and there they were, dancing above us. Pure magic. The cabin itself was spotless and felt really cosy. One of the heaters wasn’t working at first, but the team came over and sorted it immediately, which I really appreciated. Fast, friendly service makes all the difference, especially in the cold! Overall, a lovely stay. I’d happily go back in a heartbeat.

This is definitely a 5-star praise. Although the hotel has been maintained for some years, it is still very well maintained. We have two rooms in total, one of which is given to the invincible sea view room. The room is quite big. The facilities in the room are all available. It is almost the best accommodation in this Norwegian trip. The praise is due to flight changes. Cancellation the next night, although the type of reservation is non-cancellable, the hotel promised to cancel free of charge, it is really good, breakfast is also rich.

I extended my stay by one night. **Room:** For the first night, I was in a duplex room where the upstairs and downstairs shared a living room and kitchen. On the second night, I moved to a one-bedroom suite complete with a living room and kitchen. **Cleanliness:** Good. **Breakfast:** Plentiful. **Facilities:** The room for my first night was on the ground floor, which was convenient. However, my room for the second night was on the third floor with no elevator, making it quite a struggle with large luggage. The upside was a balcony with a fantastic view!

First of all, this hotel is located in Ouzhen, friends who come to Roftown will come to this place! I recommend everyone to live in Ouzhen or Leiyan. But there is one thing to say, this hotel is a bit amazing to me, the room is equipped with a kitchen, stove, tableware are all available, and it is very clean, and it is very convenient to cook by yourself. The room we stayed in was one bedroom and one living room, very warm! And if the weather is good, this is a superb aurora observation point! ! The only downside is that there seems to be no hair dryer, if you check in, you can ask at check-in. Overall, this is a very recommended accommodation experience, especially suitable for travelers who want to get close to nature and experience the fishing village style. Super recommended! !
