The hotel is actually a boutique B&B. The facilities and room sizes are better in the town. The lake view from the window is beautiful, but the hotel is not in the most central location of the town. It is on the hillside. Fortunately, the whole town is not big, and it is less than 200 meters to the town center or the town entrance for the best photos and check-ins.

This hotel apartment is literally inside the Hallstat town. We stayed at standard apartment with city view, it was a huge unit with 2 bedroom. First bedroom has one king bed, and another bedroom comes with one queen bed and a daybed. There is also a foldable bed in the second bedroom. The interior of the apartment was designed in Alpine style with wooden furniture. The view from the balcony is one of the small street with background of mountain. Early morning sunrise view and refreshing air from the balcony was priceless. However, after sunset, most of the shop at this apartment area is closed and the street in front of the apartment is dark. Hence, its better to get all your snack purchase in advanced. In conclusion, although staying in Hallstatt town is pricey, but the Alpine house experience is priceless.

Very enjoyable stay. Easy check in. Plenty of parking and host is extremely kind and hospitable. Property is close to supermarket and bakery which is not open on Sunday. Reminder the ferry into Hallstatt from Obertraun doesnt run in winter. Clean and amazing canopy shower head. Very good stay.

Small but quite clean room, ideal for a night as a traveler for an affordable price.

The location of the hotel is very good, in the center of the town, there is a market in the morning, stroll around and feel the local customs. The room is very big, ours is a suite inside and outside, very clean. The room has air-conditioning and electric heater. It is not cold at the end of September, but the heater is still on for a while at night. The overall living is very comfortable. The breakfast type is relatively simple, but the local folk customs are very good, and the people are very polite and welcoming.

Relying on the road, the sound is not small at night. There is no manual front desk, self-check-in, so the system does not accept it until 2 pm, go early and can do it. The towels in the room have not been changed, there are no toiletries, you need to bring your own, and there is no hot water bottle. The bed is small, like a high-end youth hostel.

Self-check-in is very convenient, fast and the room is clean. And there is a supermarket next to it, which is convenient for eating and shopping. I come to Linz every year, and I will choose to stay at this hotel next time I have the opportunity.
