Friendly service; clean room and bathroom. Nothing wrong with it really except that I was expecting a HOTEL based on the pictures and certainly the price! The location is great but be aware that this an INN with rooms attached at the back. Breakfast not included (costs £15 extra). Location great right in front of the cathedral but no parking. A good, comfortable stay but overpriced fro what it was and the time of year (mid-October).

The location is close to the train station and tourist attractions. Drinks in the fridge are free. The staff are lovely, but there was a lot of dust in the room.

Everything we needed, even the use of a microwave. Comfortable bed. Large screen TV. Ask reception staff about the shortcut to town and shops. Otherwise, it's a mission. Reception staff are fantastic and very helpful.

Lovely clean and comfortable rooms with an excellent shared bathroom. Jamie was the perfect host, very helpful and friendly. An excellent place to stay whilst visiting friends in Somerset.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) Comfortable Stay and Great Location I stayed at the Holiday Inn Taunton and had a very comfortable experience. The hotel is easy to access, just off the M5, which made it a convenient base for exploring Somerset or stopping over during a longer journey. The room was clean and quiet, with everything I needed — a comfy bed, a good shower, and a desk area. Wi-Fi worked well, and I appreciated the tea/coffee station. While the decor is slightly dated in some areas, everything was well-maintained. Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional from check-in to check-out. The breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold options, and the restaurant had a nice relaxed atmosphere in the evening too.

Hotel and staff were really lovely. There was an issue with the booking when we arrived and despite it showing we had booked 2 rooms there was a system error somewhere betweeeb trip.com and the hotel, the receptionist however dealt with the situation very professionally and promptly and also gave us free breakfast for the next day for the inconvenience. Would stay again

Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient. Everything went smoothly during my visit. I would be happy to stay here again and recommend it to others.

Fantastic hotel. Luxurious but homely. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff and could happily have stayed longer. Our room, like the whole hotel, was beautifully furnished and decorated, with a very comfortable bed and lovely walk-in shower. The record player was a lovely, quirky touch as well as the pantry! We enjoyed some very nice cocktails in the bar too. The location is perfect and it's just a few minutes walk to the city centre. We loved everything about the hotel and will definitely be back!

Great location, very nice tavern, very nice staff. We would not stay here again. (1) the room was freezing cold, and we didn't have any way to alter the temperature, (2) the room had a bad odor and (3) the bathroom fixtures were very dated and the ventilation was poor (every surface was covered with moisture).

This is an accessible room. But it's far from accessible. Sticking as grab rail over a bath doesn't make it accessible. Power socket is a spur that they couldn't spend an extra 50cm of cable to put it accessible above the desk instead it's hidden below a desk where even mobile people will struggle... Shower head can't be taken from the rail so it makes it even harder to shower. Very disappointing Two person room and only provided a single milk pot? Went into services and paid two quid for bottle of milk.
