Stayed here for 5 nights and was pleasantly surprised. Great hotel, handy for the train station and metro system which we used every day to get around Naples. Had a nice modern room with a balcony. The road outside is very busy but the double glazed doors kept out all the noise. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Would definitely go back.

Words can’t describe how amazing our experience was with hotel Mary. Vico Equense is the most beautiful place, and only 10 min train ride to Sorrento. If you’re looking for accommodation I would highly recommend staying here! The views from the hotel were amazing, clean and tidy rooms, infinitely pool stunning, huge breakfast served each day, and to top if off a private beach club all included in the price…. Like what?! Truly worth the money and would come back here in a heart beat. Staff were super friendly and recommended great restaurants. All round one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! Can’t wait to return.

The staff: amazing. They were some of the most friendly and outgoing people!! They alone made it an amazing stay, so shoutout to them 🩷 The hostel itself was also great! Quite fancy, clean, massive storage drawers under the beds, good sized rooms. The breakfast was yum, so was the free drink on arrival. Omg and they had free stuff in the kitchen for u to make food with. Think olive oil, pasta, tomatoes, zucchini, herbs and spices. LOVE!!! The rooftop was severely underrated, very cool!! Overall an amazing stay, I wish I could come back!!!

If I could give this place a negative star rating I would. Do NOT stay at this place. It is a scam. We booked through lastminute.com looking forward to a short city break to naples/pompeii and it turned out to be the worst 3 nights of my life. Our check-in information mentioned we could get our room at 11am so, as we had an early morniny flight, got to the hotel just after 11 expecting our room to be ready. We were told to give them an hour. We returned just after 12 and were told it was still not ready and were guided upstairs after a further 45 minutes of waiting the room was finally ready and we were relieved! BUT this is where the hell started. We were taken outside of the hotel casablanca reception area to a separate “hotel” a 5 minute walk away called hotel siri. The area was a building site and the room looked like a bedsit. I kid you not, at this place I believe I could have contracted hepatitis. Understandably we complained informing the hotel this is not what we had booked and were taken back to the reception to speak to the “director”. When we got to the reception area we were met with 2 hostile people refusing to speak in English to us informing that they now could not speak English when they were conversing with us only a short while earlier. They then moved us into a room in the main Hotel Casablanca. However, we did not feel safe staying in this hotel and had to spend valuable time during our holiday finding a new accommodation that we could relax in. We are still awaiting information from lastminute.com and the so-called hotel on a a refund. Which after the shambolic service/attitude, dishonesty, lies and deceit we encountered during our first few moments in naples, we believe is entitled. I emplore you - DO NOT book this hotel. You will get scammed just like we did. Lastminute.com YOU must do something to stop this from happening. I expect to be hearing from you again to correct this. What was meant to be a relaxing, fun break turned out to be 3 nights in HELL.

Poor communication from the start as the property was very hard to find. It is on the fifth floor of a very large apartment building and with just a very small sign on the door, which was locked and we had to figure out how to call up to the desk using the intercom for them to let us in. It would have been appreciated if they had shared those details with us prior to check-in to save us the time and anxiety of trying to find the place. Once we got in, the place was very old and run down. Did not feel welcoming at all. The room was the same and there was a terrible sulfur smell coming from somewhere in the bathroom. We then tried to take a shower and the water was at first scalding hot not matter where you turned the handle for the first few minutes, and then it was freezing cold for the rest of the time. Really not a great experience at all. We are not people who need a luxury hotel by any means, we simply look for a comfortable place to sleep and take a shower. This didn't provide either of those things for us. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star is that the man at the desk was helpful enough to call for a taxi for us in the morning and it was a decent location as we were coming from the ferry port that night and heading to the airport in the morning.

May 13, 2023. In April, Judy and I visited Pompeii with another couple who are good friends and traveling companions, while visiting Italy, Switzerland and Sweden. Our group has considerable international travel experience and each of us really enjoyed Mirosa Bed and Breakfast; the people and accommodations were great. It was an excellent choice. Of note, during our stay issues arose with a booked tour and related timing and transportation issues. Owners Mirosa and husband Pasquale personally took control and, through considerable effort on their part, made it all work out. If we were just talking about the room and hotel itself, I would highly recommend it for the price. The location is great for the train stations. Apart from that the neighborhood is not great. There were *********** stood on the street outside our window and there were human faeces in the street. This isn't the fault of the hotel, but I feel that I should tell people as for some this may ruin their trip.

The hotel staff was super friendly. The evening shuttle worked very good but the driver is very punctual so don’t be even a minute late. Breakfast was awesome with lots of choices. As for location, you get what you paid for plus a shuttle in the late afternoon every hour and free breakfast . Awesome deal for Naples. I highly recommend this place.

As for location, you get what you paid for plus a shuttle in the late afternoon every hour and free breakfast . Awesome deal for Naples. I highly recommend this place.

Hotel adalah segala yang kami mahukan, kakitangannya sangat ramah dan membantu. Kami berasa sangat selamat dengan semua langkah pencegahan yang diperlukan. Biliknya sangat moden dan balkoni adalah bahagian terbaik. Pemandangannya luar biasa dan kami duduk setiap malam untuk melihat bandar dan pelbagai pertunjukan bunga api. Pasti akan mengesyorkan dan berharap dapat kembali suatu hari nanti!

My family of 3 had an absolutely fantastic 4 nights stay in Naples Inn. The owners are really friendly, helpful and accommodating. The bathroom, the room and kitchen area was always spotlessly clean. I never sleep well when travelling, but the bed and the room was so comfortable that I slept like a baby every night. The location is perfect for experiencing Naples, very close to busy city centre area with plenty of choices for cafes and restaurants, but the Inn is still quiet in a tucked away building. I’d definitely recommend this place for everyone. Thank you Roberto and family for everything.

An absolutely beautiful family run hotel in Scala. We loved our stay here and didn’t want to leave. The hotel has a very welcoming vibe as soon as you step through the door. The rooms are tastefully decorated, well equipped and have amazing views of the Amalfi Coast. The centre of Scala is a 5 minute away away and you can easily get to Ravello and Amalfi by foot or using the bus service. We would definitely recommend doing the cookery class with Antonio and Marinella. We hope to be back!

Book it! Tip: Call the hotel directly. The price when we called and inquired was lower than what was shown on 3rd party sites. The staff is excellent. I repeat -they were excellent! It rivals the best hotels in the world for its elevated service. We loved the location, and if you want an excellent view with impeccable service for dining, Il Tridente, located on the pool level deck will not disappoint . In Positano, many restaurants are on the road with cars driving by. Hotel Poseidon provides an opportunity to dine above the noise of the street; far better than other options. I traveled with my 22year old son, and we both agreed it was the best meal we had from Rome to Sorrento and everywhere in between. Our room had a huge patio balcony with two lounge chairs and a bistro table. The stroll down to the beach is easy, and the stone steps down to the beach are close by if you prefer that. The hotel is positioned on the cliffs for the morning sunrise with your coffee. It is perfect, and has the charm and elegance you want in such a historic seaside town. We drove, and they made parking easy (we just pulled up and they took care of it). If you know about driving along the Amalfi coast, you know it isn’t easy and parking is a nightmare. Hotel Poseidon made it easy. We really loved it and would have stayed longer if we weren’t locked into reservations in another town the next few days. I will be back!

Abbiamo soggiornato dal 13 al 16 agosto con il mio ragazzo. La posizione è perfetta, a 4 passi dal mare e da tutte le comodità (motivo principale per cui vi abbiamo alloggiato). La struttura è un po’ datata, andrebbe un po’ modernizzata, fatti alcuni lavori di manutenzione (dato che è un 4 stelle) ma tutto sommato la camera non bella, comoda e molto fresca. La colazione normale, c’era molta scelta alla fine ma unica nota dolente i cornetti che erano piccoli, mai caldi e duri. Per quanto riguarda le pulizie, le stanze erano molto pulite ma, purtroppo, devo dire che venivano fatte a orari “strani”. Ieri eravamo in camera a riposarci (erano le 14 circa) e ci hanno bussato perché dovevano pulire e così siamo stati costretti a metterci sul terrazzo fuori (abbiamo solo chiesto se potessero passare verso le 15 perché il mio ragazzo dormiva e, ovviamente, hanno detto che non c’era problema). Il parcheggio è convenzionato, proprio accanto alla struttura con un costo di 15€ al giorno e qui devo fare una critica (anche se, ovviamente, l’albergo non ha colpe). Il mio ragazzo doveva lavorare oggi e ieri avevamo precisato al parcheggiatore di mettere la macchina in modo da permetterci di lasciare la struttura stamattina alle 7. Siamo scesi ma c’era davanti parcheggiata una bmw, siamo tornati in hotel a chiedere di spostarla (è un parcheggio pubblico e, a quanto ho capito, le chiavi di chi alloggia nelle strutture adiacenti, vengono tutte lasciate al miramare.) In hotel c’era solo il guardiano, non c’era un parcheggiatore, non c’era un proprietario, niente. Il mio ragazzo ha provato a spostarla ma non si accendeva, aveva anche la batteria scarica. Non sapevano nemmeno a chi chiamare, non si sapeva chi fosse il proprietario dell’auto. Morale della favola abbiamo preso la sita alle 8 lasciando la macchina a Maiori e ci hanno detto che per le 9 doveva andare l’elettrauto (e noi per le 8:30 dovevamo stare a casa). Non penso che sia una situazione normale anche perché stasera dobbiamo tornare a prendere la macchina. Ovviamente ripeto, non era colpa dell’ albergo.

My son and I stayed here for three nights last week. We were upgraded to the little suite above the little market, which was a surprise treat. The staff was amazing. Claudia at reception was impressive and speaks PERFECT English, tremendously fabulous service. The restaurant staff were all the best, beyond friendly and helpful. Great view and awesome location in Positano. We ate one dinner at the hotel and loved it, so good. I wish I could go back. We definitely recommend this hotel!

Hotel Montemare was a great option. Highly recommend staying here. My wife and I stayed here for 2 night during our Amalfi trip. The views from both the lobby and our room were stunning. The staff was extremely welcoming. The hotel also provides a great breakfast each morning. Given how steep Positano can be, the walk from the main beach/plaza was not too difficult compared to many other options. They have a bar/restaurant on site as well - however we did not eat there as we already had reservations elsewhere.

This hotel has it all. And a safe haven to go back to after a long exhausting day of activities. From the bus right outside the doorstep. It is a perfect base when you are planning to visit, Amalfi town, Positano, Ischia, Atrani you name it all. That famous Marina di Praia is literally just 5mns walk from this hotel. And also Fiordo di Furore bridge is 18mns walk from here. What I love the most is the convenient of both transportation and plenty of choices for food. You just walk down to Marina di Praia and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from and it's one of the best cliffside view.. We rented a car from Napoles as I have travel sickness getting bus. During our trip to Positano my husband decided not to bring the car as parking there is extremely difficult to find & also very pricey. But not to worry. Head down to Marina di Praia there's a WATER TAXI that will bring you everywhere. It's actually cheaper taking water taxi than an actual land taxi. ie: From Praia to Positano we got priced €100 return for 2people. But water taxi is €75 for 2 people return. That's a private one and you can decide what time you can return they'll collect you. If you have no problem taking bus it is only around €2-€3 to almost everywhere in Amalfi coast. Now let's talk about the hotel. It's a beautiful hotel set on a beautiful cliffside. Get a balcony room for the best experience & view. You'll see the boats passing by. There is a jacuzzi and swimming pool. The place is a little old, but this was not a problem to us as it was kept cleaned all the time. And you have all the amenities you'll ever need. The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. Eliana in the reception desk is amazing. I called prior our stay to arrange a parking reservation as you have to do that due to limited space. She recommended so many things prior to our trip. She even mentioned there's no need to rent car as bus is right infront of their doorstep and that's true.. Eliana goes above and beyond to make our stay comfortable & perfect. From fixing even the small details. Francesco, a very helpful gentleman who carried our luggage and making sure we are well looked after during breakfast. My Husband and I, are going to miss all the stairs that became our daily exercise from our room to breakfast hehe.. We would also like to thank you Emilio, who gives us a little tour when we arrived whilst waiting to check in. He showed us around the hotel, starting conversation to make us comfortable. He is very nice and very helpful & accommodating.. You see, it's the small simple things that matter in life, that makes the place accommodating. This place offers you clean & comfortable stay, convenient to transportation and restaurants. Again, has jacuzzi and swimming pool. Breakfast offers a wide selection and one of the hotel that has delicious delicacies. Very scenic cliffside view. Staff are very friendly and will go beyond to cater your needs. Well first of all we visit Minori every year and usually stay at Villa Romana which is a particular favourite of ours. This hotel is ideally placed and the family who own the hotel are beautiful. The decor is antiquated and very authentic, however, my other half is celiac and allergic to gluten/wheat. The choice for her for breakfast was very very poor and in general, the breakfast was a real let down. My other half was offered 2 pieces of gluten free bread on the first and second day, gluten free croissant on the third day and back to 2 pieces of bread the rest of the week. For everyone else, not everyone wants to eat salami, cheese and salad or hard boiled egg and some pastries every day. There are plenty of pastry options and there is a bacon and scrambled egg option, however the bacon was vastly undercooked and the egg was baked and was burnt every day which ruined the taste. Our main complaint was that we were put in a very small room and as the temperature in Minori was between 35 and 38 each day the air conditioner in our room did not work. We asked for this to be resolved every day but nothing was ever done. As I stated the family who own this hotel are really lovely people and were polite and tried to do their best for us but little things let this place down. The solarium on the roof was promising however the sun loungers were dated and on one occasion broke when I was lying on it resulting in me falling back against the wall and scratching my back badly. They had a blow up jacuzzi as their dipping pool!!! If these minor faults were ironed out and people with allergens were catered for properly and the breakfast was reinvented to give a better choice it would be a more appealing stay, as well as updating the air conditioning. Finally if they had a proper pool on the roof it would be a game changer. Hope this helps.

We stayed at the Caruso hotel in Ravello. It would be difficult to overstate the beauty of the location. Ravello replaced a location in Norway as the most beautiful / interesting, something I did not think was possible. We (group of 8) stayed at the Margherita Villas. Very nice but more suited for those who value privacy. We weren't so interested in remaining separate so perhaps a room or suite at the hotel would have been better. Service was excellent as you expect from a Belmond property. The grounds were outstanding! The best feature was likely the infinity pool. I'm not usually one to get overly excited about a pool, but this case was an exception. For our stay, there was nothing to even mildly fault and everything to praise. We will be back

After Hotel Margherita, we carried on to Positano, where we stayed for one night, but we wish we stayed in Praiano longer as it was in our opinion better than Positano. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous, clean and had beautiful rooms. The breakfast was amazing and staff of both restaurant and front desk were the nicest we ever experienced. Thank you all for such a great time!
