Stayed here for 5 nights and was pleasantly surprised. Great hotel, handy for the train station and metro system which we used every day to get around Naples. Had a nice modern room with a balcony. The road outside is very busy but the double glazed doors kept out all the noise. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Would definitely go back.

We booked feeling a little nervous as we read the various reviews but also hesitated with little experience of a B&B Guest house. There seemed very few choices in Naples ( Chiaia district) a prime , safer area ; to have a suite with some kitchenette and a very reasonable price. We were warmly welcomed to our studio suite, spacious , well organised with a lot of thought in the location of design of fixtures and furniture; seating to take breakfast, working desk and or relax on the sofa. Brightly lit room with big “can open” sound proof windows or option to use the air conditioning system . Views of the nearby residential apar**ents actually helped us feel at home ( even though we were not able to enjoy the Naples sea view) Bed, mattress , linen and pillows were fine ( for those who require more specific finer finishes should not go to a Guest house) Bathroom was practical and had all that one needed, with hand held shower and rain shower installed. Kitchenette had electric stove , coffee maker, kettle , Fridge and utensils. Again sufficient for a 4 night stay. Any longer an oven or toaster would have been nice to heat up bread. The highlight worth mentioning, as most reviews have , is Massimo who helped us with recommendations, guided us with a local map, booked day tour to Pompeii, our taxi and so much more.. Honestly, for those of us who have been lucky to stay in 5 star hotels will know that you don’t always get this type of discreet professional reliable hospitality that Massimo has shown us. If you don’t mind staying at a guest house which may sound daunting , or that the entrance of the building may be slightly off the side street but having read this review will reassure you that the 24 hours security guards and the gated premises made it feel like a home away from home. Thank you Massimo and team for keeping our room super clean , daily when we really didn’t expect the service. Likewise appreciated the small touches of receiving disposable raincoats in case of heavy rain on our tour.
B&B Chez Moi

We stayed at Chez Moi for 4 nights. The hotel is located very near the Napoli Centrale station and thus, it is very easy to take the train to various other cities. Also the harbour (the ferries to Amalfi, Capri etc) is within walking distance. Even though they say that Napoli is unsafe and full of thieves, we did not experience the area where the hotel is located as such. Our room window was to the courtyard so we did not hear anything from the street. Our room had been changed without telling us in advance to another, smaller room but we received compensation so we were okay with that. The room was clean and tidy and the beds comfy but a minus goes to the bathroom. It was in a serious need of updating and the shower did not work very well. At some point during our stay, the toilet chair started leaking water but the staff fixed it quickly. The balconies are not real balconies but so called French balconies where you cannot sit. The air conditioner worked well. Our room was located next to the reception and our door did not block any noice so starting at 7 am we started hearing the door bell and the phone ringing etc. The cleaning of the room worked as excepted. Not sure if the bed sheets were changed every day but the towels were. The breakfast was OK, really nothing to highlight but it worked. The staff was friendly but sometimes we could hear them to our room arguing loudly with other guests. If you are looking for a budget hotel with a great location, we would recommend this hotel. If you are looking for a perfect experience, please skip.
B&B Alla Ferrovia

Ho alloggiato dal 15 al 17 aprile 2023 in questo b&b con il mio ragazzo. Inutile dire che non ci vedranno MAI più. Arriviamo in una zona degradata, piena di ragazzi di colore che ti guardano male, svestiti, mal nutriti, che cercavano nei cassonetti e camminavano scalzi. Nonostante questo aspettiamo Paolo , il nostro addetto al check-in, davanti il portone. Erano le 08:30 del mattino, arriva e dice pure che aveva tardato perché era un orario straordinario per arrivare quello, quando noi volevamo lasciare solo i bagagli e andare via. Comunque ci ha fatto pagare e ci ha chiesto 10€ in più per le tasse, noi abbiamo detto che era tutto compreso e non ha chiesto più nulla e poi ci ha aperto la stanza. Stanza carina e normale, peccato per gli asciugamani pieni di macchie gialle, ma noi avevamo le nostre per fortuna. All entrata del B&b si trova una saletta con dei tavolini e delle signore che la mattina preparano la colazione inclusa nel prezzo , di cui noi non abbiamo usufruito perché irritati dai rumori e dalle voci delle stesse alle 07:30 di mattina che purtroppo ci hanno svegliato tutti e due giorni. Per quei pochi giorni di relax che una persona ha, vorrebbe svegliarsi all orario che le pare, ma vabbè . La prima sera usciamo di casa e troviamo dentro il cortile del palazzo su per giù 10 ragazzi di colore chi in piedi chi coricati a terra e chi mangiava. Usciamo e decidiamo di chiamare il proprietario per lamentarci della situazione poco sicura e ci risponde con “non so che dirti” e alla nostra affermazione che potevamo ritornare dopo cena solo accompagnati dalle forze dell ordine, risponde con “se vi fa sentire più sicuri”. Nel frattempo avevamo cercato pure Paolo che dopo averci detto come poteva aiutarci, presentatogli il problema visualizza e non risponde. Non solo, tornati nel B&b e per fortuna c era solo un ragazzo che dormiva davanti il portone, le chiavi non funzionano bene. Cioè non puoi fare neanche di fretta perché devi provare ad aprire 2-3 volte. Noi ve lo consigliamo, ci siamo trovati male e non abbiamo avuto nessun appoggio e aiuto, potevano trovarsi benissimo li solo delle ragazze e essere aggredite.

We had a great stay in this beautiful hotel. They organized our luggage transportation in a parking where the transfer left us since the hotel is in a pedestrian area. In the hotel, Leonardo welcomed us and all receptionists were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is very beautiful in a classic old building well maintained with pool and gardens. The restaurant and bar areas are very beautiful. Breakfast was good with a great variety of home-made cakes and breads local delicacies, fresh fruits, cold cuts and cheeses. Orange fresh squeezed juice was available. Vegetal milk (oat, soy) was available. Coffee was very good. Breakfast team was really nice and professional. Concierge service was very nice, before our arrival we’ve booked a private boat tour which was very professional. They came to pick us up and guided us to their dock. Room facilities: very nice room with comfortable pillows and linen. For the hairdryer I suggest to get a more powerful one because the one in the room is not enough for women. Pool bar: A special thanks to Antonio that made us feel like home. Lounge bar: A great choice of wines and cocktails, nice music and great snacks. Really recommend this hotel. They also have a beautiful one called Miramare with a great sea view. We’ll come back for sure. Highly recommended.

Hi, We were upgraded to their next door hotel. Location is quite close (1 metro station to Garibaldi or Napoli Centrale) but the area is quite dirty and felt unsafe. Hotel room was super clean and facilities were top notch and good value for money. We had breakfast included but we had to leave early morning so didn't take the breakfast. The main complaint I had was: They kept us waiting telling us that room will be ready in 5 min but took more than 1 hour. Granted we arrived at 12 and we were ready to drop the bag in the storage but they kept on telling will be in 5-10 min. It took them like 75 min to get the room ready. When I confronted them, they were quite unapologetic about it and in fact they were telling that they are doing a favour... Overall: Good hotel, good facilities. Staff was unhelpful and area was dirty.
The Bellini House by House in Naples

The Bellini House was a really cute B&B experience!! My favorite thing about it was the staff. The girls were all extremely friendly and helpful, and made me feel right at home. There are only a handful of rooms, so it felt really cozy here. The breakfast and hangout area was right outside of my door, which made me feel close to other guests and safe, especially as a solo traveler. There were drinks and snacks that you can help yourself to and a ”honesty box” system. The breakfast was a wide selection of pastries, fresh squeezed juice!! and eggs that were made to order. The room was big but quite basic. It was also sufficiently clean! Please note that there is no elevator here and The Bellini House is located one floor up from the ground floor, so you will have to carry your luggage up the stairs.

location of the hotel is good, only a few minutes from the flix bus station, and a few more minutes to the train station. about 15 minutes walk to the Pompeii entrance. (side remark about the pompeii archeological park, when you walk towards the entrance, there will be a lot of people telling you all the things to lure you to join their tour or get a skip the line tickets and audio and etc. don't believe in what they say. just reserve your ticket from the website or get it at the entrance.) the hotel staff are very friendly, gave us a map and told us the relevant info of the pompei town, where to eat, where is the stations, and etc. breakfast is also good. the room is a bit old and the bathroom is really small. maybe there are some better rooms but the one we booked was small.

The warm welcome of Riccardo at Il Moro di Positano and the breath-taking views from the public and private patios make all the town stairs up and down worth walking. Opening our balcony doors each morning to the view down over the buildings below to the blue sea and across to the high hills and sheer rocky mountains above was pure joy. Riccardo was everything you could wish for in a host. Always smiling and willing to make dinner recommendations and special tips to ease daytime activity plans. Switching languages flawlessly depending on the nationality of the guests. The rain shower and bidet in the bath added to the feel of luxury. The vast, varied spread of choices at the breakfast buffet set us up for each adventurous day. This B&B was certainly great value for the money and it was clear that the manager’s heart was in pleasing his guests. We were so happy to have stayed our 4 nights in Positano here at Il Moro.
