GGuest UserThe overall performance is good, the geographical environment is good, not far from Bude Beach and Tintagle Castle , the hotel has a large space, natural ecological environment outdoors, indoor swimming pool and game room, suitable for family vacations.

GGuest UserWe stayed in a family club room with our 3 year old grandson. The room was huge with 3 French doors leading to large balcony & magnificent garden & sea views. The heated pool was superb. Our only niggle would be that because of the dog friendly nature of the hotel there were perhaps naturally dog hairs on the bar/dining room & the shower could have benefitted from a deep clean. Due to the age of the hotel we accept that upgrades occur as necessary on an ongoing basis. Parking was great & all the staff were helpful & friendly. We would definitely return again.

AAndyPPThe hotel and area was fantastic, however, service at the front desk and the restaurant was lacking.
We took a long weekend break and were excited to try the beach club, however our experience was dampened by the service.
Being made to stand around for 5 minutes, whilst being told we hadn't paid (when we had) was unnecessary and frankly embarrassing.
The restaurant was the most disappointing part of the stay.
I'm the evening service was slow, followed by having our order wrong twice and also dropped.
Breakfast at the restaurant was lacking compared to cheaper hotels that offer continental. Small selection , nothing outstanding. When we ordered a cooked breakfast, it took 30-40 minutes to receive some eggs and pancakes although the restaurant was fairly quiet.
However, the room, facilities, and the spa were fantastic. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. The beach club outside was gorgeous. The spa was perfect and treatments were, to quote my partner, 'one of the best massages of my life'.
We're unsure if we would come back. Although the facilities were great, the service was mostly subpar and not what we'd expect from a harbour hotel.

The charismatic entrance foyer draws you into this wonderful exquisite reception area
We had the upmost pleasure in staying on New Years Eve
& were greeted with a lovely glass of free champagne in letting the New year in
They also had a really good modern band playing the finest of music in one of their opulent rooms
We would grant this very fine hotel a definite 5 Stars experience

88285SueHWe stayed for just one night. A much better experience than we had expected, given some of the recent reviews.
The room was large and clean. The bathroom was also very clean and had a lovely,spacious walk-in shower.
The bed was comfortable and we slept well.
Our only negative was that the car park was absolutely full when we arrived at 3:30pm … and the staff checking us in couldn’t have cared less!

Stayed on the hottest weekend in May ever!
One room freezing the other boiling. The air conditioning is not as reliable!
Rooms again varied. Although I chose the same one was spacious and airy the other a bit more crammed
I was told check in was FROM 3pm and we were not allowed in till 4.30 what complicated our plans.
The breakfast is good but super busy. Not enough staff to manage the demand. Felt bad for the staff running around!
Overall good! Great location!

The room with a view was lovely . Warm & with tea coffee facilities & a comfy bed.
The staff were all very friendly & accommodating and breakfast was plentiful in a lovely dining area with fab views.
My only small grumbles would be that the furniture in the room needs an upgrade and there was a £10 charge for the car park .

GGuest UserThe Palace Hotel was a delight to stay at. The rooms were warm, comfortable and clean. The staff were lovely and we were surprised to have evening entertainment. We went on a budget and were delighted with the hotel.
Only thing to add was the bathroom was a bit dated and could do with a new set, I understand having orgional features is nice, however, I think new would be better.
Also we were told breakfast would be £9.00 each on arrival, but when we went to pay it what a whopping £27.00 for a full English (1 of each item) amd some avocado and boiled egg on toast... of course we could have the continental... but it did make us cough a bit!! The service was great though.
Overall great stay would recommend and return.

SSan NaikAs usual with my frequent visit to this area I find Woodbury Park hotel has been my preferred place to stay. Staff are lovely kind and helpful. It’s a beautiful hotel satin a very picturesque location surrounded by pleasant scenery. Hotels and rooms are very clean and well attended to. Restaurant services are clean and impeccable. Credit goes to the chefs and the team who managed the service. I have had a pleasant breakfast service during my stay at Woodbury. I hope the staff and the team at Woodbury keep up the good work and encourage us to use them during my future trips to the area.

GGuest UserThe spa is incredible, so relaxing. Ideal location with about 10 mins walk to Harbour and to Meadfoot beach. Breakfast was on the small side but tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are okay, clean, but for 4* I’d expect a bit more like an iron in the room, toiletries, wash cloths etc. Didn’t sleep that well unfortunately as was woken up by people coming back to room as doors are loud and corridor floors are creaky. This let it down, but I’d return for the spa experience!
