The hotel is conveniently located right next to Junction City shopping mall and directly across from Holy Trinity Cathedral. It's also adjacent to Bogyoke Aung San Market, where you can find jewelry and other goods. Shwedagon Pagoda, Chinatown, and other attractions are all within walking distance, and Shwedagon Pagoda is just a 6-minute drive away, making it incredibly convenient for both shopping and sightseeing. The hotel boasts four specialty restaurants and one bar, catering to diverse tastes. Hai Tien Lo is an award-winning Cantonese restaurant offering stunning views of the Yangon River and Shwedagon Pagoda. Saan restaurant serves international cuisine all day, while Pacific Marketplace provides a lavish breakfast with a wide array of dishes including Okonomiyaki and Indian food. The Teak Bar allows guests to enjoy cocktails with panoramic views of the Yangon skyline. Unfortunately, when we visited, there was only a menu but no staff, possibly due to fewer guests in winter. The infinity pool on the third floor is a major highlight of the hotel. Despite being in the bustling city center, it offers excellent views and scenery, perfect for photos. It's open from 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM and features a poolside bar. The adjacent gym is well-equipped with new facilities, and guests can access it at night with their room key. The hotel also offers sauna and spa facilities, ideal for relaxation. This time, I stayed on the 10th floor, and the room felt a bit dated. The rooms on the 13th floor have already been renovated and are quite grand. Speaking of grand, I have to mention the lobby on the R floor – it's very stylish. Just look at the pictures! Friendly staff, nice pool. Breakfast was passable but nothing special. Biggest complaint - despite all rooms being non smoking, my room absolutely STANK of stale cigarettes. They offered me a can of air freshener spray which covered up the issue for all of 10 minutes. By the time I checked out all my clothes had picked up the smell of stale smoke and made everything in my suitcase smell too.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. It’s formerly known as Rosewood Yangon and now reopened for 8 months. Everything is excellent, very friendly, patient and helpful staff, extraordinary service. The hotel’s history dates back to 1927 so it’s absolutely a historical building. The decoration is very exquisite, breakfast is tasty and there are many choices. The location is also good and safe, very near to Sule Plaza, General Post Office and British Embassy. On terrace you can see the river view. I want to especially express my gratitude to Vanessa and Swar, they provided me with a lot of detailed information so I can know more about this hotel, this city and this country. Please make sure they can receive this feedback and my appreciation! Meanwhile, the front desk Moo Thaw, Luca showed me the hospitality. Next time I come to Yangon, I would consider choosing this hotel again, and also I will recommend it to my friends. Hope you can keep this level 😃

”My early check-in was handled smoothly by the lobby staff, who were consistently cheerful and helpful. Having stayed here five times, I can confidently say the service is superb. A major highlight is the breakfast, which I find exceptional because of the delicious local food options. Furthermore, the staff makes arranging Grab taxis very convenient. I consider this, overall, to be the best hotel experience in Yangon.”

Tried out the sarkies bar, it’s usually not busy. They have a fair selection of drinks. The air conditioning is working very well. That is the case throughout the entire property.

Good old hotel with antique atmosphere and courteous service, I liked the room but got dissaponted that the bedsheets and towels are too old and not clean, and it has some more caveats. The hotel is situated inward corner from the main street and need to call taxi every time just to get out, which is annoying if you want to go around the nearby area. Inside the hotel building there's one convenient store but the front desk never mentioned that and couldn't find it on the day of arrival. The biggest problem is there are so many noisy and dangerous street dogs nearby the hotel and they are barking at every car going in and out from the hotel, and when you try to walk back to the hotel it is really a big threat as they swarm and try to bite you even in the daytime. Those dogs are seriously damaging the hotel access and make the guests uneasy.

The best value for money in a downtown hotel in the heart of Yangon city. Safe, impeccable service, easy & early check-in given, clean, comfortable beds, hot water bath tubs, a good breakfast with variety and of course the staff; welcoming & hard-working. Highly recommended! Affordable prices, great service and it's one of the 3 earth-quake proof hotels in the whole of Yangon. Select The Royal Park Yangon ~ you will be delighted with this choice of stay in a hotel in Yangon. The only problem I faced was 1 of the 6 nights I booked online was not registered with the hotel on Trip .com. That was rather strange, since I had a confirmed & paid document in black & white.

Every time I go to Thailand, I live in your hotel! Mainly close to the hospital, two minutes walk to the hotel. There is a 711 supermarket outside the hotel. The pharmacy restaurant is very convenient!

It's a really great hotel. We had a lake view room, and it was fantastic. The staff are really friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Alainmar in the restaurant - great coffees. The hotel is well presented and clean. The gym is pretty good. The breakfast is top notch. The only issue I had, and it's quite important for me, was the wifi was not very good.

Would stay again. Great location, close to area famous landmark by walking distance. Room need sound proof due to noise from street and near by park especially on morning. Also room key needed to be updated. Like old style bulk key chain back in the 80's . Great breakfast buffet and enjoy it. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Overall, very pleased with stay.
