Terokai Ulasan Tetamu Hotel di Stockholm

We really appreciated the central location this hotel had in Stockholm. The hotel is located literally 20 m from the Arlanda Express exit and is close to major sites like Stockholm's Central Station, city hall, and many good restaurants. There is tram stations nearby that can help you get to Gamla Stan, the Royal Palace and the museum area. We liked the quiet room we had and it always seemed to be at the right temperature during our stay in December. The room was a bit compact but was packed full of stuff - we had two chairs, a large TV, a desk, a kettle and a small closet to hang jackets in. As a couple, we wish we booked the room with a slightly bigger bed but we had no problems sleeping through the night. We also wish the electrical was better planned in the room because the light switch and plug locations were not convenient - there was a reading lamp set pretty high above the bed, there wasn't a plug in on both sides of the bed and the majority of plugs in the room were under the desk space so our kettle had to be used on the floor. The bathroom was nice and clean at this hotel. They had some nice sage scented products including conditioner, shampoo and body soap. The towels were very absorbent and soft. It was easy to get hot water and the shower had very good pressure. The shower wall was not bolted to the ground and there wasn't a tight seal but water only leaked out once. The breakfast was a highlight at this hotel. They had a large dining area on the ground floor near the lobby area and they offer a large variety of items. They had a hot food area with pancakes, chicken sausage, bacon, eggs, potatoes and vegetables with all the accompaniments like lingonberry sauce, whipped cream, mustard, maple syrup, etc. They had a coffee machine, large tea selection, smoothies, ginger/lemon shots, juices and on Saturday they offered us some non-alcoholic champagne. We appreciated the variety of cheese, pastries, fruit and cold items in the breakfast area as well. It was a good start to the day each day we were here. Check in went smoothly and they have options to do a digital check in and to check out online. The lobby area had a games area, a bar and a lounge space. They also had a Christmas station setup at the back of the lobby which had candy for the children on Saturday. Behind the hotel is an Ice Bar which is promoted at the hotel. If we find ourselves back in Stockholm we would consider this hotel again or recommend it to friends and family who visit.

Excellent location: 2-3 minutes walking distance to the central railway station, the city center and many shops, department stores, restaurants, bars, theatres… long inchecking time (a long check-in que), the breakfast buffe can be improved… A nice hotel which we recommend.

Staff were pleasant & friendly enough. We were given the room relatively early since it was ready which we much appreciated. Hotel location is excellent with metro, supermarkets, shops & good restaurants all within close walking distance. We enjoyed the included breakfast which was of good variety & quality. Overall pleased with the very decent value stay.

The location is nice, but another radiosonde hotel in the airport was better in location. And the service in the reception was actually bad. They didn’t explain anything, I mean he just told the floor. I want them to tell the room number and explain some like open time or some services or Wi-Fi. I don’t believe that that happened because I’m Japanese. Anyway, I couldn’t say the service is good.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, right next to the commuter rail station, making it easy to reach the central station in just 10 minutes. The breakfast provided was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations, offering convenience, tasty breakfast, and exceptional service. I highly recommend it for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Clean, compact & comfortable. Walkable distance from central train station. Down comforters, scenic view from our large window, large screen tv, clean bathroom with shower, free Wi-fi, self check-in (we didn’t have a reservation so we had to check-in with a staff person). We had a “Compact Double” Room for 1,689,00 SEK (about $156 USD) and it was worth it!

Lovely quaint hotel right in the old town. Can walk everywhere from here. The staff were wonderful. Room was small but adorable. Breakfast was a wonderful treat. The only negatives were that there were no usb ports or US outlets and that there is no free coffee or even water in the lobby ( you could get it for a fee) and no coffee maker or hot water for tea in the room. Otherwise a great experience.

First of all the people on the desk were so welcoming and friendly- especially Gigi- she was so interested in my trip and offered help if I needed it. I was also loaned an umbrella which saved me from getting drenched! Gigi was on the desk when I departed this mo, remembering my name and wishing me a safe trip home. Great service!

Great, lively bar and restaurant! Great location. Rooms were good. Check-in and check out was fairly quick. Quite a few small issues though that they could easily improve upon. Curtain doesn't close all the way so there is some light in the room from the buildings next door that keep their lights on at night. Internet and phones weren't working the night I arrived. They could have told me that upon arrival.. There was some urban construction at 4am for some strange reason. I was told I had made two bookings but I only paid for one. Not sure what happened with the second one that they said I made. Wish they would have followed up with me so I didn't have to worry about it.. They say there is a swimming pool on trip.com but then I found out you can't actually swim in it. They should be more transparent about the size and purpose. I'd still consider it again though.

This was not what we were expecting at all. I’ve slept on a 14.5 hour sleeper train in India, in a damp tent in the Serengeti surrounded by hyenas, hostels across Europe, I can fall asleep in airports even, but this is was the least comfortable nights sleep of my life! Luckily we only stayed for 2 nights, had it been longer I would have moved. We arrived at about 8.30pm and the main door to the small foyer/ breakfast room was not manned, which in itself was concerning, I tried calling the number on my booking and the number on the door, my partner walked around the underground lair to try and find someone, we called out down there everything! After about 10 minutes a guy who my other half actually passed in the hall appears. Surely he could see that he was wandering round looking lost?! As part of the booking speil… he adds that the desk is manned 24hours a day…!!! Definitely NOT! I knew I’d booked a twin room but was surprised to be greeted with the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in, with bunk beds, honestly fine for friends and back packers, but this is not a cheap hostel! The bunk beds may be the worst designed bunk beds I’ve ever seen, the ladder planks were constructed the wrong way so you had to place your foot on the narrowest part of the slat! Once I got to the top, the mattress was sunken in the middle, and lumpy, and the sides of the bed were scratched, and even had initials carved on it! And the pillow was more like a fat lumpy scatter cushion. This along with unpleasant smells from the corridor, no window, the rooms rattling when the neighbours moved, dust on the surfaces, and no control over the heating made for two wholly uncomfortable nights sleep. They shouldn’t advertise breakfast as breakfast, rather morning snacks as there was a bowl with apples, a bowl with cookies in and a platter of sweaty clingfilmed cheese rolls. Along with cold coffee and tea. We skipped it the second day! They shouldn’t advertise the Wi-Fi as working either, I feel like these days it should be a very basic standard to include sufficient Wi-Fi in the rooms, it’s virtually non existent. It shows as a signal then “no internet connection”. The pros are the fact that the location is quite good, and the staff are fairly friendly. We had a laugh about the ridiculousness of the room/cell. This is why I won’t give it 1 star. But really this cannot and should not be advertised as a hotel, and should be advertised at HALF the price it is as a hostel, as then I think it will do quite well.
