I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Pingyao. The location, right inside the old city walls, was perfect for exploring the ancient town on foot and it was very quiet in the evening, ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and nicely heated, which was especially important given the cold temperatures outside. A special mention goes to the owner and his wife for the excellent pick-up service from the train station, which made my arrival smooth and stress-free.

On my way back to Beijing from a self-driving tour, I stayed in Xinzhou. I searched and searched on Ctrip, as I go every year, so I've gained experience. I'm an environmental designer, so I'm very concerned with visuals. I chose a brand name or something beautiful. After more than 20 days, I was exhausted and wanted to choose a hot spring hotel. I started looking at pictures of each one on Ctrip and finally chose the Futian Huayu Hot Spring Hotel. It was such a great value and amazing! The service was great! The hot springs were amazing and clean! This hotel is truly built with nostalgia in mind! I've decided to make a special trip to stay for three days next time and explore the old city! We checked into Yunman·Xi at 0930. We were afraid that we would not be able to find the hotel at night, so the lady came to pick us up at the parking lot of the ancient city bar. It is very convenient to park and take a taxi there. Facilities: There are not many rooms in the hotel. Each room has a private pool where you can put hot spring water for hot spring bathing (P6). There are curtains so you don’t have to worry about them showing through. It’s very comfortable. You can shower directly next to the pool. There is a Xiaoai classmate in the room, which can intelligently control the air conditioner and TV with voice. Environment: The hotel is decorated in a very bourgeois style, with a koi pond and camping chairs (P7-9, 11). It is very comfortable to drink tea and enjoy the breeze. There is an observation deck on the second floor. We checked in at night, and the night view was beautiful. During the day, refer to P8, 12-13, 1001🇨🇳 is also in time for the National Day When I checked out, I happened to encounter a truck transporting hot spring water (P14). The proprietress said that the store is close to the parking lot and transports it at least twice a day. The hot spring water released from the hot spring is all hot spring water. The temperature when it is transported is 50 degrees +, lower left corner It is the passage for transportation into each room of the hotel. It is imported from the truck with a hose. We were so busy watching this process that we forgot to take pictures hahh😂 I would also like to mention Yunman·Xi’s mascot (P15) - September (named September because they picked up a stray cat in September). It is a super beautiful silver gradient folded ear and very cute. Small, not afraid of life I stayed for one night and had a good rest. The proprietress and the ladies were very nice. I recommend everyone to choose their home and go to the hot springs again next time♨️

This place is absolutely wonderful. Centrally located, the building is magnificent and our room was a dream (we were also upgraded and our room was on two levels with a nice balcony and a really spacious living area). Staff was really helpful and kind - they also hired a driver for us since we wanted to visit Hanging Monastery directly from the high speed station, before even checking in at the hotel: they took care perfectly of our necessity and the organisation was flawless. I really recommend this place to anybody! you will not regret it!!!

This hotel is located in the ancient city of Xinzhou. It has an elegant environment, hygienic and comfortable environment, and convenient parking. Tea, snacks and moon cakes are provided in the room, making people feel at home and warm. Especially the service attitude is very good. They changed rooms for us twice until we were satisfied. The hotel also provided late night snacks in the evening, but because it was a bit late, I didn't try them. In addition, when I left the hotel, I left behind a bamboo folding clothes hanger that has been with me for decades in work and travel. Our stay at the Datong Yungang Hotel truly exceeded expectations! The hotel's overall decor is opulent and magnificent, grand yet tasteful. The room was exceptionally spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering expansive views – cityscapes during the day and distant ancient city lights at night. It was a very comfortable stay. Families with children needn't worry at all – the hotel is very kid-friendly, and the staff would proactively smile and greet our child. The swimming pool was clean and the water temperature was just right, though at 1.6 meters deep, it's more suitable for adults or teenagers who can swim. Little ones would need extra caution regarding safety. The biggest surprise was that Fenglin Pavilion, a super famous local restaurant in Datong, is located right on the hotel's first floor! For dinner, we tried their signature Sweet and Sour Mandarin Fish (Songshu Guiyu). It was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with a perfect balance of sweet and sour. The sauce was glossy, and the presentation was exquisite – absolutely textbook quality. Our entire family raved about it! Our room was spotlessly clean, and parking was incredibly convenient – the underground parking lot is huge, making self-driving trips stress-free. Plus, it's only about a 30-minute drive from the hotel to the Yungang Grottoes, so the location is quite ideal. In summary, whether for a family trip, a holiday, or if you want to experience high-quality accommodation in Datong, this place is highly recommended! We will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Datong!

The hotel is just opposite the ticket office of Huayan Temple, which is very convenient. Because it is a renovation of an ancient building, there is no elevator, but the hotel staff will help take the luggage from the parking lot to the hotel. Because we have to leave early the next morning and miss the hotel breakfast, after telling the front desk, the hotel manager specially ordered takeaway milk and bread for us. Thank you very much! There are also free snacks and drinks in the room water bar. In the evening, the staff also prepared Chinese medicine foot bath buckets and Tremella soup. For me who has walked a lot for several consecutive days, it is simply great. I feel much more comfortable after soaking my feet in hot water. This detail is really heartwarming!

I booked this guesthouse for one night at the last minute, as I couldn't find a hotel room for Saturday during the tail end of my holiday. However, the experience was quite good, exceeding my expectations. Next time, I'd definitely stay for a few more days. The only minor downsides, objectively speaking, were the soundproofing and blackout capabilities. However, these are common issues for most guesthouses located in historic buildings. The room was quiet and tidy, with quality bathroom amenities. What truly deserves praise about this place is the staff. They were always friendly and greeted guests warmly, contacting me in advance about my itinerary. Upon arrival, they helped with my luggage, recommended routes, and offered sound advice. Breakfast was very enjoyable and peaceful. A touch of soft background music, however, would have actually enhanced the experience. This guesthouse is situated right behind 'A Dream of Datong', faces the pedestrian street, and Huayan Temple is just across the road. It's also very close to the city wall's climbing entrance. It's a great choice for visiting the ancient city – a true oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle. This time, I only brought my child, but next time, our family of three will definitely come together to experience it.

It's really possible. I wanted to book a good room at that time, so I chose this more expensive room type. Later I found out that this view king room is on both sides of the aisle at the entrance of the homestay. People come and go, and you have to look inside when you pass by. The large floor-to-ceiling windows face the window and the bathtub without any cover, so you can see clearly what people are doing inside. It feels a bit like a zoo. Otherwise, you have to keep the curtains drawn. So if couples travel, don't choose this apartment❗❗It's better to choose other cheap rooms in independent courtyards (the ones with walls in the picture). Because we were not satisfied with the room, the manager said that we could cancel the reservation if we were not satisfied. Because we couldn't find another hotel temporarily, we took the initiative to change to a lower-priced apartment. Although the manager said that the price difference would not be refunded for active room changes, satisfaction with the room is the most important thing. The coordination of the ladies working at the homestay is still very strong👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻The ladies working are very polite, beautiful and easy to talk to. They give paper towels every time they go out. There is a snack street at the door, which is very convenient👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻The apartment layouts are all sent out. It is recommended that you can consult the store before checking in, so as not to be assigned to an unsatisfactory room.
