Hotel Romantic di Shanxi, China

I had an amazing stay here. Super nice building and room, with a nice internal tea room/courtyard which I unfortunately did not have the chance to use due to lack of time. Amazing location, inside the walls of the ancient city, endless restaurants and attractions are within walking distance. Would sleep here again if coming back to Datong, 100%.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The service at the buffet breakfast was impeccable while the breakfast varieties were acceptable. The service provided by the staff with the employees' tag below was superb during my breakfast. The room is huge, a truly international 5 star quality. Daily cleaning service was great while I didn't manage to get their name, but kudos to their services. All in all, my experience here was great, and I would recommend anyone who stay at this hotel.

這次入住體驗真的超出預期！民宿整體環境乾淨整潔，裝修精緻又有格調，拍照特別出片，一眼就愛上了。 重點誇誇齊全又好用的設施：房間裏配套很完善，床品柔軟舒適，洗漱用品品質在線，衞浴出水順暢；家電一應俱全，空調、熱水都很給力，WiFi穩定流暢，收納空間也很充足，生活所需應有盡有。細節做得特別到位，不管是短期小住還是長住都很方便，住起來舒心又安心，完全不輸星級酒店，下次來還會首選這裏，強烈推薦！

This was the most beautiful and luxurious hotel we stayed in for our entire trip to China. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The hotel staff was helpful and very responsive over WeChat. We enjoyed the nightly cocktails and 24h coffee at the lobby. The bartender was nice enough to mix a special cocktail for my pregnant wife, and he did not skim on the alcohol for my cocktail. There was complimentary water and drinks in the room. The plumbing was excellent, the location above the mall was great, and there was a 24 convenience store downstairs. There are also decent food options and massage places nearby. The room had automatic window blinds, a spacious bathtub for 2 people, and a very comfortable shower and toilet space. The hotel also alwyas made sure we had sufficient refreshments, whether in room or in the lobby. It was a shame we only stayed for 2 nights, would love to come back.

location is perfect. Hotel is located in a beautiful building. Room was ok. Please note that the beds are really hard, especially for European people. I knew we had original kan beds, and expected them to be hard, but they were really really hard. Our kids were to tired and we let them sleep out a bit, so we skipped breakfast which was until 09:30. People worlking at hotel could be a bit more helpfull. The hotel itself is bigger then expected. If you go for teh scenic adventure, you can choose to stay here as the location is perfect. You also only need to walk like 20 meters max from the drop off point where no shuttle busses are allowed.

The hotel has a modern design, but it’s not very convenient, especially the shower room, which has nowhere to hang towels or clothes. Additionally, the hotel allows non-guests to enter and take photos, which makes the place feel less secure. A group of people walked in right after us just to take pictures. They claimed they had visited before, but as a paying guest, I find this unacceptable!

If we could, we would give the service a 6 out of 5. Staff were utterly lovely and so helpful. They helped us to organise a fantastic day trip to the Yungang grottoes and to the hanging temple, with suggestions that we would not have thought of ourselves. We only know two words of Chinese, but they were so patient with us! Apart from the service, the hotel is in a stunning location and the interior design is fantastic. We wish we could have stayed longer; this was definitely a highlight of our trip! Thank you!

13年裝修的九號樓，是有點舊了，電視滿是雪花，傢俱漆水脱落，但整體還是非常大氣穩重，看得出昔日的輝煌和霸氣。 服務非常周到親切，每個人都深切感受到員工的熱情。從車子抵達迎接，幫助搬運行李，到快速熟練的辦理入住，再到詳細的酒店介紹絲絲入扣非常專業。樓層的小管家康林燕很貼心，有問必答解決了許多小問題。 有接駁車送至酒店二號門，步行兩百米即是晉祠博物館，很便捷。是早起參觀晉祠的不二選擇。 酒店的早餐特別是西式麥芬糕點很棒。

這家酒店體驗感超棒！房間空間寬敞大氣，佈局合理，完全不擁擠。整體環境衞生做得特別到位，處處乾淨整潔，無異味無灰塵，住着舒心。房間配置很齊全，配有舒適沙發、冰箱，還有獨立衞浴，設施嶄新好用。入住還贈送免費紅酒和飲品，性價比超高。裝修精緻大氣，採光通透，床品柔軟舒服，整體氛圍感高級，服務貼心周到，出行住宿首選，強烈推薦！

槽點實在太多了。17時到店，房間還沒收拾出來。空等一小時。預訂頁面顯示家庭房的小床是1.35的，最後發現是個2.1米的……就這，還好意思原價收費？房間一進去，一個撕開的T包裝赫然放在密碼箱上。瞬間全屋哪兒也不想碰了。淋浴間的大噴頭根本沒水。工程的人過來架着梯子搞半天……這些問題難道是等客人入住後才發現的？牛啊。早餐牛奶區，牛奶杯子高，麥片裝置矮，於是很多大人孩子衹能爸麥片撒的到處都是。也沒人清理。
