Hotel Romantic di Kyoto Prefecture, Japan

Berhampiran stesen susur keluar barat Hachiko, sesuai untuk orang yang menaiki JR Haruka atau Shinkansen balik. Sebab dekat dengan jalan naik. Tetapi jika sesiapa memberi tumpuan kepada perjalanan bas di Kyoto, ia akan berada di seberang, berjalan kaki yang jauh. Ditempah 2 malam dan telah dinaik taraf ke bilik di sayap selatan. Letakkan beg pakaian anda dengan mudah. Terdapat plag di tepi katil. Katilnya sederhana lembut. Tetapi bantal itu sangat keras. Tetapi terdapat daun kecil dan lembut yang boleh digunakan secara bergantian. Lampu di dalam bilik tidak begitu terang. Terdapat 2 botol air percuma di dalam bilik yang hampir lengkap, hanya kehilangan topi mandi. Di sini, sistem daftar masuk kiosk mudah digunakan. Sarapan pagi tersedia jika anda belum membelinya. Terdapat 3 ruang makan untuk dipilih, setiap satu berharga 3000 yen.

The breakfast was very delicious and had a wide variety of choices. Everything tasted great and I never got bored of it even after a few days. The onsen was also very comfortable and relaxing — it was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. I also really liked the shampoo and bath amenities provided by the hotel; they smelled amazing and made my hair feel very smooth. Another nice touch was that the hotel provided free laundry washing, although the dryer required a small fee. They also offered free ramen at night, which was a really nice service, but I was too full to try it at the time. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again!

My experience at the Rihga Royal Hotel was decent. Customer service went well during check in. The room is clean and spotless, with mentions of exceptional service from the room cleaning. However the amenities at the hotel is very limited, I was deeply disappointed when there were no laundry/washing machine amenities available.

I took an Uber instead, which cost around ¥2,000 — much more comfortable after a long trip. 💧 **Amenities**: Drinking water is provided near the lift, but you’ll need to collect it yourself daily. 🧺 **Laundry**: There’s a washing machine with washer + dryer available for about ¥800 per use. Payment can be made by IC card (like ICOCA) or cash. 🍱 **Breakfast**: Mostly local Japanese options. It’s good to try, but you may not need to take it every day unless you really enjoy local cuisine 😅 🛗 **Lift access**: The lift doesn’t go directly from the ground floor to your room. You’ll first go up to the hotel lobby on the 3rd floor, then change to another lift to access your room. 💡 **Tip**: Consider taking a taxi/Uber on arrival if you have heavy luggage, then use buses for daily travel. Overall, a comfortable stay with a practical location!

Loved the hotel. Incorporated modern and ancient architectures which gives it the ”Kyoto vibes”. The location was good as well, about 20 mins walk (Or 5 mins bus ride) to the shopping streets nearby. Easy to get around. Rooms was clean. The hotel vibes is great for a 3 star hotel! Staff were friendly and warm. Room size was just right for a couple. Really love the concept of the hotel. Feels like a 4 star hotel

Spacious room by Japanese standards, great location, nice breakfast (though the coffee from the machine is very bad). Quite poor room cleaning service. They call it “eco-cleaning”, proper cleaning is done only once every three days. The only daily service is towel replacement. Nobody made our bed for three days (without changing the sheets). When I asked the guy at reception how this relates to eco-standards, he couldn’t explain it. Also, nobody washed our coffee cup for three days — they said it’s not covered by their “eco-cleaning standard”.

Fantastic hotel, great amenities, great onsen, very good staff, and very nice breakfast buffet. We had a two single beds reservation and asked if they could put the two together to make one large bed... they said ok, and upgraded us to a larger room... we are very grateful to the front desk lady and the staff. The hotel has a superbe top deck with a nice view all over Kyoto. The Kyoto aquarium is 9 minutes away on foot from the hotel, and their is a bridge from the hotel straight to the JR station. We will book it again.

Lovely clean hotel - great amenities - within 25 min walk to Gion - 7/11 2 min walk away - would definitely recommend - only negative is that it’s hard to regulate the room temp - can get either too hot or too cold - however still a great stay - would come back
