Overall, my stay at the Zhengzhou Greenland Marriott Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The view from the window was breathtaking. Highly recommended!

This is one of the most satisfying hotels I've stayed in recently. In recent years, I've noticed a decline in the overall standards of major hotel chains, even 5-star and 5-diamond properties. The quality of rooms, from bedding and linens to the overall scent, seems to be deteriorating. For example, mid-month, I stayed at the Marriott on Nanjing Road in Shanghai, and the linens were already a dull grayish-white. Then I visited the Ritz-Carlton Tianjin, a hotel with a century of architectural heritage, but a strong smell of wool carpet permeated everywhere, from the lobby to the rooms! I even wondered if it was a pet-friendly hotel, thinking it was the smell of cats and dogs. But I digress. However, this hotel's aesthetic is simple yet grand. The rooms are fully equipped and don't feel dated. The lighting control panel offers various options, and the linens and bedding are pristine white, feeling silky and very comfortable. I particularly appreciated the pillows: one goose down and one memory foam, and their height was just perfect for me, as I'm not accustomed to sleeping on overly soft duck down pillows. The room had a fresh and dry ambiance, perhaps due to Luoyang's inland location in the heart of the Central Plains. I especially liked the wall panels; I even took pictures to save as inspiration for my own home renovation. I've attached a few casual photos for reference. Overall, the value for money here is outstanding!

Very good hotel, very good experience. 1. After booking, the front desk took the initiative to call and ask me about my room preferences, which was very considerate. 2. Check-in took the initiative to upgrade the room and sent us to the elevator door. 3. Welcome fruit and yogurt were delivered directly to the room, and asked if I was satisfied with the room. If I was not satisfied, I would change it. 4. The hotel has complete facilities, comfortable sleeping, and good sound insulation. 5. The hotel's breakfast is very rich and delicious. 6. The stay was very comfortable. The hotel is very nice and clean. The rooms are very spacious and the bathroom was amazing. Special mention to Mr Aaron at the front reception who helped us with our airline tickets as the Airline company staff was unable to understand our English. One thing they should improve on are the labels on the food items in the breakfast, since its an international chain they should consider these labels for international guests. The labels should in my opinion explain properly the ingredients or contents of the dish

The room was very nice but too cold. We asked the hotel to get a blanket and they gave us a mobile heater which worked fine. The breakfast buffet has a lot of variety only on Sunday when it was very full, the hotel didn't fill up the empty food even when it was still 45 minutes before the end. The service was very attentive with drinks and the dirty dishes. On the second morning, we left for breakfast with ”please don't disturb” on the room but the room service came in and cleaned the room. It's a good service but the staff should respect the guest's decision about entering the room.
