Hotel Dengan Spa di Jiangsu, China

Arrived past 2pm the rooms were not ready. So we went for lunch at the hotel noddle place. After lunch, past 3 pm only one room was ready. The room I had was suppose to be non smoking but someone smoked in the room and it lingered in the bed; pillow etc. we couldn’t change it as hotel was fully booked. So I had to suck it up. Maybe the hotel should impose a cleaning and deodorizer fee as a penalty or as a deterrent for people who smoke in a non-smoking rooms. The room heating didn’t keep the room warm. The explanation was the insulation is poor and they gave me a portable heater. The other room had carpet ( mine has floor cold floorboards) and there were no cigarette stench and it was warm. So my advise is to get a room with carpet. Breakfast room was lovely, the breakfast was okay, however you won’t get any staff attention. The saving grace was the Panmen Garden which you should visit both day and night. It was great because it’s not busy as everyone else goes to the Humble administrator garden. So there are ample photo opportunities without swarms of tourist. However the promised Panmen scenic area tour with the hotel is no longer available. The hotel should not list it as an experience you can have when you book and room. Overall it’s a beautiful hotel with unique character due to it history and many dignitaries stay here. Being attached to Panmen garden was a plus. You will need to take a DiDi for Suzhou other attractions. Free Hanfu experience was good as my daughter got to utilized it. We also dined at the 4th floor Italian restaurant which serves very good Italian food. Hotel staff are helpful. Wi-Fi is non existent due to full capacity of the hotel and the bandwidth is just insufficient to support the load and it also depends where your room is situated.

The location Is very good, just right beside the Suzhou Train station. But jt could be a little bit noisy at night as the hotel is just right beside the main road. Anyway this is not a big problem for us. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The staffs are friendly and they gave us some bread and cookies upon check in. And to my surprise, i received a small souvenir from them upon check out as well which i believe it's a handmade souvenir with Suzhou ginko leaf. I like it a lot. Thank you!

Stayed at this lovely apartment for 2 nights whilst visiting Suzhou. Really loved the service provided by the team at the front desk! They were so warm and friendly and helpful, even helping us with storing our bags when we arrived early and also when we asked for extra pillows! They were also really helpful in helping to keep some travel documents for us when we forgot to take them with us when we went out firing the day! Very trustworthy :) The front entrance is really small but the whole look and feel of the place is very cosy once you enter. It's also very convenient to get to shops and eateries! The place is super clean and beds are comfy. Very worth it for the price paid for the 2 bedroom suite which allowed our family to stay together. The 2 bathrooms was also a plus so that everyone could wash up faster at the end of the day. The boss of the place was also very helpful on proving suggestions and warnings of what we should avoid when we went out in the morning. He also gave us some local mochi (which was very yummy) and a couple of boxes of local snacks when we left! Overall would definitely stay here again if we ever visit suzhou again!

Very convenient hotel within walking distance, exactly between Terminal 2 and Terminal 1, excellent service and very spacious room. Highly recommended.

This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway in Jinling Hotel Nanjing 新街口. The downtown area on Main Street is a best kept secret and the Jinling Hotel offers everything you need if you don’t feel like venturing out. We were given an upgrade to the executive room and breakfast was served on the 56th floor and we had an amazing time. The atmosphere and service were great. Definitely a must do if you are looking for a good time. The staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable especially to Mr. 邢阳, thank you for making our stay a pleasant one.

Washing machine facilities readily available, if the staff are free, they will help to put in for you in the dryer. Hotel was also clean and very accessible to all places! (: There is also a man sitting on the front recommending tours. If lazy, can get from him. If not can go your own. Exit number 2! 2 stops away from the Suzhou train station!

Hotel stay experience is exceptional wonderful. Location- just next to the metro station. Very convenient. Below hotel there is a convenient store too. Room- clean and well maintained. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Staff service- super warm and friendly. Always willing to help and greet us: Breakfast- food is quite nice. The noodles station wanton noodles is yummy. We stayed only 2 nights. Its really a nice hotel. Will love to be back again next time.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Anshe Hotel during my trip to Suzhou, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service at the front desk. The staff went out of their way to ensure I felt welcome and assisted with every request. Check-in was smooth. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated with modern amenities that made my stay comfortable. I especially loved the AI feature in the room. Additionally, the location of Anshe Hotel is perfect. It’s conveniently situated near the metro station and pingjiang lu, making it easy to explore. Overall, my stay at Anshe Hotel exceeded my expectations. I left feeling rejuvenated and satisfied, and I cannot wait for my next visit. A beautiful hotel, modern and stylish with lovely gardens and surroundings, worthy of IG photos. The hotel gave me a free upgrade, an executive suite with a private garden!! I was so surprised with the garden, such a delightful space with seating. Bed was very comfortable, free mini bar on the first day, and a stylish bathroom with bath tub. Breakfast was sufficient. The front desk staff spoke English and were very helpful in booking my boat trip, also thanks to Peter who was very courteous. Location is excellent, metro is a few metres away, and there is a new shopping village with some lovely western restaurants plus lots of stylish bars. The gardens are also nearby. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed three nights here and everything was perfect .the hotel though old was well maintened.Tue Chinese restaurant is a must eat ,service and staff and food fabulous! But book early very popular .breakfast could be abit crazy when pack and they seemed to be short of staff.special kudos go out to the uncle who despite being a cleaner helped to set tables and stood in to serve. Also to concierge staff Devin li and the rest of the boys who were helpful in giving ideas on attractions .

The hotel is located at Nanjing airport some 10 min walk if you walk quickly or just 15 minutes normal speed, which is nice after or before a flight to stretch your legs and get some air. The hotel also offers free pick-up and drop-off service which is very convenient for early departures. The room is decent size and my room had seat in front of the window as well as work space and a comfortable bed. The room was clean as was the bathroom, had nice shower. bathrobe and slippers provided. Wifi was good, small shop downstairs for drink and snacks. Did not check out other services provided as I had an early flight. Very handy for airport and comfortable stay definitely return if I arrive late or depart early from Nanjing.

This is my 3rd stayed at Novotel. Location is more than perfect. Metro and Maga shopping malls are just across the street. Foods are plenty within 500m. Room is clean and hygienic. Bed is comfortable. Price is reasonable.Will be back again. Just to share, Previously used to use agoda and have been using for the past 15 years, averagely 5 booking yearly. But this time use Trip.com. Made a booking on 26Oct for 27Oct-4Nov to GZ, and realised made a mistake on the dates. Cancelled by mistake and realised there was a cancellation fees of 13%, amount 700CNY. Agoda claimed that the hotel refused the refund, but the money was collected by agoda instead. They lied repeatedly and pretended to assist to send email to the hotel management and kept pushing the blame to the hotel. I did another booking via trip.com and verified with the hotel. Integrity is an issue. No trust anymore. As such, start using Trip.com. In addition, trip.com give higher rewards.

I was staying in Pukou, NanJing, and needed a hotel at Lukou airport for an early morning flight to Korea. GreenTrees was easily accessed by short taxi ride from Metro in the airport, and at checkin the hotel booked me onto their 6.00 AM shuttle minibus. Dinner wasn't available (I arrived at 20.00), but they offered me snacks and I was able to buy more at their 24-hour shop. Breakfast wasn't due to start until 6.00 AM, but they allowed me in at 5.45.

The location was excellent, and the open facilities were very good. I understand it's a ”China thing” that prevents outdoor swimming pools from being open to the public other than July - August - but it's ridiculous and one that a 5-star hotel should change. You advertise having an indoor and outdoor pool; however, 85% of the entire year, it is closed.... so how can you say you have an outdoor pool? It's false advertising. It was 32 degrees this weekend and perfect weather for the outdoor pool, but you didn't have it open - thus, I took away two stars on facilities. The service in the restaurant was EXCELLENT on the 45th floor, extremely good and well worth the 5stars; the front desk people also on the 1st floor incredible; however, the service in the (the indoor!!!) swimming pool was extremely average - feeling like being served from student intern vs. any 5star customer service at all. The service in the bar on the 78th floor was highly average. also, for 5star, with us having to ask for drinks and not a single smile when serving the drinks, while the 78th-floor views are breathtaking, the service was let down. Last but not least, our parents-in-law traveled with us and rang the front desk for help with the TV. They rang twice, and they were waiting for someone to help them. I have stayed at Intercontinental Hotels in other locations, and the service is always very good. While some departments at this location were good, they needed to be more balanced by the inconsistency of the other departments.

A cute hotel with a lovely Korean district right below! So close to the metro station! The room was generally clean and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend given the price!

Great place. Clean, and everything is great. One thing, free transfer can be ordered only by the phone. Please add email or other option, our flight was abroad so we can’t arrange transport before and walk to the hotel from airport. But it was hear.

The hotel is rated as a five-star hotel, but the interior is very old-fashioned and mediocre. The TV is equipment from 15 years ago, and the foreign signal cuts out every five minutes. Although we brought children and the hotel description mentioned child-related amenities, there were no children's bathrobes or slippers. After calling, we were given adult versions instead. The mattress was okay, but the water flow in the bathroom was almost non-existent, and the ceiling shower was basically unusable. When checking in, they directly informed us that there would be no hot water starting from 8 AM the next day, with no apologies, just saying that if you need hot water, don't use it after 8 AM the next day. This is the quality of their five-star rating.

Nice hotel. Newly opened. Shared building with another local hotel, so both addresses can be used when booking taxi. Very responsible and friendly staff. Lent me an umbrella when it was raining heavily and made me feel warm inside. Will stay again

Hotel is 10 minutes taxi ride from Wuxi station. 100 metres from Center 66 luxury mall with many eateries nearby.

Old oriental style hotel witha rich history. Look majestic and grand on the outside. (Interior of hotel in many nooks n corners are poorly maintained) Room service is superb. Super comfortable n firm bed. Located right within 太湖 (taihu lake) so you can jog/walk around the beautiful lake and giant ferris wheel in the morning and take in the fresh air. With outdoor pool n gym. Hotel food is mainly big fancy chinese restaurants n buffet. No casual dining . No western selection except the high tea cafe which serves some sandwiches and pasta. Hotel can organise ferry trip to turtlehead island

Very clean place and snack right in the city of WuXi. It’s in a High rise commercial building. Like a mix development of condo. Beside it is the shopping mall. I was given level 40 giving me an eye level view of the city. The best thing is you can see sunrise when you wake up (see picture). Seeing sunrise while enjoying your coffee. Very high tech room, no cards for door, you are given pin. don’t need to worry about losing the room card. Overall I think this is very good for travellers of all type. Unless you are looking for 5 star hotel kind of service level. If not this is very good. One disadvantage is, there is only 4 lift serving so many floors or unit, if one of the lift breaks down then the waiting time for life can be long. Things to note: There is no signboard of this apartment shown at the building, you just alight at the building beside Sanyang plaza shopping centre and walk in the commercial tall building and go to level 29. That’s the check in location

我們是附近居民，酒店經常路過，親戚來了，定個房間，真心不錯，設施新，性價比超高，高級大床房給我們免費升級到幾木大床房，一般兩點退房，還免費延遲到下午五點多，酒店下面就是金輪商業廣場，商鋪，衣服店，快餐，一樓二樓三樓有些飯店，東北菜，新加坡菜，江浙菜，火鍋，韓式的也有好幾家，星巴克，漢堡王，格瑞斯，生活便利，地下車庫免費停車。真心推薦！以後還會選擇！

Room was equipped with smart home equipment such as curtain, shades, and lighting. Room was spacious and comfortable, and dark at night, making it easy to sleep at night especially in December. Hotel reception is located at Apartment A, Level 15 which was not very easy to find but still manageable. Hotel is directly linked to the Metro through the basement making it very accessible to a lot of other malls. Service was very good and friendly especially to foreigners too. 房间设备都很好，安装了智能家居例如窗帘，灯光等，床边都能控制系统所以很方便，创业很舒服，很容易入眠。 酒店门口在A栋的第十五楼，酒店也在负一楼与地铁通，所以很方便三阳广场地铁站有很多吃的也通了很多其他的广场。服务员态度都很好，对国外人也是很理解。

Very good location for airport and also train station. Many meal place options at walking distance of the hotel. Room space and setup is well, good enough for business travellers.
