"Breakfast was excellent! The room was very spacious. Everything was clean, neat and tidy. I attended the hotel tour and ambassador Vanessa was very professional in telling me about the stories of different artifacts. I had a bit of cough, Vanessa and the other staff took good care of me. I left my jacket in the lobby. The staff found it and brought it back to me while I was having dinner in Meiyuan. Excellent hotel, excellent food and excellent service!!"

Checking in was a pleasant experience and handled efficiently by the receptionist; we were given an upgrade which was great too! Fiona, a staff member, asked to add me to WeChat so that we could communicate throughout the stay if I had any questions or requests while we were staying; that was a nice touch and reassuring to know we could reach-out anytime.
The room was great, and service whilst we were there was the same. Highly recommend staying here if you want a quieter stay in the city, with ease of access to the subway."

YYuan217Facilities: The facilities are still up to the standard of a past five-star hotel, generally good.
Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy. The couple who clean the rooms are friendly, diligent, and responsible, which is very thoughtful – big thumbs up.
Environment: Suzhou garden landscape, full of charm and atmosphere.
Service: There were too many people at the front desk, and the service attitude varied. I believe every guest will give a review based on their genuine feelings. However, there were one or two young ladies whose attitude was serious and friendly, and their service was excellent. Initially, the room they assigned us faced the swimming pool and was very noisy. I requested a change, and a good-looking young man handled it swiftly and efficiently. His friendly service attitude made me feel very welcome. He immediately switched our room. I want to give a special shout-out to this young man because he was able to solve the problem without even asking for a good review.

GGuest UserLoved this hotel, it was my child's favorite! It's located right on Shilu Pedestrian Street, surrounded by scenic spots and very close to all the main attractions. The Shilu Pedestrian Street metro station is just a few steps away, and it's also convenient to take a taxi to different sights. The evening views are beautiful too. The hotel itself is on the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors, and the 2nd floor has a great variety of local snacks. The only downside is that it's a bit hard to find; the hotel's prominent name sign is high up on the building. There's a large cat statue about 10 meters in front of the building entrance, which can serve as a landmark.

GGuest UserCame to Wuxi for a get-together with my sisters, and chose the Suning Galaxy International Hotel for the views. The 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows offered a panoramic view of Wuxi at night, encompassing both the city skyline and glimpses of Huishan Mountain and Taihu Lake – I absolutely loved it! 💕 The bedding was super comfortable. I was woken up by insects outside the window in the middle of the night, which was a small hiccup, but after communicating with the butler, the issue was resolved promptly and efficiently. This dedication to prioritizing guests' peace and comfort truly reflects the core of the hotel's service. Good management isn't just about spotting problems, but also about the comforting touch that follows [strong]. It's also worth mentioning that the hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with plenty of shopping and dining downstairs [satisfied]. Our personal butler, Bunny, was always online and responded quickly to any requests, making our check-in and stay incredibly smooth and worry-free [love].

GGuest UserWhen we arrived, the dam had been repaired, and we could see the beautiful view of Tianmu Lake from the hotel door. The hotel housekeeper contacted us in advance, and we stayed in the private soup room and gave us fish head vouchers. For other dishes, we ordered black rice and The small bamboo shoots are quite delicious when cooked, and the experience is still very good!

GGuest UserFood: Breakfast was varied, with western，asian and local. We had Dinner at the main buiding using ******* set menu and it was a good deal, as the 2 person deal is enough to feed 4 and tasted quite delicious.
Location: it is a resort so you are going to spend most of the time on the resort ground. We booked 3 day 2 night and the time was enough to explore everything. Nice scenery.
Amenities: only a few activities were covered in our package so it will depend on your package. The package was confusing and we didnt know exactly all the activities that were free or cost extra. The reception on check in should have explained all of this upon check in, but maybe they are not trained, or maybe because our accomadation at pinecone is considered 4 star so they used lower quality staff. All the free stuff are a bit lame and service was poor except for the craft lady who actually showed us a wechat app for the hotel where free activity voucher can be found. They outsourced the activity area so that is really poor decision as it hurts the brand image due to service levels. For hotel staff, thumbs up to the shuttle ladies, who you call to get from one place to another. They are prompt and speedy.
Service: check in staff was professional but not warm. As mentioned, the activity area is outsourced so most staff are cold and seemed rude, except for the craft lady who was actually decent. But considering this resort and the type of guest, i would consider this really bad.
Cleaniness: the room is very clean, a bit worn (see pics of wall), but it feels quite clean.

GGuest UserThis hotel, a landmark in Nanjing, boasts breathtaking views from its high-rise location! I stayed in a 69th-floor lake-view room, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning vistas of Xuanwu Lake, Purple Mountain, the Yangtze River, and the city lights. Both the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening were incredibly therapeutic. It's super convenient, just a 1-minute walk to Gulou subway station, and a 5-minute stroll to Xuanwu Lake for a morning run. Ji Ming Temple and Deji Plaza are also very close by.
The 50 sqm room is spacious, and the separate large bathtub with city views was perfect for a relaxing soak. The bedding was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the soundproofing was excellent. Breakfast offered a wide variety, including local Nanjing delicacies like duck blood and vermicelli soup and soup dumplings. The Executive Lounge's afternoon tea had unlimited desserts, hot dishes, and drinks, and the sunset views from there created an amazing atmosphere. Ms. Alice at the front desk provided thoughtful service, proactively suggesting great photo spots and ensuring efficient luggage delivery. This is definitely my top choice for a vacation in Nanjing!

1. Usually, hotels have a butler escort you to your room and explain things, or at least wait at the door. On our check-in day, we arrived at our room to find the door open. A staff member in plain clothes suddenly emerged from the room, startling us. But that's a minor detail.
2. The public hot spring (gongtang) operating hours are 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM. However, when we went at 9:30 PM, after showering, ready to soak, we were told the 'golden' spring (jintang) was already being cleaned and we couldn't use it. Why couldn't anyone warn us when we entered or while we were showering? They started cleaning a full hour before closing, and there were 3-4 other guests in the women's bath at the time; everyone just looked at each other in disbelief.
3. On Tuesday, before checking out, I wanted to have one last soak, so I woke up early. But when I entered the women's changing room, all the lights were off (the locker access card still worked, so the access control wasn't off, and there were no 'closed' signs at the entrance). I had to call the front desk myself to find out it was closed on Tuesdays. No one mentioned this to us during check-in or at any other time, and it wasn't in the check-in guide. So, we woke up early for nothing. The front desk said it was mentioned on Ctrip (it was, but in tiny font about seven or eight pages down).
There were also no compensation measures. When we checked out, there were even other guests who had driven over specifically for the hot springs, only to be told it was closed that day. They also made a wasted trip, so the unclear signage is definitely not an isolated incident.
Other than that, the value for money is quite good, and the private hot spring (sitang) fees are reasonable, though the private springs only offer the 'silver' spring (yintang).

XXiaohuadidiThe hotel environment is great, and the rooms have just been renovated but there's no unpleasant smell. The service is excellent! I'd especially like to thank Tingting at the front desk, Wang Zhi from housekeeping for the beautiful flowers, Xiaoyun at the kids' club for helping me find my baby's water bottle, and Wu Dan for the generous fruit delivery. Overall, the service was fantastic! [smiley faces] It's also very suitable for children, as they can feed koi, bunnies, black swans, and ducklings. The children's play facilities are also abundant.

GGuest UserExploring Suzhou, I was fortunate to stay at Jiangnan Zhizao Mansion. This visit felt like stepping into a Jiangnan poem, truly unforgettable. The courtyards and corridors are beautifully laid out, with dark tiled roofs and white walls complemented by lush flora. Every step offers a picturesque view, exuding elegance. Sitting in the courtyard, I felt all the city's hustle and bustle melt away. The guest rooms are clean and refined, with tasteful and comfortable furnishings. The bedding was soft, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were polite and attentive, answering all my questions thoroughly, especially when I inquired about local streets and historical sites, showing genuine hospitality. Staying here, I could easily immerse myself in Suzhou's vibrant life right outside, yet return to a tranquil haven. Every brick and tile whispers the charm of Jiangnan, and every interaction reflects their sincere dedication to hospitality. This wonderful accommodation felt like a celestial being gracing the mortal world, with its elegant charm touching my heart. When I return to Suzhou, I will definitely stay here again. Special thanks to Xiao Liu for their excellent service.

KKuangxiangdelvcheng_AileenHaving stayed in the new building before on a previous trip to Nanjing, I specifically chose the old Jinling Tower this time to try it out. Honestly, the room isn't huge, but the value for money is truly excellent. It had everything you'd expect – welcome fruit and a well-stocked mini-bar, nothing was overlooked.
The service was the same familiar, comforting standard. Every staff member I encountered was polite and smiling, which was very pleasant.
The location is incredibly convenient. Subway Lines 1 and 2 are right downstairs, and Exit 6 leads directly to the hotel. If you want to visit Deji Plaza, just take the underground passage from Exit 7 – it's a short walk and you won't be exposed to the elements.
