Hotel Dengan Spa di Hokkaido, Japan

Hotel is in the city centre and quite close to the basement metro. We can walk to the beer museum and the tanukikoji shopping street nearby. It's also a short distance walk to reach the underground shopping shops, which was very convenient. However the hotel doesn't provide hot water refills at the lobby, refills are only reachable inside the breakfast diner. We ordered hotel breakfast for the first day of stay but not for the second and third night, but the breakfast diner's receptionist still kindly let us in for refills of the hot water. Breakfast is on moderate level and menu variety could be better still, regarding the price paid. Not much seafood options to be found, besides the mini sashimi don.

Location: Within the airport international terminal. Short indoor walk from Arrivals. Very convenient. Atmosphere: Calm, quiet and friendly. Warm welcome. Full of artistic features. Rooms: Well appointed, spotlessly clean. Spacious. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Amenities: Library. Tea House and Onsen Breakfast: Lovely breakfast spread. Delicious ramen. We would love to be back.

Location is superb, close to Sapporo Station and Odori Park. Breakfast was delicious, but didn’t change at all between days - which isn’t a big issue. Room is small like typical in Japan, but clean and comfortable. Lastly, the rooftop area has an incredible view of clock tower in odori park that you can enjoy together with a cold beer from the vending machine there. Onsen is also on top floor and is top notch. Would stay again when in Sapporo, safe choice.

The female staff could speak English and very throughly explained everything. We stayed 2 nights. The outdoor hot spring is amazing. Breakfast is delicious, view is great.

The hotel is in the centre of Sounkyo and within minutes walk to the ropeway and Momijidani maple valley. There are not many dining options around the hotel thus is recommended to book their room with breakfast and dinner. The buffet was very sumptuous and they offered many free different alcohol drinks. There are 3 onsens located in different buildings. We tried the biggest one that offers both indoor and outdoor onsens. Views was breathtaking. We stayed in tatami room and when we entered the room we couldn't find our futon. Apparently we have to move the furniture in the room to make space for the futon. We didn't know so we send a message to the reception through Qr code provided (apparently there is no direct telephone connection to the reception) and was told that they will set up the futon when we go for our dinner. We found it strange as we were not informed when we checked in. Other than that everything is fine except the bathroom is a bit small and last call for breakfast is 8:30am which we think is a bit early. We need to wake up early for the breakfast.

I was very impressed with this hotel. The staff were excellent, spoke fluent English, and were very helpful. The hotel is new, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is varied and delicious. There's a 24-hour fitness center and a clean onsen.

As a non japanese speaker, i tried using google translate to give my request to the lady at the front desk which was a unique one. I pointed to my phone and as i was typing ”I have 2 bicycles and need to know if i can park them here or go somewhere else, can you help me?” she said in an increasingly loud and frustrated tone, despite me asking her to wait as i typed: ”passport, Passoport.. PASSPORT PLEASE!” I showed her the translation and she let out a ”HUH?! Bicycle?!?” in such a rude way that made me feel like wow am i making a very complex request? did i speak rudely? did i ask a very difficult thing that's so absurd that she never heard it before? Either way i wish her well. perhaps she had a bad day or bad encounter before me. Just wish i didnt have to be on the receiving end of that. Still, the place is clean and has a bath house in the basement which is great!

The room layout is good with shower booth and toilet in separate areas for convenience. The room was spotless, and the sleep quality was exceptional. The bed was plush and supportive, ensuring a truly restful night. My only real grievance was the daily housekeeping procedure, which felt disorganized. I followed the instructions by leaving my trash and used towels outside the door before the stipulated time, yet they were not replaced with a new set. I ultimately had to go down to the lobby to request fresh supplies myself. Note that there are limited on-site parking spots with partner discount which I appreciate very much. Despite the minor hiccups, the physical room and sleep quality are top-tier.

This is definitely a gem in Furano, the room is incredible but it will be better with bathtub! I was given a warm welcome by the staff, her smile was just so warm that it could melt the snow and ice outside the hotel. The hotel's onsen is fantastic according to my wife and I don't have time to visit Onsen as I spent my time with my daughter inside the kid room, very clean and spacious kid room it has. The internet speed is also blazing fast compared to other hotels in Hokkaido (Have to work while travelling). Looking at the price and the room I'm getting, it is really worth every single cent!

Love our stay there. Rooms have view of slope or nature. Just beisde Ningle Terrace and you can walk further down to the winter forest, so magical. Hotel has express bus service and private car services are conveniently bookable. The only disadvantage is it's further to the train stations. However we were able to come here directly by Ski Liner from Tomamu and leave with Lavender bus to Asahikawa, it also goes to Furano and Biei directly. Hot spring resort is so so, not much facilities and a small place. It's pity they don't provide free shuttle bus or free entry to nearby snowlands.
